Can the SC-2345 be used as the basis of a vibration control system

I am in the begining stage of putting together a small vibration control and measurement system for one of our Professors. I have a small MB shaker and amplifier, accelerometers, an SC-2345 based system and 2 SCC-ACC01 accelerometer modules. Before I commit to going forward can I assume that this assortment of hardware is adequate for a simple vibration control system? If so, is there a set of .vi's available such that I could show a simple demonstration of the unit?

Thanks for your posting,
By using an acelerometer or two, you will be able to measure the stimulus (shaker) and the response (vibration transferred thru the unit under test) with the two accelerometers. By analyzing the vibration, you can determine whether to increase or decrease the vibration level. You may want to perform vibration level measurements, or vibration measurements at specific frequencies. Either way, the output of your analysis should be a scaler value which you can use as a process value for a PID algorithim or other control algorithim. The output of the control algorithim would control for example the magnitude of the vibration signal fed to the shaker.
So the diagram is really 1) measure vibration leve 2) pass level thru control algorithim and 3) adjust amplitude of signal fed to shaker.

Prepare Funds Management Installation
When implementing the Funds Management Government component, you should take care to carry out the individual steps in a particular order. You enter the required preconfigurations and functions at different points in the SAP System.
So when implementing Funds Management, you should observe the following sequence:
1. You use the "Enterprise Structure" to create company codes, FM areas, and controlling areas. For more information, see the Enterprise structure IMG in sections:
a) "Define, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code"
b) "Maintain FM Area"
c) "Define, Copy, Delete, Check Controlling Area"
2. You then assign an FM area to each company code and controlling area relevant to Funds Management.
For more information, see sections:
a) Assign company code to FM area
b) Assign controlling area to FM area
3. You create your G/L accounts in the General Ledger Accounting menu. For more information, read the chapter: Create G/L accounts in the G/L accounting IMG (FI-GL) under G/L account master records.
4. Use Financial Accounting customizing to maintain the field status definition groups. These determine which fields in the account can accept input, must be maintained, or are hidden, when you are entering business transactions. Note that the additional account assignments "Commitment item", "Funds center" and "Fund" will only accept input if you mark the relevant fields as required or optional entries. Likewise, for Materials Management purchase requisition and purchase order postings which do not go into stock, you must flag the "Commitment item", "Funds center" and "Fund" fields as required or optional entries in order to be able to make entries in them. You can find more information in the Purchasing IMG in section "Maintain account assignment types" .
6. If you want to integrate inventory management with Funds Management, there are different ways of controlling this, depending on the warehouse concept you chose. For more information, go to the Funds Management IMG and read sections Make Other Settings and Integration with Inventory Management.
7. If you want to integrate Assets Accounting, you must go to the Funds Management implementation guide and flag as budget relevant the transaction types for the individual transactions (acquisitions and retirements). You can find more information in the IMG Funds Management Government in the section Flag Transaction Types as Budget Relevant.
8. If you want to integrate Payroll Accounting with Funds Management, you must define funds centers and funds for the individual Infotypes. For more information, see the Funds Management IMG Funds Management Government in the section "Define Start Date for HR Integration (Without HR Commitments Scenario 2)".
9. If you want to integrate Travel Management with Funds Management, the "funds center", "commitment item" and "fund" fields must be ready to accept input when you post in Travel Expense Accounting. 10. You switch to the Funds Management application menu, create your master data (commitment items, funds centers and funds) and then define your account assignment derivation.

Central system is not required to be created explicitly. Once you install the TDMS Add-on components the system can be used as a control as well as central. Only condition being that to use a system as a central system the server should be with basis release higher than 6.2.

POS to BC Inventory Control

Are there any POS systems for a retail store front that can be connected to the inventory control on BC?

Inventory Control Solution

Our group has a small lab (networking, servers, other odds and ends) as well as a small equipment closet with general test gear (network analysis, spectrum analyzer, some installation gear, etc.). Unfortunatley items frequently go missing, either someone has them on a job or took them out and didn't replace them when finished.
I'm looking for simple methods you may have used for inventory control. At minimum it should note the equipment status (available, checked out, unavailable/broken), the date it was checked out and planned to be returned, and the person checking it out. Ideally it would also allow a "witness" or a controlling authority who would either authorize or witness the check-out. Historical information on check-out/in would be nice but not a requirement at this time. May be a future need.
Ideal future capabilities would include ability to include photos of equipment; record various information such as serial numbers, included accessories; state of condition/repair of main item and accessories; and other information that would assist in managing and maintaining lab equipment.
Has anyone used available (commercial or free) software, or developed a good internal spreadsheet or database for this function? What are your recommendations or experiences? Appreciate any feedback.

I've built systems like this in the past, with any custom solution the devil is in the details, it depends on what you want to do and what you expect. As Liam has pointed out the API is your best friend here, you can develop something that pulls data from BC and puts it where you need.
If you try to do everything at once (all those sites listed) you might find you have problems, I would start with one site first, make any changes you need there and roll out to the other platforms.

Wireless Control System Error Msgs.

Hi,
I have a problem with Wireless Control System (WCS v7) WCS-STANDARD-K9 and installed with WCS-PLUS-100 (installed two licenses) so total licensed installed is for 200 Acesspoint's in WCS. I have 149 AP's connected to WCS and its shows error " System is in voilation of license. The number of APs (149) registered is greater than licensed (0). Please go to the license center under the Administation Menu to add additional WCS licenses.
What would be the reason for this error,? Thanks

If you go to the license center in WCS, do you see a total of 200 AP support. You need to make sure you have a base license before you add additional plus license. I had an issue before, where I added a whole bunch of plus license after I installed a 250 base. I had 400+ APs and ran into the same issue but I had 250 base. Well I forgot to add the other 250 base so I had to remove all the plus license before I could add the other 250 base. Then I had to add all those plus license after that. The license center will tell you exactly how many APs it will support. From what you posted, it looks like you have 0.
