Recipe Managment - Base Unit for Nutrient

Hi,
I am currently setting up Recipe management master data and am experiencing a problem with Base Unit for Nutrient. I am able to see the field Base Unit for Nutrient and even drop down on it but the field is not available for input?
I have checked the following: The "Base Unit for Nutrient" entry is assigned to the Value Assignment Type "SAP_RMS_1011_001" (IMG: Specity Value Assignment Types) and has the class "SAP_RMS_1011_001" assigned with Value Assignment Category "A" which has the Tab Pages "REL, SOURCE, USAGE and VAL". The specification type is Nutrient. In the IMG Activity "Property Tree" the RM_Nutrient is maintained with the Value Assignment Type "SAP_RMS_1011_001".
I have also checked Table based value assignment in IMG and have the following entries:
SAP_RMS_1011_001 1 OBJID_STDVAI_SORT SVA 1 5
SAP_RMS_1011_001 2 OBJID_STDVAI_ASSESSMENT SVA 2 3
SAP_RMS_1011_001 3 OBJID_STDVAI_STATUS SVA 3 4
SAP_RMS_1011_001 4 OBJID_STDVAI_RELATION SVA 4 4
SAP_RMS_1011_001 5 OBJID_USAGE USA 5 30
SAP_RMS_1011_001 6 SAP_RMS_1011_001_VALUE CHA 6 22
SAP_RMS_1011_001 NUTRIENT 0 UOM FOR NUTRIENT CHA 1
Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to make Base unit an input field?
Thanks in advance,
Fforster01

Hi,
Please check in the IMG acticity 'Set Up Table-Based Value Assignment' the table entry (column 5) for the valuation type SAP_RMS_1011_001, object SAP_RMS_1011_001_VALUE. Is the indicator 'editalbe' marked?

  • How to default base unit for asset calss in OAOA

Could you please suggest that how I can specify the base unit in asset class at T-code "OAOA"?
At the first time of configuration, I didn't fill in the value in field "base unit". After that I have created the transaction in this asset class. But now I'd like to default the base unit in asset master but this field in "OAOA" is only display. I can't change anything
    Thank you for you advance.

    Please advice...
Your screen layout rule mean configruation in the following right??
path: Asset Accouting>Master Data>Screen Layout>Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data
If yes, field "Unit of measure" is set to optional. But It had not yet to fill in "base unit" in T-code "OAOA".
Do you have any more detail?
    Thank you...

  • Recipe Management: Formula: Allocation of substance to a material

    Hi folks,
I'm working with the recipe management.
If I try to maintain the formula register "input and output" with a substance without a material allocation I'm getting an error that I have to allocate the substance to a material. How can I maintain only a substance as an input?
    Second question:
In the IMG, recipe management, environmental parameters I need to maintain the parameter FRML_ESTCAT_NUTR_COMP. What value do I need to allocate?
    Thanks in advance.

    1. run this report in SE38 RC1PHDEL it will clear you memory and allow new spec creation
    2. Tab 'Value assingments' will have a column 'Base Unit for Nutrient' this is where you have to specify the UoM (g, mg, ..)
    - please check IMG Value assingment type for SAP_RMS_1011_001 - specfication type = Nutrient 'C' - Composition is checked and 'P' unchecked
    also
you should have the following entries for the Table based value assingment in IMG
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          1     OBJID_STDVAI_SORT     SVA     1     5
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          2     OBJID_STDVAI_ASSESSMENT     SVA     2     3
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          3     OBJID_STDVAI_STATUS     SVA     3     4
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          4     OBJID_STDVAI_RELATION     SVA     4     4
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          5     OBJID_USAGE     USA     5     30
    SAP_RMS_1011_001          6     SAP_RMS_1011_001_VALUE     CHA     6     22
SAP_RMS_1011_001     NUTRIENT     0     UOM FOR NUTRIENT     CHA     1
make sure last value assingment is present
SAP_RMS_1011_001     NUTRIENT     0     UOM FOR NUTRIENT     CHA     1
otherwise run IMG activity: Create Entries for the Value Assignments for SAP_RMS_1011_001
    hope this helps

  • Can you hook up multiple pairs of wireless headphones to the MDR-DS6500 base unit

Can you hook up multiple pairs of wireless headphnes to the MDR-DS6500 base unit or do you need a base unit for every pair you would like to connect to your tv? if you can which models are compatible?
    Thanks

Do I need an AirPort to attach to each set of speakers that I want to connect, or is there another kind of receiver I can hook up to the speakers that do not have any kind of WiFi or Bluetooth configuration?
You basically have two choices: 1) Place an AirPort Express base station at each of the speaker locations, or 2) Use an AirPlay-Ready receiver that offers whole-home audio support. The latter would require that all speakers be connected back to the receiver.
Also, if I am planning to set up the airplay by using the extended network configuration, then the Wifi base station does not need to be an AirPort station? I have Fios and had trouble last time I tried to hook up an AirPort in place of the router that they provided.
The AirPlay networking protocol requires either a wireless or wired connection between the AirPlay server (typically iTunes) and the AirPlay speaker (AirPort Express, Apple TV, or an AirPlay-Ready receiver or speaker). AirPlay will traverse over an extended Wi-Fi network regardless of which manufacturer hardware is used.

  • Requistion and Purchase Order - base unit and order unit

    People,
I have a basic doubt in MM:
I have a Requisition with a item using the base unit, for instance 20 litres.
When I create a Purchase Order in ME21N passing the requisition and item number, I must be converted to the order unit, correct?
In this case, we have 1 UN (order unit) corresponds to 20Liters (base unit).
I did believe the Purchase would be converted to 1 UN, but I got 20 Liters.
    What is correct?
    Thanks a lot!

If you maintian the order unit in the mateiral master purchaisng screen than whenever you create the PO system will convenrt in to that order unit and in the Po item details you will see the conversion of base unit to order unit.
now suppose you have more than one order unit than you activate the Variable order unit in the material master and maintiqan the conversion of that and create the diff info record for diff order unit based on the vendor so whne oyu create the PO as per the vendor system will pull the order unit in the PO.
Hope this will give you clear picture.

    hello,
At Recipe Management message No. FRMLCALC030 is meant to acknowledge
that there are EH&S Easy Expert connection issues, and since formula
explosion uses Easy Expert for calculations, it should be running
and available via RFC connection 'EHS_EXPERT'.
For more information on current installed EH&S Easy Expert, see the
Set Up Easy Expert on following IMG activities :

  • Problem about temperature unit for SGL, LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1

A question about temperature unit for SGL and DBL, LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1.
The attachment is a test VI.
From running the test.vi it shows that the temperature units Cdeg and degC are different (why?), and Cdeg and K seem to be same.
For a SGL control in degC unit (i.e. "temperature 3" in frontpanel of test.vi), the default value can not set to zero. When set the default value to 0, it shows -6.10352E-6.
The similar problem exists for the units Fdeg and degF.
Could anyone please give me an explanation?
    Thank you,
    Xu

Cdeg is another way of saying "In degrees defined by the Celsuis scale starting from absolute zero". So it is the same as Kelvin.
degC is another way of saying "In degrees defined by the Celsius scale starting from the freezing point of pure water at sea level".
As for missing zero by a about six microdegrees, it is because when units are used, the values are always converted to base units. The base unit for tempurature is Kelvin. 0 degC just happens to be a bit off from what a computer can give for that many degrees Kelvin. I am not sure why it is changing your input, however.

  • Linking DMS to a Content Repository for Recipe Management

How do I link a document type to a content repository?
This is for Recipe Management. When I look in DC10 I can see that there is a document type of RMS for Recipe Management.
I assume this means Recipe Management is connected toDMS
I have created a content repository ZRM using OAC0.
How do I make the link between the document type RMS in DMS and the content repository ZRM?

Thanks for the reply but it isn't really what I was after.
I am only the basis guy so I am not sure of the application but my expectation is that users will save a document with a document type of RMS. This document should be saved to a Content Repository
What you have described is how to save a type of document such as MS Word to a particular repository. I was hoping that Recipe Management documents (possibly MS Word, possibly not) would go to a Recipe Management Repository.
There still might be the possibility that documents (possibly MS Word) for other projects e.g. packaging could be written to a different repository.
What I am hoping for is a link from the document type RMS in DC10 to the Content Repository defined in OAC0.
I have a suspicion this is via the category defined by OACT.
The link from SAP DMS to Content Repository seems fundamental to me. I am surprised no one has the answer
...or perhaps I have completely missed the point?

  • Landscape for implementing Recipe Management

    Hello All,
Can someone kindly guide me as what's the recommended Landscape for Recipe Management, for example should two different ECC clients should be mantained ?, Recipe Management Recipes/Specifications stored in first 'source box' and Supply Chain data like BOM and Master Recipe stored in target box (basically creating bom/master recipe using transformation process from source box) ???. Kindly please throw some light and also how data is distributed between the two clients. Is Material Master first created in Supply Chain Box (target box), than ALE'd to source box, where it can be linked to Specifications??
Kindly let me know if I am thinking in correct direction, and also how to connect the 2 boxes?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
I think u r right abt the path proposed. However, i am adding few lines further. When implementing ALE functions it has to be ensured that the SAP system is implemented in a well structured way in both clients. Also it has to be ensured that during installation of ALE,  the specification global settings and process functions are not altered in any way.
If ALE business processes are supported, functions and processes must be defined on a cross-system basis. The message types exchanged between the systems are defined in the distribution model. To implement the distribution of business application processes and functions using ALE it is indeeded to construct a logical Distribution Model of the whole system.
Within the framework of this configuration, customers can specify which applications are to run on which systems and which messages are to be exchanged between the applications. For example the Master data distribution for logistics is .
You can specify the relationships between logical systems, message types, BAPIs and filters in the distribution model. Applications and the ALE layer use the model to determine receivers and to control the data distribution.
For more information about maintaining the distribution model see the Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG):
Application Server -  IDoc Interface/Application Link Enabling (ALE): Modeling and Implementing Business Processes and Maintaining the Distribution Model
Go thru the link for clarity on the implementation of IDoc interface/ electronic data interchange between the clients and master data.

  • Password for base unit asked at start-up??

    Hello,
I have just purchased an Airport Extreme and followed the instructions by installing the CD first and then connected the Airport Extreme.
I use the Airport Utility to do the set-up but when I select continue it asks me for the base unit's password? I have tried to recet the unit on the back but still keeps asking for this password which I have no idea of.
    Hope someone can help me?
    Thanks!

To do a reset locate the the button on the back of the AE, while the AE is powered on use a pen or paperclip to depress the button, when the amber light starts blinking rapidly it has been reset to the factory defaults.
    Try re-doing your installation by:
    1. Starting Spotlight and typing Airport Utility
    2. When AU starts then follow the on-screen instructions on installing it.
If you still run into problems you can contact Apple and they will help you install it.

    Hi schaerm,
    you have to dig deeper.
    An idea is this one:
The red marked word is containing the unit - in a coded way. Somewhere in the LV help you can find the description of this coding (I remember a chapter on memory representations of all LV datatypes...). (There surely is an easier or better way - but the example is done quic&dirty.)
You can also format the number into a string and analyze the unit here...

    Dear Mr Sabine
I observed that you have closed lots of thread without a proper solution. How can you do that? Or what propel you to close the thread? The closure should be done by the person who have created the thread. Till he/she gets a proper reply or the problem is resolved why to close. It may take some time, some days also. Delay reply should not be the reason for closure.
So please avoid from closing unilaterally.

  • Base Time Unit for Axes Format on CNiGraph

I am graphing many points of data over a time of several days long. I was wondering if there is a way to format the Axes on the Graph to display a base unit of hours instead of days. It is a simple enough task to convert between days and hours, but I find that once the graph reaches the 24th hour it starts displaying time from 0. If I use Integers than the time is displayed like so, (26.75) instead of the preferred display(26:45). I could write a function to convert from decimal format to time format, but I'm not sure how to use this function when setting the format string.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you look up the FormatString Property for CWAxis in the Measurement Studio Reference, the last paragraph before “Example” is
“With ActiveX controls, the date is implemented as a floating-point value, measuring days from midnight, 30 December 1899. So, midnight, 31 December 1899, is represented by 1.0. Similarly, 6 AM, 1 January 1900, is represented by 2.25, and midnight, 29 December 1899, is -1.0. However, 6 AM, 29 December 1899, is -1.25. To interpret the time portion, take the absolute value of the fractional part of the number. Thus, 1 second equals 1 / 24 hours / 60 minutes / 60 seconds, which is 1/86400 or approximately 1.157407e-5.”
The point is that as soon as the fractional part of your value goes from about .9999942 to about .9999943 your time will roll from 23:59:59 to 00:00:00, if you are using one of the Date or Time format strings. If you want to stick with a Date or Time format string, “mm/dd/yy hh:nn:ss” might suit your needs best.
Or, you could try using a function like you suggested and display the converted time as a number. That is, once you turn 26.75 into 26.45, display 26.45 as a Number.
    I hope this helps.
