Reclassification - Posting Logic with Different Posting Levels

Hi *,
we've a reclassification task on posting level 30.
In SAP online help I've found the statement "The system includes all values of the triggering object(s) entered or posted with a posting level less than or equal to 30.". So I assume that also PL 12 and 22 is covered by our reclassification task. However, I've realized that the task doesn't consider postings on PL 12 or PL22. Within the SAP help I couldn't find a remark that cons group changes are exluded.
Does anyone know whether cons group changes have to be considered by the system?

Hi Daniel,
AFAIK, 00, 01, 10, 20 and 30 PLs are considered by the system in case of reclass on the PL 30.
PLs of cons groups changes ( 02, 12 and 22) are not considered.

Export with different audio levels

I need, very often, to export the same clip with different audio levels.
Is it possible to make presets with altered audio levels, let's say one for -12db and one for -8db.
Until now, i alter the audio level in Premiere, then I make one export, then I go back to Premiere, change again the audio level, I make the second export etc. It works, but it is very time consuming.

I am looking at something similar.
On boot I receive the above notices for IRQ 17 and IRQ18. Not seeing any further messages after boot, though.

In my logs this error occurs about once a day:
unix: [kern.info] NOTICE: IRQ20 is being shared by drivers with different interrupt levels.
This may result in reduced system performance.I cannot find any information about this message. Do I have to worry about it?

Hi,
it so not possible stack two switches with different licence. You will have to order new license to be same on both switches.

Q. What are the license requirements for a Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch stack?
A. In a Cisco Catalyst 3850 stack, all switches should be at the same image-based license (IP Services/IPBase/LAN Base) level. The active switch license level is considered as the reference, and the member switch licenses are compared against it. If there is a mismatch, the active switch with the syslog message “ license mismatch error” indicates that the stacking was unsuccessful.
Q. How is a “ license mismatch error” fixed in a Cisco Catalyst 3850 stack?
A. The license level of the mismatch stack member switch can be changed with the license right-to-use activate <license> all acceptEULA CLI command (entire stack should have the same wired license level) and reloaded from the active switch console. This will enable the member switch to join the stack successfully. The customer has to purchase a license before moving to a specific license level.

Restrict Access To Page Not Working with Different Auth Levels

I have just started playing with the idea of using different auth levels to allow different users access to certain pages on my site.
Within my SQL database I have a authlevel table consisting of 3 possible levels (guest, user, admin)
I am using the Dreamweaver "Log in user" to log in users based on username, pass, and auth level and "Restrict access to page" set to allow user levels 'user' and 'admin'.
The problem, however, occurs when trying to log in. No matter what auth level I try I am redirected to my page where users should be redirected if they are not allowed to enter that page.
I have included below my code from my login page and the page where all authorized users (user and admin) should be directed upon entering the restricted area.

you don't need all that bloat. set a session during login of some kind of uniquely identifying id. i.e.
$_SESSION['id'] = $row_rs['id'];
then on the pages you need to protect, check it like this....

you can use an include file i.e.

How to save Jobs with different priority level in a Queue?

Hi, Friends,
I have a set of Job (see below) objects.
I would make a queue: if they have the save priority level, first in and first out. this is easy to do by ArrayList. however, If they have different priority level, I would like make the Jobs with the highest level first out.
How can I implemented this idea in Java?

Restoring the backup on other server with different patch level

Hi Gurus,
I have one HP-UX B11.31 server which holds ORACLE software with 10.2.0.4 patch level, and I have restored one database with the same patch level from HP DataProtector successfully. Now, I want to restore two node RAC database backup with Oracle Patch level of 10.2.0.2 into the Restore server which is of 10.2.0.4 patch level, the RAC database uses ASM, here are the steps which I am going to follow;
1. Create a new database with the same schema as like the RAC database in ASM.
2. Restore & Recover the RAC database backup from Data Protector.
But, I have one question, can I restore & recover the backup which is in lower grade Oracle software patch level i.e; 10.2.0.2 on a higher grade Oracle software patch level ie; 10.2.0.4 ???

The point of upgrading the database comes when there is already a database and one is upgrading the ORACLE software version and then upgrading the database to its version using the scripts you suggest.
Here is the scenario where I have to restore and recover a 10.2.0.2 RAC database backup on 10.2.0.4 sotware version,
*my question is that, whether there will be any conflict of patch version as the Oracle Brain will be of the latest version? Oracle software will successfully restore and recover the database backup with a lower patch version? or it will throw any error when restoring the backup like compatibility unmatched between the software and the backup you are trying to restore & recover?*

Realms with different top-level domain

I'm testing OCS 10.1.2 and I am interested in setting up multiple realms.
Must all realms be in the same top-level domain? I see in the examples (like in Note Note:317434.1) names like this:
- Default realm created at install:
dc=us,dc=oracle,dc=com
- Additional realms created by the administrator post-install:
dc=uk,dc=oracle,dc=com
dc=ca,dc=oracle,dc=com
A more typical example for what we need would be:
dc=company,dc=co,dc=uk
dc=company,dc=no
dc=company,dc=de
Is this possible?

What are the consequence of that? Any practical problems?
I see in Note 308682.1 that the top level of a top level domain is NULL. So maybe instead of world you can use an empty top level domain.
However, this document refers to mail and not OID.

Compatibility between MII with different patch levels.

Hi all,
I know that the best solution is to have the same MII patch level in MII development environment and in produztion enviroment.
For many reasons that aren't under my direct controli, we'll have an MII 12.0.5 in development and MII 12.0.8 in production.
Are there any point to verify? Can we export from development environment and deploy to production without any changes?
On the contrary, what about having the development environment at a higher patch level than production enviroment (e.g 12.0.8 in development and deploy the solution on a 12.0.5 prduction enviroment)?

If you transfer from lower patches to higher patches there will not be any problem as such.
In the otherhand if you trying to export the project from higher to lower patch there you have the problem. Becuase some bugs might have been fixed in the higher patch those are not avaialble in the lower. For example in some date function of BLS might have been fixed in updated patch,the same you copied then that particulr function will not work in the lower patch and the BLS will come with errors.

Creating CDs in Logic with proper volume levels

I took some songs off of both audio tape and CD, and combined them into 1 compilation. I originally recorded the audio tapes into logic, then bounced them as AAC files. Then I brought those AAC files, plus songs from commercial CDs into iTunes and burned everything to a CD. However, all the volume levels were mismatched....the more I read about iTunes the more it sounds like the program does not do a good job at evening out all the volumes. Is it possible to use Logic to do this, and even burn the CD within Logic...I assume Logic would have this capability based upon it sophistication, Im just not sure how to do it. Thanks!

Also, is there any way to measure the level of each track within Logic
double click on the region to open it in the Sample editor window.

How to get two syslog resources with different filter levels into ASA

I have my ASA's set up to push logs to my syslog server:
logging host inside 198.xxx.xxx.185
logging trap notification
However, I would like to also trap if a VPN on my ASA's go down, but I want to send that to my SNMP server, NOT my syslog server. I also want to only trap that VPN log message and nothing else, so I want to set the filter level to emergencies:
logging host inside 198.xxx.xxx.16
logging trap emergencies (+ system message 123456)
How can I configure my ASA so that these two syslog destinations will have separate respective filter levels of notifications for .185 and emergencies for .16?
Also, does anyone know the System Log Message ID for a VPN tunnel going down?

Can i do client export import between systems with different patch levels

we want to do a client export import between two systems. As I understand the patch levels should be the same in both for this to happen..
But right now I am in a situation where time is a big constrant. The basis patch level is on par. But the rest are not. Can I do client import successfully at this stage.

The only thing that may stop it working could be additional functionality between the systems.
I work on XI and there is a huge difference between SP12 and SP15. We were able to do the transports between systems, but as Dev was patched before QA, and the transport was reliant on standard settings not being available, it still went though, but we had to transport it again after applying SP15 to QA.
Again, it probably depends on what System you have running on Netweaver...

As a general rule, only one listener is required for a machine as long as all database versions are currently supported. (In other words one listener for Oracle7 and Oracle11g will not work.)
As a general rule, an old listener MAY not be able to handle the features of the newer database (such as transferring blobs was a limitation in Oracle8). Therefore use the newest listener to handle all the databases.
As a general rule, listeners can be considered independent of databases in a sense similar as ASM. Therefore it's not a bad idea to have a separate ORACLE_HOME specifically to install the listener. This is especially useful if you have multiple databases with differing service level agreements,
