RECNCNB Search Help For Real Estate

hi,
RECNCNB is a serach help used for searching out 'Contract Name' in 'Active Contract ' . if i gave ABC in caps then it will search the item but if gave in small letter like 'abc' then it won't serach the item...

That Search Help doesn't exist on my system 46C.....You may need to use
TRANSLATE W_DATA TO UPPER CASE.
Before you do the search.....If all record are saved in UPPER CASE format....Your need to pass UPPER CASE strings....

BI content required for Real Estate and Plan Maintenence

I have BW 7.0 server with BI_CONT addon and support package level is 6 ie SAPKIBIIP6.
now we need the business content for real estate and plan maintenence. i have read documents which contains the business content , but i couldnt find the particular one am searching for ie..real estate and plan maintenence....
should i update the patch?

Profit center derviation for Real Estate

Hi Experts,
How do i achieve this scenerio in Profit Center u201CBALANCEu201D in required to be derivated in RERAPP and RERAOP posting for Real estate for VAT posting. The process which it follows is mentioned below, can any body suggest me how can get this.
Profit center of VAT postings:
When posting from RE transactions (RERAPP or RERAOP), VAT is not posted on the BALANCE profit center but
- On the building profit center in case one time posting (RERAOP) or periodic posting (RERAPP) from a contract which does not have the DUMMY profit center in the organizational assignment.
- On the DUMMY profit center in case of periodic posting (RERAPP) from contract with DUMMY profit center in the organizational assignment.
There's an FI substitution which assigns the BALANCE profit center for postings on balance sheet accounts, but for some reason this is not working for postings from the RE module.
There are VAT posting for RE, which are suppose to be assigned to the profit center BALANCE.

Hi,
1) I am sure that there is no seperate transaction code to view the profit center document. Either you need to view accounting documents in FB03 and go into the PCA document or you can go into the line item report of KE5Z, and double click the line item it takes you to the document.
2) The system is built in such a way that the secondary postsing to another object goes as statistical postings. The primary posting goes into cost object as real values which allows us to allocate from one object to another object. This allocation also goes into the profit center accounting as statistical as
per assignment of profit center to the cost objects.

Creating search help for a field in AdHoc Query

We have created an infoset based on LDB PCH.
(The infoset contains object type O only).
For the object-id field the users want search help when choosing this field for selection.
Using "start via selection screen" does not give a good solution.
Can anyone explain how I can create search help for fields in an infoset?

Search Help for Vendor Feild not getting populated in the Screen Element

Hi Everyone,
In transaction Miro, I get a POP-UP for Invoicing Party i.e. Vendor and Users required a custom search help.
The Search help for Vendor(LIFNR) is KRED_C and i appended a Z search help under this.
Now that the search help exists and I can drill down the values too but when i select/choose any value, that value is not getting populated in Screen feild.
is there any validation I need to do for this.
Please suggest me... I checked SDN there are many things but i couldn't figure out wat i need to do and where I need to modify.

Also the problem of display you are facing can also be because there are no records to be displayed which satisfies the selection criteria.

Hi,
when you define your field catalogue you can create data elements with search help in se11 and use them for field 1 and field 2.
But maybe it is enough to use data elements belonging to a domain with a value help and to set field F$AVAILABL in the field catalogue or to fill the name of the field CHECKTABLE.

How to get search help for 2nd parameter based on the 1st parameter value

   I have 2 parameters (material no, revision level). I have created a search help for revision level. It has an importing parameter :material no. and one exporting parameter : revision level.When I checked it, it's giving the revision values only for the specified.
In my report , I have kept these 2 materials in my selection screen.For revision level , I have added the matchcode object which I have created. When I pressed F4 for revision level, it's giving all the values irrespective of the material no. in the first parameter. How to solve it? Please suggest.

Enhancing standard (single select)search help for Multiple value selection

Hi,
Standard search help for Business Partner (in cProjects) allows only single value selection for input fields. I want to make this multiple selection.
Is there a way to do it.
I used an OVS and built a similar search but its difficult to get the standard options like saving to personal value list etc in it.
It would be good if there is a way to modify the standard search help to allow multiple selection. Any ideas??

As far as I know you can't make a standard ABAP dictionary search help return multiple entries - where you get this sort of functionality the searches don't use the standard Elementary search help framework (e.g. organisational structure searches)
Given that the WDA search help relies on these dictionary based searches, I'd think very much that you couldn't enhance it to return multiple. how you could even return multiple entries into a single UI element input field is also confusing to me.
I'd suggest creating a freely programmed value help, it would certainly take quite some effort to recreate those personal value lists etc, but it could be done - I don't like OVS, but that just me.

One search help for multiple select-options in webdynpro abap

I need a way to use one search help for multiple select-options fields. My scenario is :
I have a table for keeping different organizational units' values of different systems. I have pasted some sample data from this table at the end of this mail. On the screen I want to have 1 select-options filed for werks, and 1 select-options filed for vkorg. (In fact I will have more org. unit fields...) In the beginning of my application the user will select sid.
If the user selects ADS as SID, when he opens search-help for the first org. unit (werks), he will see the records with SID: ADS, VARBL = $WERKS, LANGU = SY-LANGU.
If the user selects AGT as SID, when he opens search-help for the second org. unit (vkorg), he will see the records with SID: AGT, VARBL = $VKORG, LANGU = SY-LANGU.
I have created a search-help taking SIDD, VARBL and LANGU as import parameters; used field mapping and bound this search help to my table. I have created 2 context nodes : org1 and org2 having attributes SID, VARBL, VALUE, LANGU .
I have assigned related SID, VARBL and Langu values to these attributes at runtime as I needed. That way, if I use input field and reference to the related context attributes org1-value and org2-value2 accordingly, search help works well as I want.
However, when I use select-options field , I can not bind the field to the context data. I can give reference only to ddic structure. Is there any way to reference to a context attribute? I searched for this in SDN, but could find nothing.
I think I won't be able to use this way. What do you say?
As I read from forums maybe using OVS help will be suitable for me. But I have to use one search-help for all select-options fields. Do you know how I can determine the active select-options field and pass its name (for instance "werks" ) as parameter to this OVS search help. (Also I'll pass SID and LANGU.)

If Yes, then in the interface IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS
method ADD_SELECTION_FIELD, ADD_PARAMETER_FIELD etc
have importing param like I_VALUE_HELP_TYPE and I_VALUE_HELP_ID, I_VALUE_HELP_MODE, I_VALUE_HELP_STRUCTURE
etc which may help you to link your create DDIC Search help to selection screen params.
this is just a clue from my side. I haven't tried it myself.
You can go to the where used list of this method and find some sample implementations which use these params.

How to assign search help for custom cost centre field in SRM 7.0

We are currently working in SRM 7.0.As per our business requirement, in account assignment tab we need to use a custom
cost centre field (ZCOST_CENTRE) instead of standard cost centre field.It is observed that for standard cost centre field there is a standard web-dynpro search-help assigned where it will return the F4 search help values from backend.
Can any one of you please help me how can I assign the search-help for the custom cost centre field. Is there any FM to call the backend cost centre search help for custom field or any other way how can I achieve this?

i can see your requirement in below way..
as it just reads: you need to assign the standard cost center help to a z cost center field in component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_ACC.. which actually is fetched though the component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH
so, if you see the component controller of SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_ACC you will see the component
USAGE_SH_F4 /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH
USAGE_SH_F4 /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH INTERFACECONTROLLER
so you can replicate the same functionality for your z field.
but can you clarify one thing.. why are you going for this z field in place of standard field ?

Search help for business partner ID in segmentation applet

In CRM 2007 I'm using the segmentation toll. When creating filters for Business Partner ID criterium I'm using a search help functionality to find the desired records. However search help for business partners used in this area is very different from the search help used in any other parts of WEB UI (it is restricted to only few fields, that are not enough for our requirements).
Segmentation applet is written in Java but the search help looks like normal WEB UI screen. I wonder if any of you could help me with replacing this serach help called by segmentation applet (java application) with a standard search help for business partners (BP_HEAD_SEARCH)?

I think the requirement/question is not very clear in your post.
However, the segment Java applet calls a CRM class which has related code and methods.
Class: CL_CRM_MKTTG_SEGAP_COM
Package: CRM_MKTTG_SEG_APPLET.
Please explain the problem in detail.
