Bought new imac and after typing in password for atv. The atv shows up under devices but the only tabs at top of sync window is summary and photos no movies,music,tv shows i deautherized old macs itunes before stowing it away
Thanks for quick reply i turned off sharing in itunes pref and checked box to prevent atv from syncing automatically but still just 2 tabs. Should i do a factory restore, time to resync no biggie i will be gone for a while . I did have movies on the atv drive itself from earlier mac

I used my Apple tv (1st generation) to load films on iTunes and then sync to my Aplle tv. In iTunes I now can only see Summary and Photos and therefore lost the ability to load a film and then sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced this with ? Cannot find any options to resolve this.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your library has become a secondary (streaming only) library only (it is possible to turn syncing off by ctrl-clicking on the Apple TV listing in the device list and choosing 'Turn Off Syncing" from the contextual menu) and you need to reconnect your library as a primary library.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted. -
My problem is that after upgrade to IOS 6.1.3 my iphone not sounds! dont have sounds notifications for whatssap, FB, mails and can't listen music and talk with skype without headphones or speakers! only have vibrator and sound for one coming call!! what can i do!???? Thanks a lot for help me!!!!
I have a nearly identical problem with my Ipad 3. Mine is the left channel. I've yet to find help, but have found a number of other posts on this and other forums discussing the issue. People have tried restore, reset etc. Also, cleaning the ports with compressed air or cotton swabs. It appears to be a software issue, but no one is sure.
Along with the original poster, I'd appreciate any help.

That's correct. Nor will it do it for me in the UK. As it say's in the Siri FAQ I linked to:
"Maps and local search support will be available in additional countries in 2012." -
Regarding my Epson 4540, utility tab has disappeared. I only have General and Ink supply tabs.
After installing Mavericks on my iMac (2009) the utility tab is no longer present for my Epson 4540. I only have two tabs: General and Supply.
You might try looking/posting on the Epson forum.

Apple TV showing only "Summary" and "Photos" under devices.
My ITunes is only showing "Summary" and "Photos" tabs when highlighted under Devices. No Music or Movie tab, thus I am unable to transfer iTunes purchases to watch on my TV.
After reading many posts on this topic, I read this post:

How do I "break the link and add iTunes as my primary library".On AppleTV go to Settings>Computers
The sync library is the top entry on list.
Your is probably empty or greyed out.
The entries below this are the stream libraries.
Basically move down to your current entry and select it with the remote, and it should give you some kind of message about deleting it.
Delete it, go to the top line and select that and it'll generate a new code to enter into iTunes. -

Trying to set up an old ATV on a Laptop and only get two tabs: "Summary" and "Photos". Can anyone please tell me how I get the TV-SHows, Movies, Music and other tabs to return?

With the new iTunes 9.0.2 upgrade I can no longer see the other tabs in iTunes for managing the content on my Apple TV Devices. When I click on the AppleTv under Devices the only 2 tabs that appear are "Summary" and "Photos" therefore I can not manage the movies directly.

You have the wrong type of library set up, you need to change to a primary library after disconnecting as a secondary one first.

Photostream when enabled will only add photos from the camera roll that were taken post photostream activation. (Photostream does not currently share video)
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream. -

i have the solution to the problem.first make an icloud email with the U.S or U.K store then go to setting and open app store and itunes store option......log out of the email adress u r signed in and then sign in using the icloud email u have created.when u r signed in then go to app store and download any app.they will review your account.choose the U.S store or U.K store then they'll use ur visa card but u have to choose none option and enter any address of U.S and telephone no.and i hope you'll be able to use itunes store.

I have been taking photos for years and have thousands. When I use Apple TV screen saver, it seems only to grab a handfull and repeats them. Is there a configuration setting that will allow me to have the screen saver grab more than just a few? Thanks.
The device has an 8GB drive for caching streamed meida, a small portion of that is used to temporarily store photos for the screensaver. It may vary depending on resolution etc but it seems to be around 100.

I bought a MacBook Air and wish to communicate with old iMac G5 2003-5 (sorry can't remember the year). The screen on the iMac is blank and will not come on but the hard drive still works. Can anyone tell me the cable I need to with the iMac & how to do it. I have music and photos on the iMac I cannot access.
Also, do I need to special CD/DVD external drive/burner to import music CD's into iTunes? I have tried and it keeps coming up with formatting problems.

I have noticed that on the itunes photo sync some more events and even several event per day are created but these photos are not in my iPhoto standard pictures (more events on iPhone tha.
Some of these pictures i have trashed them but they still appear in sync on iTunes.

These pictures are even not in trash bin because i empty it.

On my older Nano my iTunes music library shows 28 GB but I only have a fraction selected for download (maybe 2 GB total).. what gives?

Rid your Mac of the adware that is installed. To do that with Safari, go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. That's all there is... you can either drag and drop playlists to the contents tab or use autofill by selecting the playlist to auto fill from.
