Recomendation report preview give a bad lay out

Hello experts,
When I m running the payment wizard, once I m arrived to the recommendation report, I click on preview and the lay out given by this preview is not good at all. This issue happen only when the payment run is not executed, if it is executed the preview is correct.
I need this preview to select my payments before to execute them.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

  • Adding a column in the Universe level without losing the Report Lay out

    Hi all,
    I have one universe with three universes built on it. Now, I want to add a column to one of the tables in the universe. For that, I selected the table and gave 'Refresh the structure'. The column got added in the workspace of the universe. When I drag and drop the table to the class & objects panel, it got added to the class/table in the panel. I saved and exported the universe.
    When I do like above, and open the report in the BO XI R3.1 webi front end, the report throws the following error:
    'Universe contains unresolved objects' and the report lay out is lost. All the three reports built on this universe is throwing the same error.
    Please let me know if there is any other way to retain the report lay out and add the column in the universe level.
    Thanks in advance
    - Regards,
      Arun

    Welcome to the sometimes frustrating world of working with dates against SAP BW via BusinessObjects!
    Your best bet here is to have a financial calendar table in a database and build a new query against that. Return Week Number as a detail of date and then merge the date dimensions.

  • UDO OBJECT+ PRINT LAY OUT DESIGHNER

    Hi Friends
      I created a Sales invoice Udo Form. now i need to create invoice using Print lay out desighner. How can it possible . Any one can help me
    thanks

    Hi,
    U cannot have the same PLD fucntionality for ur UDO screens a work around is to add a PLD report which is created by code, Generally the thing i do is use a Crystal report  in place of the PLD. And open the report for user preview on the click of the Menu-Print Preview toolbar button.
    Hope it helps,
    Vasu Natari.

  • Problem using a lay-out break

    When I want to have a selection of text to have for example two columns I use two lay-out breaks: one before the selection and one after the selection. That works fine, but...
    Then the last line of a column doesn't show all the letters completely (the underpart of the g is cut off).
    What to do?
    Check the lines under numbers 4 and 8.

    Hello
    problem solved.
    Here is a screenshot of the original doc in which I just replaced the original font by Myriad.
    This time, the oddity is huge.
    I entered Inspector > Text > Text
    and discovered that line spacing was set to "exactly 15"
    I replaced the setting by
    "exactly 13"
    and the behavior is OK.
    It's OK too if I apply
    single line spacing.
    So, we know how to get rid of the problem.
    I wait a few days to see if some one is able to give a the theorical explanation.
    If I get none, I will post a report to Apple's Bugs Hunters.

  • Crystal report preview window freezes if I push any key on the keyboard

    our system is a pretty old one, and we are still using crystal report 7 and vc6(mfc6).
    It is a simple dialog based application with a button and a flex grid7.1 component on it.
    when the button is clicked, a crystal report preview window will be opened and become the active window.
    the problem is that, when i pushed a key on the keyboard ('a' for example) the whole application will freeze, and CPU Occupancy Rate is 100%.
    but if I switch the dialog to be current active window after a preview window opened, keyboard input won't make the application freeze.
    It seems that crystal report preview window don't know how to deal with the keyboard input.
    BTW:
    I use the methods below to open a preview window.
    PEOpenEngine
    PEOpenPrintJob
    PEPrintReport
    have anyone here met any similiar problems before?
    I really need your help.
    thanks in advance.

    Moved to Legacy Application Development SDKs forum.
    I have nothing for you, other than; consider upgrading - after all CR 7 shipped in 1998(!). I don't know what OS you are on, but I suspect what ever OS it is, it was not even in a concept stage of thought when CR 7 shipped. E.g.; this may be an OS issue more than anything else.
    BTW., print engine APIs were retired in version 9 of Crystal Reports. At this time, your best option is to upgrade to CR 2008 (12.0)and use .NET or Java. If you are using VB 6 or equivalent, you could still upgrade to CR XI r2 (11.5) and use the Report Designer Component (RDC). However, note that CR XI r2 will be out of support in June of this year. And CR XI R2 is the last version of CR to include the RDC.

  • Closing Report Preview window closes all parent windows

    I have a form 6.0 calling a report 6.0 with several user parameters using run_report_object in preview mode. After the finishing previewing, the user closes the report preview window. Then the preview window closes all the parent windows.
    Need help!
    1) The parameters are char, date and number types.
    2) I don't have a parameter form. I take out the high-light of the parameters on the parameter form and the parameter form title.
    3) I have several user parameters and without the parameter form i'm still able to pass the parameters from the Form.
    Thanks

    report_other parameter can only take 255? characters.
    I use create parameter list and add_parameter instead.

I am thinking it is something simple that I have just missed...

    The "Photos" view has been replaced by the Media Browser.
    Most applications will show you the Photos icon in the Sidebar, when you need to select photos in a file chooser dialoge. Mail, Safari, the iWork apps. See Terence Devlin's User Tip: How to Access Files in iPhoto
    For example, in the File > Open dialogue in Preview I am seeing this in the sidebar.

  • Help! How can I lay out forms?

    Hi:
    I've tried everything and I just can't get Java to lay out a form for me.
    I'm currently using TableLayout:
    http://www.clearthought.info/software/TableLayout/
    I expect the buttons to be in the bottom right hand corner of the form.
    Only one shows up and it's apparantly over top the other one. They're at the top of the form.
    What am I doing wrong?
    public static void main(String[] args)
            btnOne = new JButton(" One ");
            btnOne.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(80, 25));
            btnTwo = new JButton(" Two ");
            btnTwo.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(80, 25));
            lbOne = new JLabel("Top Label");
            lbTwo=  new JLabel("Second Label");
           double size[][] =
                {{TableLayout.FILL, 200},
                 {0.05, TableLayout.FILL, 25}};
            pnExt = new JPanel(new TableLayout(size));
            pnExt.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(775, 575));
            double sizeLbl[][] =
                {{250},
                 {0.05, TableLayout.FILL, 25}};
            pnLabel = new JPanel(new TableLayout(sizeLbl));
            pnLabel.add(lbOne, "0, 0, l, t");
            pnLabel.add(lbTwo, "0, 0, l, t");
             double sizeBtn[][] =
                {{150},
                 {TableLayout.FILL, 25, 25}};
            pnButtons = new JPanel(new TableLayout(sizeBtn));
            pnButtons.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(125, 550));
            pnButtons.add(btnOne, "0, 1, r, b");
            pnButtons.add(btnTwo, "0, 2, r, b");
            pnExt.add(lbOne, "0, 0, l, t");
            pnExt.add(pnLabel, "0, 1, l, t");
            pnExt.add(pnButtons, "1, 0");
            fme = new JFrame("My Test");
            fme.setSize(800, 600);
            fme.getContentPane().add(pnExt, BorderLayout.WEST);
            fme.show();
        }

    I've never used TableLayout, but here is some code for a common situation. Suppose you want components arranged like this:
    label component (say text field or button)
    label component
    label component
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class LayoutExample {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            JPanel p = new JPanel(new GridBagLayout());
            GridBagConstraints gbc = new GridBagConstraints();
            gbc.fill = GridBagConstraints.HORIZONTAL;
            gbc.anchor = GridBagConstraints.NORTH;
            gbc.insets = new Insets(0,5,0,0);
            //row 0
            gbc.gridy = 0;
            gbc.gridx = 0;
            p.add(new JLabel("label 0", JLabel.RIGHT), gbc);
            gbc.gridx = 1;
            p.add(new JTextField("field row 0", 20), gbc);
            //row 1
            gbc.gridy = 1;
            gbc.gridx = 0;
            p.add(new JLabel("label 1", JLabel.RIGHT), gbc);
            gbc.gridx = 1;
            p.add(new JTextField("field row 1", 20), gbc);
            //row 2
            gbc.gridy = 2;
            gbc.gridx = 0;
            p.add(new JLabel("longer label 2", JLabel.RIGHT), gbc);
            gbc.gridx = 1;
            p.add(new JButton("row 2"), gbc);
            //row 3
            gbc.gridy = 3;
            gbc.weighty = 100;
            gbc.gridx = 0;
            p.add(new JLabel("label 3", JLabel.RIGHT), gbc);
            gbc.gridx = 1;
            p.add(new JButton("row 3"), gbc);
            display("LayoutExample", p);
        static void display(String title, Component c) {
            JFrame f = new JFrame(title);
            f.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            f.getContentPane().add(c);
            f.pack();
            f.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
            f.show();
    }Resize the frame. the components remain centred horizontally but anchored to the north (that's the effect of weighty).
    Of course, your mileage may vary, but don't give up on GridBagLayout. It reminds me of that 60's song, "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life (get yourself and ugly wife)"...

  • Back Ground Job- Lay out settings

    Hi Frnds,
      We will be executing some big reports in the Back ground  , now before executing the report i have to select the Lay out , is there any option for this .??
    And when i execute the report in back ground i get the data Page wise , but when i execute the report in foreground , i get the report continuous in one page .
    Is there any option of getting that report continuously in one page when i execute in back ground ??
    Regards
    Rakesh

    Hi Rakesh
    Output of background program are totally based on Printer settings you have selected.
    Take help of your BASIS team to configure a new printer specially for background job, which can display full report in one page.
    Basis team is only responsible for it.

  • BBP_SOCO_APP_ITEM_COMPL_MAIL - complete mail lay-out

    Hello,
    We had to customize the BBP_SOCO_APP_ITEM_COMPL_MAIL completion text. However there is one more requirement. The paragraphs and lay-out configured and previewed in transaction SE61 is not recieved in the e-mail. The mail contains a PDF (which is a bit strange already from my perspective) but most importantly the text is included without any paragraphs.
    How come? is there a work-around?
    Kind regards,
    Tim

    resolved.. Had a bright moment and concluded it does insert a paragraph but it needs two paragraphs to clear a line.
    However i'm still interested in knowing why SAP choose to use a PDF attachment in this particular case. Wouldn't the text as regular e-mail text be better?
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Memory Full error when using Main Report Preview in VStudio 2010

    Framework 4.0.30319
    VStudio 10.0.20.219.1
    SAP Version- 13.0.2000.0
    CR 2008 on local machine- 12.2.0.290
    I don't get memory full error when I run the report with my locally installed cr 2008.  If I go into my visual studio and do a main report preview I get memory full error.
    I get this error running same report in cr 2008- MochiKit is undefined.  An error has occurred in the script on this page.  file:///c:/Program%20(x86)Business%20Objects/Common/4.0/Crystalreportviewers12/js/crviewer/html.js
    I can get past that error and report works fine.  I can take the rpt file in vs2010 and it runs from the aspx page with the viewer.  But I ca't do a preview from the editing of the rpt file.
    Any way to trouble shoot where the memory problem is when doing a preview? Makes it really hard to test other dlls when it does this.

    Are you a Developer or QA or end user? Have you discussed this with your Developer at all? We seem to keep going around in circles. Your Developer should know what he did and how to deploy your app and CR assemblies and what to use.
    Subject line is VS 2010, CR for VS 2010 is the only version supported in VS 2010. CR 2008 doesn't have 64 bit runtime. therefore it's not an option, your WEB Servers app pool MUST run in 32 bit mode only if you are using CR 2008.
    "If I install the 64 bit version of SAP CR. Should the assembly change in the aspx files? different version number?" Nothing in your app, just deploy the 64 bit runtime and set your app pool to run in 64 bit mode.
    If you are using CR for VS 2010 then you can run your WEB server in 64 bit mode and use CR for VS 2010 64 redist files on your WEB server. Then all DB Drivers, Printers and anything else MUST be installed in 64 bit versions. This includes what ever dependencies your UFL has, they too must also support 64 bit platform.
    NO Additional requirements to be done or used for 64 bit WEB applciations, just requires IIS App Pool to be run in 64 bit mode and all dependencies available in 64 bits. ODBC DSN is created using the 64 bit ODBC Administrator, Printers support 64 bit applications.
    And your UFL and any of it's dependencies must be located in as well as GAC'd if it's required, once again check with your UFL developer:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64
    I suggest you purchase a support case and work with one of our Rep's to sort this out.

  • Problems and Issues in Laying Out Our Journal

    Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post. On your advice, I have decided to persist in my efforts in making a template for our Law Journal using InDesign. There are several remaining issues I have though which, though small perhaps, are fairly critical. Perhaps someone might give me some guidance on this.
    I am not sure which overall compilation method I should use. Ie) Either placing the individual word documents in or making a 'book' out of the individual articles. I would use whichever method can provide for the following conditions:
    1) Continuity of page numbers. The first article should start at 1, and page numbers should NOT restart at the beginning of each article.
    2) Continuity of footnotes. Foot notes SHOULD restart at 1 at the beginning of each article.
    3) Page headers. Left side pages will have the page number and name of the Journal. Right page headers are to have the page number and the name of the current article. Would it be best to use different masters with the corresponding page headers on them? Would this maintain the above mentioned page and footnote continuities?
    4) As per usual in books, there should be no page numbers on each article title page, which should always be starting on a right page.
    5) Use of masters. Currently I have single masters pages set up for the half-title page
    So, these are the issues which I have. I don't know how to incorporate these items in the template. It is fairly important that I have a good working template in order to avoid having to re-do all this work for each volume, as the person in charge of layout will change from year to year and likely not have the time to learn the ins and outs of InDesign. Any help on these issues would be wonderful!
    Thanks!

    I lay out an academic journal. This is my method:
    Take in Word docs. Check style names to make them reasonably conform to style names in InDesign template. (They're case sensitive.)
    Word tables are imported into a separate InDesign template that makes it easier to tweak them before re-inserting into article.
    Word figures are saved as PDF/redone in Illustrator.
    In InDesign, I open a blank file from a template and place the article, mapping Word style names to InDesign style names. I fine-tweak the tables in a separate InDesign file and place those pages into these pages.
    I save each article in a separate file, make a pdf to send out for proofing.
    After the first round of proofing, which includes the authors, I make corrections and put together a book according to the TOC.
    For the second round of proofing and for production, I make a pdf of the book.
    After production, I supply individual article pdfs for archiving.
    The template has 3 master pages: one for the article opener, one (spread) for the main pages, and one for blank pages that has only the page number and no running heads. The template has 16 pages and I add pages in multiples of 4 if needed, or delete pages that aren't used.
    I did one year with the entire issue in one file, but I found the book method much more efficient. Page numbering and footnote numbering is no problem.
