Recommendation for a good "TO DO" app for Desktop/iPhone sync

HI,
Can someone please recommend a good app for syncing desktop to iphone to do list.
Thank you.

There is a nice free application that I use. It is Zenbe Lists. It actually syncs with a free web account that can be accessed from your desktop. Maybe not what you're looking for, but what do you have to lose if it's free? Good luck!

which is the best usb 3 hub recommended for desktop?

I have a Sonnet PCi USB3 card for my MacPro, and a Sonnet USB3 Express Card 34 for my MacBookPro, and they work properly on Lion 10.7.4. However, when I use a powered four-plug USB 3 hub, the card reader that worked directly to the Sonnet cards, now is not detected when used through the hub. I think that what I need is a Hub Driver that works with Lion 10.7.4...
I would suggest contacting Sonnet directly with that question. I spent over a year with their PCIe card trying to get it to work reliably in two Mac Pro's with 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8 and never succeeded because of the drivers, which are really modified LaCie drivers. Switching to a CalDigit card solved the problem. I don't use hubs so I don't know if the CalDigit would work with them, but I suspect that adding a USB 3.0 hub to the mix would only make shaky (in my experience at least) drivers even shakier.

  • Recommendations for desktop set

Years ago I had a Logitech Laser M5300 wireless keyboard and mouse set for my iMac, which I later used with my MBP 13" and sold with it in 2010.
I just got a new Corei5 Mini and like a fool, I got a "Mighty Mouse" with it.
It wasn't so mighty... completely failing last week. It now occupies a comfy spot in the local landfill beneath tons of garbage and dirt.
I'm looking at a Logitech rechargable track pad http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mac-trackpad?crid=1488 and solar keyboard http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-solar-keyboard-k750-mac?crid=1489.
Anyone used either or both of these?
Anyone recommend anything else and why?

Well almost any mouse will work with the mac mini to be honest just like a pc...only if it needs drivers, you will have to contact the manufacturer and ask them if there is a mac version of the software.
I have always personally been a fan of Razer product. Me being a gamer and all haha. Durable, functional, responsive. Look at a DeathAdder and a keyboard of your choice. Good brand.
If you are looking at logitech, i have never really used any of their mice apart from a 10 dollar cheap-o at the supermarket. Mainly because i don't have time for cheap plastic things.
Let me know what you think.

  • Firefox home for the iPhone sync's initially but, it does not continue to sync after that. Is there something wrong with firefox sync or an issue with my app?

Once firefox on the computer is closed for the first time after sync is setup it will not longer sync to the iPhone. I have tried deleteing and reading account several times. I refresh the app on iPhone. Nothing will work. One the initial sync is complete. Thats it.

hello, mozilla has [https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2012/08/31/retiring-firefox-home/ stopped development & further support for firefox home] on ios devices halve a year ago. as an alternative you might want to try the following app & see if it is fixing the issue: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bookmarks-on-the-go/id550037184

  • Recommendations for an iPhone 3G signal amplifier or antenna??

My new iPhone 3G happens to be getting 1/2 of a bar worth of cellular signal (on the 3G network) in the same place my old iPhone got a full signal when it was using the Edge network?? I've confirmed that this is due to an apparent lack of 3G coverage in the particular location I am trying to use the cell phone by simply switching off the 3G option on my new iPhone, at which point I get full bars and a much clearer reception...
I would hate to have to manually switch back and forth between Edge and 3G on a regular basis in order to use my phone, so until some App developer releases a program that would allow me to have some sort of an automatic switch from Edge to 3G based on my location, I was hoping that someone might be able to recommend a compatible 3G signal amplifier/antenna that would boost my 3G network coverage?
Does anyone know of such a device that would work with the iPhone 3G (specifically to increase/enhance its 3G network connection range/visibility)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Bars on 3G do not equal bars on EDGE

  • How do I delete an app from my iPhone sync screen

I'm trying to clean out some old, unwanted apps that I have deleted from my iPhone.  When I sync and click on the 'App' tab, ALL my old apps show up, and, of course, the ones checked are the ones I want to keep on my iPhone 3GS.  But I have all this other junk I want to delete forever.  I've tried highlighting and hitting delete or dragging the app (but don't have anywhere to drag it to on my PC with Microsoft XP.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks,

In the LEFT pane of iTunes, you can see under your library "Apps"...
Delete it from there, and you're free !

  • Iphoto for the iPhone 4

Is it possible to create different photo albums for on the iPhone 4? If so, how is it done? FOB

With iPhoto on your Mac. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, choose selected albums, events, etc. for syncing with iPhoto followed by selecting the iPhoto albums and events below followed by a sync.

  • How do I install an app. on my Iphone again ?

Yesterday I plugged my iphone to the pc, and it said I needed to upgrade it to ios 4.0. I did, and suddenly i pressed on something, and it deleted everything on my phone, including contacts and app.
So how do I install the app. I have bought on my phone again ???

All 3rd party apps on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer if you had Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. With this selected for your iPhone sync preferences, after downloading an app with your iPhone the app will be copied to your iTunes library automatically the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.
You can re-download 3rd party apps with iTunes on your computer and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally.
After re-downloading the apps with iTunes on your computer, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by selecting the apps below that you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.

  • New Windows 7 machine - iPhone sync wants to erase all my apps...

I just reinstalled win 7, but have a complete backup prior to my restore.
When syncing aps, itunes now wants to remove all the apps from my phone !!!!
Can I not reverse sync and bring all the apps from my phone to my pc without loosing any aps or their data ?
Alternatively, how can I take my old backup and app files form my previous win 7 machine and restore to my new machine / keep my phone in sync ?
I wonder what it is going to do to my other data like contacts, notes etc ?

All 3rd party apps on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer, and they will be with Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. If so and your complete backup of your iTunes library was done per the instructions per this link, no iTunes content on your iPhone will or should be erased with the first sync with iTunes on your re-installed operating system. How many times have you already paid that Microsoft tax? If this was the first time with this computer, it won't be the last, so for future reference backup your iTunes library per the simple instructions included with this link next time.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
No iTunes content on your iPhone is included with your iPhone's backup - no music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, or 3rd party apps. All iTunes content on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. 3rd party app settings and data created and stored by a 3rd party app is included with your iPhone's backup.
If the apps on your iPhone are not in your iTunes library, with your iPhone connected and without syncing at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. After confirming all apps on your iPhone are now in your iTunes library, right-click on your iPhone under Devices in the iTunes source list and at the menu window that appears, select Back Up.
After the backup has completed, go to iTunes > Preferences and under the Devices tab confirm that your iPhone's backup is available.
If so, restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. Stop the syncing with iTunes immediately after your iPhone has been restored from the backup to select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by making sure all apps that were installed on your iPhone are selected below - or wait to do this immediately after the initial sync has completed to install the apps on your iPhone.
I wonder what it is going to do to my other data like contacts, notes etc ?
Although contacts and notes are included with your iPhone's backup, contacts and notes are designed to be synced with a supported application on your computer. With Windows this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events.

  • Removing apps from 2nd iphone

Just bought a second iphone. As soon as I synced it with iTunes, even though I selected the option "new phone", it transferred all the apps from my first phone onto my second! I dont want that.. the second phone will be used by my wife... Basically I want to do the following:
    1. Remove all the apps from the 2nd phone
    2. Be able to sync both the iphones on the same computer (different user accounts?)

Press on any icon on the Home screen for 3 seconds or where the app is located that you want to delete until all icons start to wiggle. The apps you can delete will have an X on the icon. Select the X to delete with a confirmation provided. You can also reposition any apps on the Home screen while all icons have the wiggle. Press the Home button when finished.
Since app apps should also be in your iTunes library, you can choose selected applications under the Applications tab for your iPhone sync preferences. Deselect the apps in the window below followed by a sync to remove the apps. You can also re-install select apps in the same way.

  • Software upgrade and all apps removed from iphone

I upgraded my iphone 3g last night and it removed all of my applications. Has this happened to anyone else? Best solution to fix it?

This has never happened to me with every firmware update released since 3rd party apps became available.
All 3rd party apps on your iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Is Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and was this selected before installing the firmware update?

  • Stop default photo app opening when iPhone 3GS plugged in

I'm new to iPhone, but not to Macs. When I plug my 3GS into my MacBook, it auto-opens both iTunes and Canon Image Browser (which years ago I set as my default image capture app, because I prefer it to iPhoto). I don't want Image Browser to open every time I plug the phone in - how can I stop it doing this?

Your default app for importing photos from a digital camera will launch automatically when any digital camera is connected to your Mac. Your iPhone is detected as a digital camera when connected if there are any photos in the camera roll, which should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
I use iPhoto for photo storage and after the import process is complete, I delete all photos from the camera roll. If I want any of the recently imported photos available on my iPhone for viewing, I add the photos to an existing iPhoto album that I've selected to be transferred to my iPhone under the Photos tab for my iPhone sync preferences, or create a new iPhoto album followed by a sync.
To prevent your chosen photo importing app from launching automatically when any digital camera is connected to your Mac including when connecting your iPhone when there are photos in the camera roll, launch the Image Capture application located in your Applications folder. Go to Image Capture preferences and select none or no application for automatically launch when a digital camera is connected.

  • How to re-download apps to 3GS iPhone?

My Step-Mom just exchanged her old iPhone 3GS to a new iPhone 3GS. She did not backup her phone to iTunes. The new phone is completely "raw", is there a way she can automatically download all of her apps to her new iPhone? I was told in another forum she needs to download them one by one. She has over 4 pages of apps. Is there a simpler way, maybe taking the phone into an Apple store?
    Please let me know.
    Thank you.

All iTunes content that was on her old 3GS should be in her iTunes library on her computer including 3rd party apps. Sync Apps should have been selected under the Apps tab for her iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. With this selected, after an app is downloaded with the iPhone, the app would have been copied to her iTunes library on her computer the first time she synced her iPhone with iTunes after doing so. The same applies with music.
If her iTunes library does not include any of her apps, she didn't have Sync Apps selected for her iPhone sync preferences and the only way to get the apps back is to re-download all apps one by one - with iTunes on her computer. Follow this by selecting Sync Apps under the Apps tab for her iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and select the apps in the window below she wants installed on her iPhone followed by a sync. She will not be charged again for a purchased app as long as she uses the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally.
An Apple Store cannot change or do anything about this.

  • Looking for a good music player app

    Hi.
I have a problem. i'm looking for a good music player app for my new iphone (which i will buy my next month) in terms of playing music. after having 3 phones in the last 9 months i'm still unhappy.
Had a Samsung Galaxy Ace. sound was above average but due to underpowered processor + RAM (and Samsung stating they won't update the software anymore) i had to sell it.
Than had a Sony Ericcson Xperia Neo but felt the sound was "flat" and bland" and left me disappointed and uninspired coming from a well-known phone maker know for its audio & visual expertise.
Now, i currently have the HTC Desire S. umm although the sound was "Ok" with its usual pre-set equalizers (common among Android phones) and SRS sound enhancement it felt me wanting more and although i have the phone for a week now i would say "so far-so good."
but i heard the best music phones out there are those with either Beats Audio (which are very brand new) or the ones with Dolby Mobile.
had an iPod touch (4th-gen) and i was amazed and impressed by the sound quality.
so, if i can get away with a good music player app that recreates surround sound, has good preset EQ's along with customisable ones and one with Dolby-like support which app would you recommend?
    Thank you.

Stock lock screen does not normally support 3rd party widgets so you wont find any third party players that allows you access while on lock screen..  As for the player I perfer Meridian Media Player Revolute from https://market.android.com/details?id=org.iii.romulus.meridian&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm9yZy5paWkucm9tdWx1cy5tZXJpZGlhbiJd

  • Looking for a good Password Manager App for the iPhone

I'm looking for a good and reliable Password Manager App for the iPhone with sync capabilities on macs. I've read several reviews on several different apps on iTunes, and either they don't work properly, or they're a rip off, or they just don't sync or all of the above. Any recommendations?
    Thanks in advance.

I've been very happy with 1Password, though I haven't used the iPhone component (not having an iPhone).
