Recommendations for Software that Reports on KPIs - CUCM

Greetings,
I am curious what folks use to monitor/manage prescribed KPIs in their Cisco UC environment. I am looking at the common KPIs (uptime, trunk utilization, various QoS items) and I would also like to monitor Normal Call Termination, Dropped/Failed calls, answer seizure ratio, trunk group availability ratio, etc..
Getting raw data isn't an issue. My customer wants something that will track key performance indicators daily, monthly, and quarterly. So, the tool needs to be able to trend. I have found a couple of tools to cover the basis w/ some manual intervention to plug gaps. I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a single tool that covers all bases well.

Hello Bill - I too struggle with this type of daily, monthly, quarterly reporting for CUCM. You mentioned you found a couple tools, though - do you mind sharing with the community what those are?

If you have a MacBook, it should have come with iLife. iLife includes iMovie and iDVD. These should do the job nicely, even older versions of them.

Photos does not support external editing like iPhoto. Is there likely to be an upgrade to change this or will I abandon Photos for software that does support editing in Photoshop?

iPhoto does work and there is an upgrade:
Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Looking for software that allows CMS integration with InDesign.

Looking for catalog production people who have already found a solution to this problem.
We have a content management system that serves as our data warehouse for our catalog and product information. This data includes information from Marketing, Accounting, and Engineering and is used with our on line catalog and data extracts for customers. Our goal is to extend the use of this system to include an interface to the printed catalog process.
Immediate goal would be to provide keyed access by product key into InDesign for pricing and technical specifications. Design staff needs to have keyed access to additional catalog information used in the catalog sections, headings, and product descriptions including bullets and paragraph information.
We are looking for software that can act as a "bridge" between InDesign and our CMS. We need a software company that can provide training and support for the InDesign users and documentation allowing IT to support new processes including the possible use of apple scripting and automator scripts.
Our IT staff has the database skills to manage and change the CMS database as needed by this project including custom tables and views. Our CMS is available using a MySql server running on Lunix. This is a dynamic copy of our primary CMS from a DB2/400 server.
We have looked at a variety of software packages, but I have found you learn so much more when you actually USE the software. I would like to avoid any more expensive dead ends.

Looking for Software that will preview thumbnails of all pages Indesign documents (like Bridge)

I am trying to build a library of documents. But the problem is, I have to open each document in Indesign to see what's in it. Does anyone know of a preview type of software that will work with indesign documents, and PowerPoint Documents. Kinda like bridge, but will let me preview all of the pages in each document?

If you want it for archive disks that are offline CD Finder / Winder does InDesign previews too. Avoid having to load DVD/Tapes/whatever archival media of choice.

Recommendations for software for symbolic logic

I've been googling quite a bit but have so far not found anything which seems quite right. I thought I would ask here on the off chance that somebody might have experience with this type of software.
I'm looking for software which might be useful in the teaching of symbolic logic e.g. propositional and predicate calculus, symbolisation, truth tables, proofs etc. I don't necessarily need a single piece of software to do all of these things. In fact, right now, something which might help students with any one of these things would be entirely satisfactory. I need something to demonstrate the potential of such software to interested parties rather anything comprehensive.
The software must be such that it can be translated into another language (insofar as it involves English and not just symbols, of course). This is one reason that a simpler piece of software which focused on a particular aspect of logic might be ideal - less to translate!
Ideally, it should be usable through a virtual learning environment but for my current purposes this is somewhat less important.
Right now, it needs to work on Linux and it doesn't much matter whether it works on anything else since I'm only demonstrating. But, of course, if I can say it would work on Windows, that would probably count in its favour.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

That's probably a bit too mathematical for philosophy students - the proofs in the screenshots aren't set out the way they usually appear in the systems of natural deduction philosophy intro students use. Definitely the right sort of thing, though. Might be helpful for a more advanced course (or one aimed specifically at maths or computing students).
I should have specified the students the course is aimed at in my original post - sorry.
EDIT: actually maybe "Fitch" style is close to what I want. I've just never heard it called that before!

Not sure about N95 compatability, however the Ordnance Survey website sells a number of applications that use their maps. Maybe one of those would do what you require.

Its really difficult to do get the installed date of the patches as there is no table available in SCCM DB to pull this info i had a requirement in the past but i was unable to do had done it via work around.
This can be done after editing of sms_def.mof file or else using the power-shell script in windows server 2008 where the powershell is a feature by default.
H/W inventory:
For the 2000 servers this has to be installed but if we enable this its mentioned it may utilize upto 100 % of the Memory during the h/w inventory you can check that in your SMS_DEF.MOF -

Need suggestions for software that can digitize and store my class notes.

As the new semester starts soon, I would like to become better organized by digitizing, organizing and storing class notes in a database style system. Ideally the software would include a simple word processor, and have a preview system somewhat similar to the Finder.
Does anybody have some suggestions?

Looking for software that mirrors Streets and Trips

Hi Everyone,
For years I've used Microsoft Streets & Trips to plan hiking trips and travel across the world. I recenty made the switch to Apple and, of course, do not regret one aspect. Except, that is, that I cannot seem to find any software packages or applications that mirror Microsoft's Streets & Trips. Does anyone know of a program that may be similar and worth a try. It's difficult to explain all of the capabilities of S&T so here is a link to the software for comparison.

If you already have the correct size inserts, and want to be creative, you can easily make your own case template using Pages(part of iWork). I like that because Pages can access photos from iPhoto. I don't have the inserts so I print my case covers to the size needed and cut the paper to fit.
