Reconciled amounts appears in vendor aging report

Dear all,
When we take report for reconciled transactions,reconciled amounts appears in
aging days(Suppose we have ap invoice in 0-30 days and payments made in 30-60 days it's
already reconciled)
Why it is showing in reconciled aging report ?

Dear,
would like to recommend you to refer to the following note: 1228363-Business Partner Balance does not match journal entries。
In any SAP Business One version lower than 2007, 2 separate
reconciliation engines were employed. One reconciliation engine worked
on the marketing document level, where partial reconciliation was
supported & the other worked on the journal entry level, where only
complete reconciliation was supported.
This duality led in some instances to reconciliation inconsistencies
which were initially highlighted with SAP Business One version 2004
patch level 29, where the red message 'Business Partner balance does not
match journal entries' was displayed when running the ageing report by
sales documents & inconsistencies were detected.
In the year end closing guides (available for download from the
Documentation Resource Centre) SAP have always recommended to run the
ageing reports by journal posting.
In 2006, SAP published note 752261, now retired, documenting the system
behaviour & offering a series of 'Select' queries to aid in
reconciliation inconsistency analysis. These queries were an excellent
tool but now SAP can offer a faster, better & more accurate solution.
In SAP Business One 2007 A & B the reconciliation engines have been
unified & partial reconciliation on journal entry level is now fully
supported. Any database that is upgraded from a lower version undergoes
a complex series of reconciliation upgrade algorithms, where any
reconciliation inconsistency is identified & a reconciliation upgrade
(RU) journal entry is automatically created. This RU journal does not
document any accounting transaction, but simply creates an update in the
'Balance Due' column, thus notionally re-openeing previously
inconsistently reconciled transactions.
These RU journals are then available for internal reconciliation.

tools. SAP recommends to subject a database that is planned to be
upgraded
This upgrade simulation tool employs all internal reconciliation upgrade
algorithms & the application will display in the 'Internal
Reconciliation Upgrade Audit Trail Report' if a database is affected by
inconcistencies.
Hence, if the message 'Business Partner Balance does not match Journal
Entries' is encountered, proceed as follows:
Option 1:
Upgrade database to SAP Business One 2007 & internally reconcile any RU
journals.
Option 2:
Go to the IRU landing page & download the 'IRU pre-upgrade tool' either
for version 2007A or 2007B, depending on your localisation. Follow the
installation instructions & after successful installation & simulated
upgarde of the database, analyse any inconsistencies appearing with the
help of the How-to-guide. Should a type of inconsistency not have a drop
down arrow & be described as 'Balancing upgrade journal transaction',
the comapny accountant may decide to write it off, should the amount be
insignificant or, if the amount is not insignificant, please log a
support ticket with the component:

    Hi Saurav Gupta,
    the ageing report allows you to pinpoint open transactions at a particular date.
    Consider this:
    System Date (Today) : 08.08.2011
    Ageing date 01.08.2011
    Invoice Posting date: 20.07.2011, due date : 31.07.2011
    Payment Date for invoice 02.08.2011
    You allow documents to be considered up to the ageing date.
    -> The invoice above, although fully paid, will be shown as overdue since you are ignoring all transactions after the ageing date. As far as the report is concerned, the payment hasn't happened yet.
    With these options, the invoice will be shown as well:
    System Date (Today) : 08.08.2011
    Ageing date 01.08.2011
    Invoice Posting date: 20.07.2011, due date : 31.07.2011
    Payment Date for invoice 02.08.2011
    You allow documents to be considered up to the system date & choose to display reconciled transactions.
    -> all documents up to today will be taken into consideration, meaning that both the invoice & the payment are shown in the report.
    To see the true open documents today, choose these parameters:
    System Date (Today) : 08.08.2011
    Ageing date 08.08.2011
    You allow documents to be considered up to the system date & have all tickboxes unchecked.
    Also, please upgrade your system at the earliest convenience, you are using a very old version.

  • Reconciled transactions appearing in customer aging report

    Hi all,
    I have 2 Invoices amount to 2000 rs say 1000 rs each.I received a payment of 1900 rs i.e a 100 rs less for the 2 invoices.My accountant has recorded this in the following manner that he has selected both the invoices and an "On account" payment of -100, so the entire transaction got balanced.As a result both the invoices are closed as well.
    Now my question is ....can we treat this a reconclied trasaction or an Un-reconciled trasaction.Will these both invoices appear in the customer aging report if we select "display reconciled trasactions" option.

    Which SAP B1 Version and Patch is under use at your end ?
    There were issues in SAP B1 regarding reconcilliations in versions prior to 2007 series.

  • Vendor ref. no. not appearing in print preview of vendor aging report

    Dear all,
    Vendor reference number is not appearing in print preview of vendor ageing report,we have
    customized template AGE3 collection report,we have taken print outs before a month,vendor
    reference number get printed in report,now it is not appearing
    What could be problem ?
    Any one faces this issue ?
    We are using SAP Business One 2005 B (7.40.252)  SP: 00  PL: 41.
    Latest patch upgrade to PL:46 will solve the issue ?

    hi all,
    Thru a workaround i brought up vendor reference number in print preview/print,
    Applied formatted search in  journal remarks of ap invoice thru query
    SELECT $[OPCH.NumAtCard]
    ,this will populate vendor ref. no in journal remarks
    which can be displayed in details in aging report.
    Is there any solution other than above to bring vendor reference number in print ?

  • Vendor Aging Report

    Hi All
    i am trying to get a legitimate vendor Aging report from within SAP
    The 2 reports that I am currently looking at are:
    S_ALR_87012085 - Vendor Payment History with OI Sorted List
    S_ALR_87012084 - Open Items - Vendor Due Date Forecast
    But both these do not bring out the output the way i want it - and i tried changing the output control and it still doesnt bring out the report as i want it - I want a report like the S_ALR_87012178 for customers, with output control 1, 6 and a 0 - which gives me a logical list of the aged customers.
    Is there one like this for vendors too? Any suggestions?

    Hi Ruksaana,
    You can customize the vendor report to show the items overdue per vendor by using the following steps
    1. Create a form using T Code - FKI4
        In this form ( two-axis structure) provide the details for each column as per your Client requirement - Due from 0 - 30 days
        etc. You can create a column (using formula method) at the end by adding the previous columns, this will give you total     
        amount of overdue items for each vendor
    2. Create a report using T Code - FKI1
        Based on the Form created in the above step. Make additional selections based on  client  requirements like document type,
        company code, account type, currency etc. Execute the report.

    When i execute report S_ALR_87012078, it gives me short dump saying :
    A PERFORM was used to call the routine "START" of the program "SAPMKCBR ".The current call contains 7 actual parameter(s),but the routine "START" expects 9 parameters.

    Generally aging report shows the items due by the vendor for specific dates, like for a month, 2 months, 3 months etc. As long as the item is in open status, the same will appear in the aging report.
    There are SAP standard Aging reports which will give clarity

  • Customized Vendor Aging Report

    Dear Experts,
    We had developed a customized Vendor Aging Crystal Report as on Date for one of our customer which is similar to SAP's Vendor Liabilities Aging, just a minor change we have been done in our report for calculating the due date of AP Invoice only for the document type as Item, from AP Invoice document date to GRPO's posting date.
    So to build this report we had consider following transactions AP Invoice, AP Credit Memo, AP Down Payment Invoice, Outgoing Payment, Incoming Payment & Journal Entry and also we had concluded following scenario's:-
    AP Invoice based on GRPO
    Standalone AP Invoice's Item / Service.
    AP Invoice adjusted against AP Credit Memo.
    AP Invoice knocked off against Reconciliation.
    AP Credit Memo based on AP Invoice
    AP Credit Memo standalone Item /Service
    AP Credit Memo adjusted against Outgoing Payment
    AP Credit Memo knocked off against Reconciliation
    AP Down Payment Invoice - Open.
    Outgoing Payment - On Account
    Outgoing Payment - Against Transaction.
    Outgoing Payment - Direct Knocked off in Reconciliation.
    Incoming Payment - On Account
    Incoming Payment - Direct Knocked off in Reconciliation.
    Journal Entry - Adjusted and Unadjusted
    After considering all the possible scenario which do have impact with Vendor has been covered but still our report gets failed to tally with SAP Vendor Liabilities Aging Report on back dated date specially with reco happened transaction which get failed on comparison with Input parameter date against transaction date and reconciled date.
    Please refer the attachment contains Store Procedure of this report. We would highly appreciate and thankful if some one could help us in optimizing our store procedure which could get tallied with SAP Vendor Liabilities Aging Report.

  • Vendor Ageing Report in SAP B1 8.8 Version

    Hi All,
              I am using SAP B1 8.8 Version.
             I have generated Vendor Ageing Report for all Vendors. In this report I found few vendors are appearing multiple times with different Ageing values. I wanted to know why this happend???

  • Vendor ageing report(urgent)

    in vendor ageing report i am getting the data for the vendors with open item only means those vendors who have to pay depending on the parameter date which we r passing
    in selection screen.
    but i  want all those records with cleared item also depending on that date.
    means suppose there r 2 vendors
    1.sanjeev-he has to pay 1000 but he has paid 500 and left
    with 500 due.
    2. amit -he has to pay 1000 and he had not paid anything till now.
    so when i am executing my report it is showing only
    sanjeev 500
    amit 1000
    but i need
    sanjeev 1000
    amit 1000
    to be displayed but as sanjeev has already paid 500
    so it is not showing the output as above.
    so how it could be achieved

  • Vendor Aging Report to show zero balance does not show all vendors

    Hi all,
    I would like to see a list of all my vendors in the Vendor Aging Report. I clicked on show vendors with zero balance, however, I still only get a partial list of the vendors. Is there a setting I need to set to show all the vendors? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    I think your requirement is you want all vendors displayed irrespective of the transactions entered for that Business Partner.
    The Aging Report will display only those BPs which have transactions posted to them.
    The function of 'Display Vendors with zero balance' checkbox is that it behaves like a selection creteria and leads to inclusion
    of all those Business Partners who do not have a balance as of the current date but had a balance on the selected backdate.
    example :
    If a vendor has a balance as on 01.08.08 and is paid on 10.08.08, then the vendor will not be included in aging report (when run on 01.08.08) unless "Include Vendors with zero balance" is checked.
    This checkbox does not allow you to display all the vendors created in the database.
