Reconnecting a offline clip besides the way they show you.

i lost some of my clips, i tried to reconnecting them but they wont connect, does any one know how to reconnect offline clips

i just got a new system and the video clips are on 2 external hard drives, there are red lines threw the clips, in the window, it says media offline in red. i clicked on the file n went to reconnect, located the clip n then clicked to choose but once it goes back to the first box where it is sopossed to drop to the bottom box nothing happen n i have to cancel out because it just dose nothing.

I am trying to install MS Office.man 2011 and when I get prompted to go get the activation code on line I have to log on with my windows live id. I have a lot of various book mark folders with websites contained within each folder. I am able to sort the websites within each folder alphabetically by name but I cannot find a way to sort the bookmark folders themselves alphabetically by name.I am not talking about in a view mode but in the way they are displayed when I click on my bookmarks tab. Can someone explain to me how to accomplish this other than manually dragging them as this is extremely hard for me due to the fact that I am a quadriplegic with limited hand movement dexterity
Bookmark folders that you created are in the Bookmarks Menu folder. "Sort" that folder.

InDesign CS6 - Default display is high-quality. All four placed images are Illustrator files. Three images look the way they should - high-quality. One image looks pixelated. Why?
Not sure if this will help, but what is your inDesign file's "Transparency Blend Space" set to? It's under the edit menu.
Also, when you are placing your images, are you selecting "Show Import Options" and making any selections there? -
After upgrading to ios7 my Outlook 2010 contacts on my Windows 7 desktop were moved to the cloud. Is there a way I can return Outlook Contacts to the way they were before the upgrade?

I merge projects in aperture, it works fine until aperture restarts. After aperture restarts, the projects are no longer merged, and are back the way they were. Can anyone suugest how to make the merge permanent?
I tried the first aid tasks but the issue is still there. I have more info now though. It's not a problem with merging.
The problem is that new projects are being generated everytime aperture starts (with the same name, ie 01, 02.... and 01 (1), 02 (1) .....)
When aperture start, it shows "importing". When I click on importing, it goes into the activity box. In the activity box, has many lines as below. The added projcts are all empty. It's annoying because i have many useless projects being generated. -
How can I make my bookmarks appear the way they do in Explorer?
Because I have many folders and subfolders, I'd like to open my bookmarks and have them stay open rather than having to continually scroll through all the folders every time I want to open another bookmark within the same subfolder.

There was no "View Bookmarks Sidebar" under the "Bookmarks" button. I DID find it under the "View" button. Unfortunately, I never thought to look under "View" for the bookmarks.
So, for others looking for what I was, I went to View/Sidebar/Bookmarks which DOES open a list of bookmarks on the left side of the page. Now I just need to extract all my bookmarks from the folder titled "From Internet Explorer" and reorganize them the way they were in IE (rather than alphabetically as they are now after importing them). I'll save that task for when I have much more time on my hands. -

Right now I am guessing at what you seek. Are you trying to use your HP Touch Screen to do your
Premiere Elements importing, editing, and exporting and the Touch Screen movements are not working
to do what you want to do in Premiere Elements?
Have you configured the HP computer Touch Screen? Using the Touch Screen, what cannot you do
that you can do with the mouse?

If I am guessing correctly here, does the mouse work instead of the Touch Screen to allow you to
work in the program.
I suspect that Premiere Elements does not support Touch Screen and you will end up using a mouse, but I would need to do more homework on

All my photos are importing out of order. For example, if I have images 1,2,3, and 4.., the order they show up in is 2,1,4,3. What could cause this and any ideas how I fix it?
One thing, don;t think of them as being imported in any one particular order.
The order of the images is completely fluid, you can change it anytime you want to suit your needs at that particular moment.
As Léonie showed you select the order you want to see the images in by selecting the item you want to sort on in the pull-down.
The only time fluid sort order can be a problem is when you export groups of images. If you put the images into a particular order in Aperture when you export them and view them in the Finder the order they are in may very well be different. In this case you could give names to the images that include a sequence number or index.
Then when they are viewd in the Finder they will be in them same order they were in in Aperture.

I recently had my iphone 4s screen repaired because the screen was cracked. It was all ok and then a few weeks later something strange happened. My touchscreen works, but the screen doesnt show, you can see the light in the background but no picture? has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem is, is it self-repairable or even repairable at al?
The LCD Display connector has partially come loose from the logic board connector, and simply needs to be pressed back down into place. Or the front screen assembly is now faulty, and needs to be replaced again.

How can I sync photos the way they are in subfolders?
So normally I have my photos in one main folder, which i sync with my ipod. When I do this, all my photos are in the order that the Sub-Folders appear within the main folder. This is how I've always wanted it to be, but for no apparent reason, my ipod touch now disregards the subfolders and just organizes every single photo in alphabetical order, completely throwing off any sort of organization.
What I want to know is there any way that i can sync my photos with my ipod touch so that they'll show up the same way that they appear within the subfolders, regardless of whether they're in alphabetical order or not? I can't use iPhoto due to being on a Windows PC, so that option is out the window.why can't you use the keyboard the way it is printed?

Songs on my ipod dont show up the way they do in itunes
there have been a few cds that when I add them to my iTunes library work great, but once I put them on my iPod they dont show up where they're supposed to. For example, I have The Beatles' 1 album and it shows up in iTunes:
Artist: The Beatles
Album: 1
and when I get on my iPod there is no artist for The Beatles or Beatles, The or anything. But when I look in albums I can find the 1 album and thats where all the songs are. When the songs are played, it also says that the artist is The Beatles, but it still wont show up on the artist list. The same thing has happened in other ways, like one of my cds doesnt show up under the artist or album lists but I can pick the individual songs out of the songs section. How can I fix this? it shows up correctly when the song is actually plated, and on my itunes, but they arent categorized at all.
iPod 30gbThis isn't foolproof but there are usually two things that contribute to songs not appearing under Artist on the iPod, both due to information either in or missing from the Get Info>Info tab against the song in iTunes. 1) the song is marked as part of a compilation or 2) it is missing an album name.
If the tracks are ticked in the Get Info>Info tab as part of a compilation, they will not appear under Artist on the iPod. Highlight a song in iTunes that you know is not appearing correctly on your iPod. Right click on it and choose Get Info and click the Info tab (alternatively choose Get Info from the File menu), if "Part of a Compilation" is marked untick it and afterwards update your iPod, you should find it now appears as normal. Compilations are stored in a separate folder in iTunes so the songs don't appear inside the normal Artist>Album folder which may be why this happens.
Also if tracks are missing an Album name in the Info tab, this information needs to be filled in, in the absence of one you can just add None or Miscellaneous. See this link for more detail: I don't see some of my songs when browsing by artist on my iPod -
Ps 3d and filters and save for web are not working the way they should
At work we just put cs6 on a w7 machine running 64 bit which has more than that required mem and or ram to run cs6 - unfortunately I have to use a windows based machine at work (cheapskates). Anyways. I see the 3d menus and the filter menu in PS but they aren't funtional. The filter menu drop down is there but Liquify is the only one that shows up the rest are gray. The option to choose 3d is also there but they are not functional (grayed out) - I took a look at some online tutorials on using the 3d effect in PS CS6 and Ive gone through it a few times and it still won't work for me. Also, in illustrator when I save for web - when I adjust the pixel dimensions and move the mouse over and click on the image that I am saving for web nothing happens and I'm completely boggled about how to get the image size to change in the save for web pane. Typically I am used to being able to input the the number into the pixel dimenion field and click on the image and the image resizes (on a mac you can either click on the image or hit return and the image will resize in front of your eyes!). I am unable to get this to work the way I am used to, this happens for me in both ill5 and ill6 on this piece of crap windows machine. Maybe I just need to reinstall? Maybe adobe has changed the way this works? Maybe a sledge hammer into this windows machine would solve all my problems!? IDK. someone help... help me... pleeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssseeeee

This gets a "stupid comment of the day" medal. Seriously. These days Macs are just as convoluted and effed up as Windows was a few years ago - nice as long as everything works, but god forbid you have a problem. So by all means, update your graphics driver and be glad that you actually have that choice rather than having to wait half a year for Apple to fix it...

How do I get my headings across the top of my screen back to the way they were?
I like it better when I had all the headings like: "file" "view" "bookmarks" etc. instead of the orange box that says firefox and having to go into that to get all this. My husband does not know about computers and is not on enough to remember how to do things. I just got him used to going up on the top screen and hitting these options. I would like to get that again across my screen instead of going into firefox and finding them that way. How can I do that?
