Record printing on two pages

When there is not enough space at the end of a page and record is long, part of the data is printed on next page. This seems to be default behaviour. Is there a way to print the whole of last record on next page instead of partially printing on two pages?

    I'd be happy to help with your Deskjet 2040 on your Windows 8.1 computer, I just need a bit more information to do so!
    What program are you trying to print from that it does 2 pages instead of 1? Are you printing from the Internet or using say Word?
    Where do you print PDF's from (example: do you use Adobe?)?
    What happens when you try to print them? Do you get an error? If so, what does it say?
    As you're using Windows, I'd suggest while I await your response that you try downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor and follow any suggestions it may have to offer. If it fails on anything please let me know.

  • Sales Order printing on two pages

    Hi Gurus,
    Our SAP just got upgraded to 8.81 PL07 and since then we are facing printing problems. The thing is all the sales orders and invoices are printing on two pages (when only one page is required); the second page having only the page header. Moreover the problem is only at the client location and everything is fine at the my own location/printers.
    Please help us resolve this.

  • How to "remember" data from the last or the first record printed on a page?

    I'd like to put a column value from the last record printed on the first page into a placeholder column (or whereever) to use later but I haven't found any way to do that. Trying the assignment statement with a placeholder in a format trigger causes "REP-1323: Cannot have output columns in format trigger...". Any ideas?

    I had created  P.O layout in smartforms .....when number of line items increased that time it breaks the page and footer area print on next page ....

    Your problem is when 10 items are there 3 should print in the first page and remaining 7 items should print in the next page provided footers should display in their respective pages in the bottom.
    If your requirement is correct as i specified above,
    i like to know whether you have given the footer as a part of the main window or created a seperate window for the footer?
    If you have created as part of your main window, can you please try it creating with a seperate window for the footer.

    After playing with the settings, it doesn't look like that's possible.
    My thought is that you could try the 8x10 size and cut it in half. But since you probably don't have 8x10 paper lying around, you could try doing it as a PDF.
    Try this: (Mac OSX Leopard only)
    Set up your print options in iCal, choose the 8x10 paper size, and press "Continue." Then, instead of choosing "Print," click "PDF" and "Open PDF in Preview."
    From here, you could print it on regular letter size, and trim it down for your book. Or photocopy it onto your 5x8 paper.
    I know that's not ideal, but you know, it's an option.

  • Printing Issues: Keynote only prints first two pages of presentation

    I am trying to pring an 11 page Keynote presentation on an HP 4600 color laser printer. It will only print the first 2 pages.
    If I convert the presentation to PowerPoint, it prints all ages correctly. If I print a word or pages document, all pages print correctly.
    What gives with keynote?
    MacBook Pro, 2.1 GHz   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   2 GB Ram

    It is likely that there is something funky with one of the images on the page. The next step would be to delete the images one at a time to see which one it is. Once you have isolated it, you could try saving it in a different format (e.g., TIFF, or JPEG, or PNG), and see if that solves the problem.

    It could be that you need to set the box that says: "Scale to fit media".  See this picture:

  • How do I print front and back with two pages per sheet? (OSX Lion)

    I can't find a simple solution to my situation...
    I'm using Max OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Adobe Reader X 10.1.2. 
    I want print two PDF pages onto one printed sheet, and I want to print front and back.  When I go to the print settings and select two pages per printed sheet, the sample window shows me what I'm looking for.  But when I tell it to print odd only or even only, it changes the print selection.  Here's what happens...
    Let's say I have a PDF document that is 20 pages long.  When I tell it to print two PDF pages per sheet, it shows me that the first pages printed will be PDF pages 1 and 2.  When I tell it that I want it to print odd pages only, it tells me that the first printed page will contain PDF pages 1 and 3.
    In other words, Adobe Reader wants to print the odd PDF pages instead of the odd pages of the printed document (PDF pages 1 and 2, then 5 and 6, then 9 and 10, so on).
    So that I'm being clear...
    This [  ] is a printed page.  The numbers inside the brackets represent the page numbers in the PDF document...
    What I want to print is this...
      FRONT   ||  BACK
    [1,2]    ||  [3,4]
    [5,6]    ||  [7,8]
    [9,10]   ||  [11,12]
    [13,14]  ||  [15,16]
      [17,18]  ||  [19,20]
    What would end up printing is this...

    Aside from telling it exactly which PDF page numbers to print (this would be a taxing job because I'm working with a 273 page document), is there an easy and simple way to print how I'd like?

    I would suggest to use Adobe Ilustrator. Also I get an error message when I try tp access the sample document.

    I am have been ahving problems with my creat PDF account, only printing the first two pages, when i print something to PDF from a webpage.  I.E. Pinterest.  It will only print the first two pages and the rest will be blank or incomplete.  I am at the end of my rope and dont know how to fix it.  I recently got Acrobat 9 standard thinking this may help, but the problem still exists, which irritates me more.  Please help!

  • Mac printing two pages on the same sheet of paper double-sided

    I have a large PDF file that I'm trying to save paper by printing two pages of the file on the same sheet of paper and then printing double-sided, e.g. pages 1-2 would be on the front and 3-4 on the back. I can accomplish the first part by changing the page layout, but then can't figure out how (or if) I can duplex print. Can anyone help? I'm using Adobe Reader 8.1.2 on a Mac running OS 10.4.11.

    Yes I do. Normally, I just have the printer print even pages on one side and odd on the other side. But, putting two pages on the same side fouls up that process. If I try printing odd pages, I get 1 and 3 on the front and 5 and 7 on the back, instead of what I want. Maybe I'm wanting to do something that can't be done. After I changed to the two-page layout, I thought maybe I could do a Save As PDF in the Print dialog box, but that was not allowed by Reader.

    I have created a report that is structured as such:
    Group 1 - Based on formula, groups by type
    Group 2 - Based on formula, groups by use
    Group 3 - use (pulled directly from Database)
    Group 4 - ID
    I have the report printing an extra page after group 3.  I used this formula in the Section Expert - New Page After
    remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
    I also use that formula to reset the page number
    What I would like to do is print a second blank page if group 2 does not start on the top of the page, meaning I do not want either group 3 or group 2 to start on the back of a page, so that this report can be placed in a binder, with dividers.
    I have group 3 giving me a blank page with no issues, it is just group 2.
    Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated.  If I did not give enough details, I am sorry.

    After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, not to mention a lot of curse words directed at the computer, I was able to get this to work.  Now I just have to do it for three groupings instead of two (deliver the impossible to your bosses, and they turn around and move the brass ring right out of reach again!)
    In case anyone is interested in how I was able to manage this (I found many sites where people asked this question, but not one complete answer), this is what I did:
    In the footer section:
    Group 4 - ID (database field)
    Group 3 - PrimeUse (database field)
        3a - Contains data
        3b - Contains data
        3c - New Page After, Keep Together, and Reset Page Number After are all checked.  In the condition for Reset Page Number After I also have this formula:
        remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
        3d - New Page After, Keep Together, and Reset Page Number After are all checked.  In the condition for New Page After I have this formula:
        remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
    Group 2 - Suppressed
    Group 1 - Grouped by Store Type -
        1a - Suppressed, New Page After and Keep Together are all checked.
        1b - New Page After and Keep Together are checked.  In the condition for New Page After I have to following formula:
        remainder(totalpagecount,2)=1
    If anyone sees any errors, or if you think you can get it so that I get another page blank, after Group 1, if the Group starts on an even numbered page, I would appreciate the help.

  • I am using Acrobat Reader 11.0.10 . I cant print mixed originals and also I cannot print letter size correctly . printing of first two pages ok but the rest gets cut off at the top

    How can I print from MAC with Acrobat Reader. I can't seem to get it to print correctly , first two pages of letter size works ok after the remaining pages get moved up and the printing is cut off.

    I arrived here looking for a solution!  And while reading your post the penny dropped that I didn't have a serious problem.  I have a booklet of 112 pages and all I needed to do was re-order the pages as printed so that 1 is followed by a sheet with 2 on the under-face but same side and so on.  The pages had printed back to front and needed flipping.  But then I have a duplex printer and maybe that makes a difference.  Is it to do with your manual duplexing and the order that the second pass is presented to the printer.  As my duplex sheets effectively needed flipping over each one I'm wondering if you can solve your problem with a little experimentation and re-ordering before your second pass.

    Hi, I've got a little annoyance here: I love the duplex printing feature, but the first two pages don't "duplex!" The first page prints fine but doesn't get retracted back inside, and then the second page prints upside-down on a new sheet of paper.  The rest of the document "duplexes" as expected. Is there some option I'm (not) enabling?
    I'm running Windows XP SP3, wireless printing. Also for what it's worth, everything I've duplex-printed have been PDF files.
    Hopefully there's a solution and I don't have to continue leaving the first two pages of my documents blank

    If you have blank pages in your file you must set the print dialog through print booklet to print blank pages.

    If you are using subforms, and you have -aap set to "on" you could see something like this. Put -aapoff on the merge command line. What happens is that with -aapon (print all pages)it will try to put all subforms on every page. Likewise, if you have the first page identified as jfmain, then you will get it on every page.
