Hi all Is there any smart way I can save the score and import it to Final Cut Pro X like in this movie?

As you can see it looks like the score from logic pro 9. How do I get it into Final Cut pro??
I have tried to record it with quicktime player. But it seems not to be the best option, because it is not the best quality that way.
Can anyone help me so I can make beautifull piano lessons in the future? And If you know of another program I should use instead. please let me know.

How to get the Success Factors LMS to record the quiz score for an Adobe Captivate 7 module.

I have a few questions and one outstanding issue.
My Issue:
I can’t get the score to be recorded by the Success Factors LMS.
Question 1)
I notice that the quiz reporting section in Captivate 7’s Preferences menu has a “Data To Report” section.
However, for SCORM 2004 and Tin Can, there is no option to report Quiz Score like there is for SCORM 1.2 and AICC.
Is reporting the score impossible for those reporting standards?
Question 2)
My organization is using the Success Factors LMS and I’m trying to get the score to be recorded by the LMS.
I’ve set the Published Captivate module to report the Quiz Score as a percentage (Points is unavailable to me since there are more than 100 pts),
but the LMS is recording whether the module was Complete (passed) or incomplete (not passed or yet to be completed).
Is (are) there some parameter(s) on Captivate’s side that I need to be setting for Success Factors to correctly record the score?
- Maybe Captivate (in SCORM 1.2) should be reporting the Score as points and not percentage?
- Maybe I should be using AICC?
Is (are) there some parameter(s) on Success Factor’s side to interface correctly with Captivate?
I’ve checked the Adobe forums, but I don’t see any help there and
I’ve googled the issue to the point of exhaustion and frustration.
So, I would very much appreciate the help.

Last year I worked with a customer who has the SuccessFactors LMS and, after some issues and discussions, the SF folks suggested their LMS supports AICC better than SCORM.
That stunned me a bit...
SO, sure, barring anything else, it may not hurt to try AICC!
And I think SF is also limited in their SCORM 2004 support. If going with SCORM, definitely try to get SCORM 1.2 working first.
Your settings look good to me. Maybe can't hurt to try 'points' but I'm not so sure that would work.
So you're ONLY seeing 'Completed/Incomplete' not 'passed/failed' as you'd prefer?
You're not seeing a recorded percentage at all?

How do I display the score while I'm recording?

Every time I record, the score cuts to the new track I'm recording which is blank. In the MIDI score I have the notes written out I want to sing - how do I have the program display that while I'm recording?

Looks like you've been waiting a long time for a reply on this one! Let me have a go for you.
The first thing to realise is that the score editor is hierarchical. To see what I mean, create MIDI regions on two separate software instrument tracks.
When you open the score editor, you only see one of them, unless you click on the right-angled arrow in the top left had corner of the score menu icon bar. Then you can see all the MIDI regions at the higher level (hence my reference to hierarchy. his is part of the solution you need.
The trouble is, even if you are looking at the top level, Logic changes the content of the score editor to show only the region that is being recorded. Clearly, that's no good. However, if you use the independent score window (Window > Score or press Command-3) and use hierarchies to see all regions, you can crack this quite easily.
Use the separate score window and the hierarchy button and you should be able to do all you need - I've just tried it and it works OK.

How to adjust the score of multiple-SCO scorm package?

I used Captivate 4 and created 2 SCOs. I then used SCORM Packager to package the 2 SCOs into 1 SCORM package. Everything works well. I can upload the SCORM into LMS without problem.
My 1st SCO is pure information without quiz. The 2nd SCO is pure quiz. While LMS shows all interactions properly, it always gives "0" score for the 1st SCO, and report average score of the 2 SCOs as the final score. But I want LMS to report the result for the 2nd SCO only.
For the 1st SCO, I tried to set "slide view only" instead of "quiz result only" in the quiz setting, but it doesn't help.
Anyone encountered the same problem and know a solution? If there are multiple SCOs, some without quiz, some with quiz, how to adjust the setting so that LMS only report and average the score for SCOs with quizzes?

I dont' think I will be much help, as I too am getting into the whole SCO/SCORM world (shakes head in frustration)
However, I believe it's not considered a SCO unless it reports a score of somesort. The way I have read to get around something like this is to create the last button on your first SCO that the user clicks to enable reporting on that button, so that it reports to the LMS - and basically when the user clicks the button it sends a "success" to the LMS and records the score/points you put in.
Now does this help you? probably not, but it may point you in the right direction. If you could do me a favor though, it seems you were able to successfully put your SCORM package up to an LMS succesfully, I have just posted in this thread that I'm having an issue with doing just that. Let mek now if you could provide any insight into my problem.

App to record screen and capture video from camera at the same time?

For the love of God, why is it 2013 (the age of YouTube and such), and I can't find an app that lets me record my hdv camera (canon hv30) AND the computer screen at the same time? I make piano tutorials on YouTube and my current workflow is so horrendous that I havent even made a video in almost a year. What should take 30 minutes, takes 5 hours. Here is my current shi**y workflow.
1. I use iMovie Hd to capture hdv camera
2. I use QuickTime X to capture the screen (i record a virtual keyboard display that lights up the keys I am playing)
3. I have to use a DAW to record the piano sound and my voice since iMovie hd doesnt have the ability to record audio from a separate source than the camera, for some **** reason. (opening up and setting up all three programs takes about 8 minutes)
4. I press "record" on all three programs as quickly as possible to make syncing easier. (my videos are about 7 minutes long, so this part takes about 7 minutes)
5. After I record all 3 things, I export the video from iMovie into a friendlier format to edit in another video editor since iMovie doesmt have the ability to overlay the screencap over another video (****). (25 minutes)
6. I render the audio I recorded in the DAW into a wave file. (another 10 minutes)
7. I import the camera footage, the screen cap, and the audio file into the video editing program. (another 5-10 minutes)
8. I sync the audio and video clips since they were recorded separately (2 minutes)
9. I do all the edits (add intro, cut unwanted footage etc) (10 minutes)
10. I re-render the footage into a final video file. (about 30 minutes)
This is fu*****g ridiculous. There is no ONE program that does everything I need, just diferrent programs that have a feature I need, but is missing another. For example, a program called "screen flow" let's me record the screen, a camera, and an external audio source all at once, but for some frisking reason, it doesmt support "hdv" cameras (basically anything that records HD). Then, there are programs that record HD, but can't record the screen at the same time. This is only an issue since I am on a Mac, since apparently there are countless of programs that can do all the things I need at once (so I don't have to resync, and render things like 3 times each) and many of them are even free (such as xsplit) but they only work in Windows. For the love of God why? It's 2013 for christs sakes. It shoudnt take me 5 hours to make a 7 minute video. If it wasmt for this turn-off, I would have thousands of piano tutorials on yourtube already.
So my question. Is there an app that fixes my workflow and allows me to do all the things I need in one program? If there isn't such a program, why isn't there one?

How can I record narration with no video or beyond the end of my video in iMovie?

I have a question about recording narration in iMovie.
I wrote a script to read as the narration for a movie I'm making. My thought was I could record the narration first, then add video to match the spoken words.
I've done this before in Sony Vegas on my PC and it worked out well, better than trying to speak to what was going on in the video after I record the video.
Unfortunately, if I try to record narration in iMovie without any video being there yet, it won't record. It appears I need to put a video clip on the timeline first.
If I put a short clip in and try to record narration beyond the end of it, iMovie quits recording at the end of the video clip.
So I went to quicktime and recorded my narration there and have 10 audio files (since I just don't seem to be able to read this whole script without making mistakes).
I then tried to add all 10 to my movie and I think it made me add a video clip first, but after I did, iMovie overlayed all 10 audio files on top of each other.
If I try to drag them over one at a time, I still can't get them to go sequentially unless I add more video to my movie.
There must be a way to add audio files or create narration without having to create a video file longer than your audio first. Isn't there?
I just can't seem to find a way to get the audio files layed out one after another without more video. Very frustrating.
At this point, I really want to know how to add audio files beyond the end of my video since I have them all recorded.
But I'd also like to know how to record narration beyond the end of the video too for future projects.

You could insert a bunch of placeholders in the timeline before doing the voiceover.
You can find a range of placeholders (they are actually templates used in iMovie Trailers) in the Maps, Backgrounds & Animatics browser. This is the last browser at the end of the centre toolbar, after the Titles and Transitions browsers. Click on it and scroll down to see all the animatics (aka placholders or templates). Drag a number of these into your project timeline - as many as you think you need to cover your audio.
When you've finished the voiceover, drag photos directly onto the animatics and select Replace from the pop-up menu. Adjust the timing by using the Inspector (double-click a photo to open the Inspector, then change the duration).

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Video Pixelation occurs while recording the video using flash player

Hello,
I am recording the video using flash player 9 ( using the
flash media server 2.0 on the back end). Everything used to work
fine in the past. The quality of the flv video was good. Now
suddently, I have started seeing the pixelation in the recorded
video (very poor video quality). Nothing has been changed in the
code. However on the server side, I am not very sure if there is
any windows update has taken place and have caused the problem with
the codec on server.
However my understanding is that when we record the video
then flash player use its own codec not the flash media server.
Can any one help me on how I can get rid of pixelation
issues?

I might not be understanding the question right, but if you
are using Flash
Player 6, and the Flash Player 6 video player component, you
can resize the
video by resizing the component on the stage (just drag and
make it larger).

Can you add the score of a hockey game to a video?

You know how they have the score in the top left hand corner of sports, well I would like to have something like that but for the video of my hockey game. I would like to overlay it my video.
I would like something like this, but for mac, preferably looking more like like what they have on tv(so a little more subtle and less like an actual scoreboard in an arena)

I don't think that there is any sort of plug-in for FCP. This looks like a desktop application and even if it was for Mac, it would really be difficult to include into your edit. If you want to be ballsy you probably could do some screen capture for this app and then convert it to an mov somehow, but that application would have to match your actual hockey game somehow.
It'll be a lot of work but if you really want to do this then you will have to create a graphic of your own from scratch, possibly through Motion or After Effects. But you are talking about a lot of work.

Noob Question: Flowing Input Dataset Row/Record IDs Through to the Score Model Output

I've got a noob question that I'm having difficulty finding the answer to: if my input dataset contains row/record IDs and I want to flow these through to the Score Model module output but *don't* want to include this column in model training (because
it's just an arbitrary row tag), how do I go about accomplishing this?
I am able to Project Columns and eliminate the IDs entirely early in the process but then can't really determine which input row a prediction is associated with because I've lost the IDs. I'm not quite sure how to accomplish what I'm trying to do via
the Metadata Editor, either.
Surely somebody else has dealt with this same question. If the solution is implemented somewhere in a Gallery experiment that you'd like to point me at, too, that would also be just as good as a written explanation.

Sorry for making this process unclear :( Azure ML has a notion of Feature Columns
(by default everything is a Feature), that is columns/variables that are intended to be treated as part of the observation vector. You can use the Metadata Editor
and (after selecting the column(s) you want), mark the column as
Fields -> Clear Feature. This will have the semantics you desire - data attached to the input data while not being used for training.
