Record TS to local HD

Hi!
I'm writing an application on Irt MHP RI 1.1.1. This application
tunes to different TS and display the services it carries by JMF players.
But I wish to extend the application to have the ability to
record the TS to local HD, how to do this?
What additional classes or methods should I implement?
Please help me.
Thank you :-)

Recording a service from a transport stream is not currently part of the MHP specification, so it's not possible to do this in an interoperable way. Some implementations like the IRT implementation may support this for testing purposes or for development purposes, but no consumer STB supports it at the moment.
I have heard that there will be an MHP PVR specification at some point in the future, but I know very little about it at the moment.

    Dear Friends,
I have configured split valuation for materials.
    1. i activated split valuation in OMW0
    2. I created the following in OMWC
2.1 global types IMPORT for 0003 spareparts
2.2 global types LOCAL for 0003 spareparts
        2.3 global category P Batch
for this category, above 2 types activated.
for this category, above 2 types are assigned to my Org. Unit plant UP01.
now i created a material 600025 and in accounting1 view, i have taken the following
           valuation category - P
           price control - V
           moving price - 1,00
next i created a PO in ME21N for vendor 400015.
    while MIGO against this PO,

how to fix this. please help me.
    Thanks in advance
    Ravi.

    Hi,
create val types for your material in MM01,.
Goto MM01 and select accounting view and give your org level plant and in the pop up window enter P val type and in acc view give details for your different val types.

  • Urgent: Flash Player 10, record audio - save locally on button click?

    Hi there,
I am wondering if Flash Player 10 will allow a Flex app or a Flash app the ability for the user, inside of a web-page, to record some audio with their microphone then click a button to activate the OS's Save File dialog? The user would then just save the audio on their local filesystem.
I was thinking this had to be done with a Java app, but I am seeing that v10 allows saving if the user initiates the action (button click)... i cannot a definitive answer or example that shows recording audio without it going to FMS or Red5.  The requirements of this app prohibit a media server so I am not sure if this can be done with Flash Player 10?
Is this possible?  If so are there any examples of this flow?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

    Hi, everyone,
If we can record audio from Flash Player 10 inside of a webpage and save audio files onto our local places by the use of mic applications, it will be very convenient. In fact, we can turn to use other available programs to record audio from flash and save locally by clicking buttons. It is possible to use recorders to record audio on flash or any other media players.
I don't know whether my guess is what you are thinking or not, perhaps you need to search for more information.
    Regards.

  • Record video to local file: possible in AIR 2.5?

Our shop is spec'ing an application that will include recording high-quality video on a user's workstation for later upload. We thought of building in Flex and distributing as an AIR application. Before now, my research tells me, one could capture microphone sound to a local file, but video has always required NetStream.publish() to a FMS server. The other way to go was using NativeProcess to communicate e.g. to FFMPeg -- there's a devnet article about just that here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/articles/air_screenrecording.html
Neither of those scenarios is a good fit to our need.
Question: does the AIR 2.5 release make it possible to record local Camera video to a local file?
    Thanks in advance,
      Laurence

I didn't think recording was the issue, rather encoding into something less huge than a sequence of raw bitmap captures in a reasonable amount of time. There aren't any changes in AIR 2.5 to improve that aspect.
There is this library that claims to encode captured video into FLVs (I haven't tried it yet): http://www.joristimmerman.be/wordpress/2008/12/18/flvrecorder-record-to-flv-using-air/

  • Create OD Kerberos record with Windows .local domain

I am in the process of setting up my open directory master that will be working in a golden triangle with our existing windows domain. Our windows FQDN ends with .local and all dns is running on this domain.
I am unable to create a kerberos record for the open directory because of the .local domain. The xserver thinks the FQDN is a Bonjour name and will not create the record.
If anyone has an Idea on how to work around this problem I would apreciate your help.
    Thank you

  • What are record groups for?

    hi,
Could anybody tell me what is the main purpose of creating record groups whith statements like: create_group_from_query, populate_group, ...
Every time we want to access any records we can use blocks which are based on tables or views which are in Oracle Data Base. So what is the reason of creating record groups?
    please explain my that issue:)
    Grzegorz

    hi grzegorz,
Record Group is one which is used with LOVs and List Items.
for the use of LOV & List items u must have to define record group through whis the List items or LOV is belogs to that group.
A record group built from a query can store records from database tables much like a database view, with the added advantage that the record group is local to Form Builder, rather than existing in the database.
To know more about record group, form builder's help is good way,

  • Lync 2010 client and SRV record

When Lync 2010 was originally set up in our environment, we included our login domain which is a .local as a SIP domain but everyone uses our additional SIP domain which is a .org.
In our internal DNS, we have SRV records under both domains. Question is if a Lync 2010 client is doing autodiscover and their SIP domain is the .org, will the client look at the SRV record in the .local domain? I don't think this SRV record was ever used
even though its the users login domain, its not their SIP domain.

You're right, the SRV records that belongs to your .local domain are not used by the lync client for a user that hs a .org sip domain sign-in address, so as you are saying if all the users are configured with a .org sip domain that means these SRV records
were never used, and you can safely remove them.

  • Going beyond 70+ hr DVR record time?

The Motorola DVR that the FIOS tech installed, can only handle about 70 hrs of material.  Since I'm used to recording closer to 80 hrs, is there another option?  VCR compatible w. FIOS?  What about extended the hard drive, by plugging an external hard drive into either the USB Firewire ports?

If you have an HTPC in your TV room, or Xbox360 in your TV room + a Vista PC elsewhere in your home, then the cheapest solution is a ~$50 QAM tuner for your PC.  That will let you watch or record programs from local SD and HD channels to your computer's hard drive, which can then be played back through the Xbox360.  This is known as "Vista Media Center extender" functionality.  Note this solution will not let you record cable channels.
If you don't have a HTPC in your TV room, or don't have a Xbox360 in your TV room and a Vista PC elsewhere, or you need the ability to record more than your locals, then you may want to look at a TivoHD.
The TivoHD is a dual-tuner HDTV DVR that supports all of Verizon's SD and HD channels using a CableCard.  It can be had for about $205 shipped, and for another $120, you can upgrade it with a 1TB hard drive for 160+ HD hours and 800+ SD hours capacity.   The primary advantages of the TiVoHD include superior guide data (which makes for more reliable recording) and virtually unlimited storage.  The disadvantage of the TiVoHD is that it requires a monthly or yearly fee -- unless you want to pay for a lifetime subscription -- and it doesn't support Verizon's VOD.  More information on the TivoHD can be found in this thread.
All programs above are recorded in high-definition.

let me know what would be the reason that 1st million takes only 15 minuts and the time goes on increasing gradually with the increase of dataYes that's a little strange. I only can guess:
    1. You are in archivelog mode and the Archiver is not able to archive the redo logs fast enough
    2. You don't use Direct Load and DBWR ist not able to write the direty block to disk fast enough. You could create more DBWR processes in that case.
    3. Make a snapshot of v$system_event:
create table begin as select * from v$system_event;After the import run
create table end as select * from v$system_event;Now compare the values:
select * from begin order by TIME_WAITED_MICRO descwith the values given you by
select * from end order by TIME_WAITED_MICRO descSo you can look where your DB spent so much time waiting for something.
Alternativly, you could start a 10046 trace on the loading session and use tkprof.

  • Simulate GSS in local host file

    Hi,
I would like to test out the GSS without publishing it on the internet DNS.
So the only way I think is to update the local host file (Win XP). What would be an equivalent entry in local host file for the below in Internet DNS
    abc.com IN NS gss.abc.com
    gss.abc.com IN A 22.11.22.11
Mapping a domain/hostname to IP is straight foward, but how can an NS record be added.
    Thanks.

Thanks. But I would like to avoid DNS effort and just manage with the local host file. So I would like to know whether it is possible to enter NS record in the local host file.
If I were to ask for hostname abc.com, the process should be
    1. Check local host file for abc.com
    2. abc.com is pointed to NS record in local host file.
    3. The Name Server has a IP mapping in the local host file.
All of the above without any DNS setup. A local host file at the moment is like
    abc.com 22.11.22.11
which I want to change to
    abc.com IN NS gss1.abc.com
    gss1.abc.com 22.11.22.10 (GSS IP)
How can I acheive 'abc.com IN NS gss1.abc.com' in local host file.

  • Record selection question

I want to return records when the field  begins with 3 alpha characters only.
    i.e.
    table.field ("starts with aaa,abc,ade,...........)
    Thanks

Jason and Don, thanks very much
this formula gave me what i needed :
    MID({SRMARRAYREPLICA.PRIMARYHOSTNAME}, 1,1) IN "a" to "Z" and
    MID({SRMARRAYREPLICA.PRIMARYHOSTNAME}, 2,1) IN "a" to "Z" and
    MID({SRMARRAYREPLICA.PRIMARYHOSTNAME}, 3,1) IN "a" to "Z"
the sql query did not have a where clause, so was all records wre filtered locally, but performance seems ok..
FYI, i did try this but it did not work,  not sure why.

  • Missing SOA record for AD integrated zone

We are in the process of updating our Domain Controllers. We have 3 (now 2) Domain Controllers running server 2008 and 3 new Domain Controllers running Server 2012 R2. In DNS, we have 3 AD integrated zones. 1 of the zones is missing the SOA record on all
    3 new DCs.
Before the record went missing, I first noticed an issue when attempting to demote one of the Server 2008 DCs.  I had received the following warning:
"This Active Directory domain controller appears to be the last DNS server for the following Active Directory-integrated zones:
zonename If you demote this domain controller, you may be unable to resolve any DNS names in these zones."
I found a TechNet article with someone in the same boat, and the solution was basically to ignore the warning.
Well I checked out the zone in question, and noticed that the SOA record on the 3 new DCs had an old version/serial number (25 on the new DCs, 126 on the old DCs).  This is a zone that rarely gets touched.  I did an increment serial number on one
of the old DCs and they were then all showing version 127 for their SOA record, so the replication was working.  The other odd thing about the SOA record is that on the OLD DCs, the record pointed to themselves, like they should.  But on the new
DCs, the SOA record pointed to other DCs, which they shouldn't be doing.  Well, whatever, I went ahead and completed demoting the 2008 DC I was working on.
After demotion completed, I attempted to fix the messed up SOA record on the new DCs.  First I tried changing the replication scope from all DNS servers on DCs in the domain to all DCs (Win 2000 compatible).  This didn't do anything for the SOA
record.  For my next attempt, I took one of the old DCs and removed the problem zone from AD, making it a standard primary zone.  Then I removed the AD-integrated version of the zone from another DC and waited for the zone removal to replicate.
So now the only copy of the zone is a standard primary on 1 DC.  Then I switched the zone to AD integrated and waited for replication.  Sure enough the zone appeared on all DCs.  However, now on the 3 new DCs, the zone in question is now missing
the SOA record entirely.  On the old DCs, the SOA record looks fine.  When I open the zone properties on one of the new DCs and select the SOA tab, it just says "The data is not available."
So there we go.  3 DCs missing their SOA record for an AD integrated zone.  Any suggestions?

Well I found the source of the problem.  The zone giving me trouble has a CNAME record that's the same name as the zone itself.  For example, for the zone testZone.local there is a CNAME record called testZone.local that points to www.testZone.local.
That way if someone types testZone.local into their browser, they end up at www.testZone.local.  After some research, I discovered that CNAME records cannot share the same name as any other record.  In my example, the CNAME record has the same
name as the SOA and NS records in the zone.  Although many DNS servers allow this practice, it is not a valid DNS configuration.
While this setup worked fine in our Server 2008 environment, it definitely causes problems in Server 2012 R2.  Somewhere between those 2 versions, Microsoft changed their DNS implementation.  So to avoid any issues with our zone, we just need to
    configure it correctly!

  • Please help me write a /var/named/named.local that works!

    Dear Mac Wizards,
named.local in /var/named is severely broken, as a result reverse-lookup does not work. Here is the output of
    $ sudo named-checkzone named.local /var/named/named.local
    dnsmasterload: /var/named/named.local:3: ignoring out-of-zone data (0.0.127.in-addr.arpa)
    dnsmasterload: /var/named/named.local:9: ignoring out-of-zone data (0.0.127.in-addr.arpa)
    dnsmasterload: /var/named/named.local:11: ignoring out-of-zone data (1.localhost)
zone named.local/IN: could not find NS and/or SOA records
zone named.local/IN: has 0 SOA records
zone named.local/IN: has no NS records
Here is what named.local looks like for the moment. It SHOULD contain reverse-lookup info for the head node, 192.168.1.1, and all the subsequent nodes up to 192.168.1.11. Please assist! I don't want to hose my dns by doing this incorrectly. Thank you very much!
    $ more named.local
    $ORIGIN localhost.
    $TTL 86400
0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. IN SOA localhost. root. (
    2006102335 ; Serial
    3H ; Refresh
    15M ; Retry
    1W ; Expire
    1D ) ; Minimum
    0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. IN NS localhost.
    1 IN PTR localhost.
xserve   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   cluster configuration

The answer to this question eventually came from a combination of this short discussion (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=660760) and a lot of document reading.
    named.local SHOULD look like this:
    $TTL 86400
@ IN SOA localhost. root. (
    2006102436 ; Serial
    3H ; Refresh
    15M ; Retry
    1W ; Expire
    1D ) ; Minimum
    IN NS localhost.
    1 IN PTR localhost.
If you use server admin to configure DNS zones, extra lines get inserted:
    $ORIGIN localhost.
    $TTL 86400
    0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. IN SOA @.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. root. (
    2006102436 ; Serial
    3H ; Refresh
    15M ; Retry
    1W ; Expire
    1D ) ; Minimum
    0.0.127.in-addr.arpa. IN NS @
    1 IN PTR localhost.
“What's that ‘$ORIGIN localhost.’ on the first line? And why has the SOA turned into ‘@.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa.’ ?” Asks a previous discussion. No one seems to know-we only know that when these lines appear, your reverse-lookup gets hosed and BIND doesn't work like it should.
In case anyone cares, you can write your own zone files by hand. I'll translate one here as an example:
    db.192.168.1
    $TTL 86400
    1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN SOA XXXX.XXX.private. sgifford.brown.edu. (
    2006102400 ; serial
    3h ; refresh
    1h ; retry
    1w ; expiry
    1h ) ; minimum
    1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN NS xxxx.xxxx.private.
    11.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node11.xxxx.private.
    1.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR hebb.xxxx.private.
    8.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node08.xxxx.private.
    2.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node02.xxxx.private.
both zone files start with the phrase “$TTL 86400”. This stands for “Time To Live”. This tells the domain server how long to cache the records retrieved from the zone file. You could just as easily say “$TTL 1440m” or “$TTL 24h” or “$TTL 1d”. It’s all the same to the server. However, if you want changes that you make to the zone to propagate quickly, you might which to make this time shorter.
The next section is called the SOA, which stands for “start of authority”. The first line declares that zone’s primary domain name is hebb.private, that the class of zone is IN, and that the email address of the person responsible for maintaining the domain is [email protected], with a “.” instead of a “@”.
Then comes the SOA and a series of mysterious lines, all of which are conveniently labeled in English. The serial # is an interesting one. It is used by the BIND demon, which loads the DNS zones at startup. If you change the zone file but do NOT change the serial number, Bind will ignore the changes. This is key. So, how do you write a new one? Fortunately, there is a standard format to these numbers: serial number = YYYYMMDDNN. So the serial number in db.192.168.1 is 2006102400, meaning that it is the first version of this file written on 10-24-2006. If you look at the hebb.private.zone file, you will see that the serial number is 2006102413. This was the 13th version of this file written on 10-24-2006. Ironically enough, it was the one that finally worked. I hope that you never have to use this piece of information, but FYI the maximum number of versions per day is 100.
Below the serial number is a short list that looks like this:
    3h; refresh
    1h; retry
    1w; expiry
    1h); minimum
These mean pretty much what they look like they should mean. Refresh is how often the BIND will come looking for a new serial number: in this case every 3 hours. If the master DNS server fails to accept changes to the zone-as it will if this file is not written correctly-BIND will Retry every hour. If BIND fails to update the master DNS server with the new zone information, the DNS server will continue to act on the last valid information that it had until its Expiry, which I have set here for 1 week. That’s probably the shortest period of time that I would choose-any shorter and you may or may not have time to catch and correct the changes before dns comes crashing down. The last field, the minimum, has a singular purpose: to cache negative TTL answers. If you take a node offline, but leave its record in the zone file, BIND will continue to query for that node, despite there being no answer. How long BIND continues to query is set here. Unlike the expiry, I would set this value to be something small, because BIND will continue to query and take up system and network resources until it gets an answer, or until the Minimum amount of time passes.
Now that you understand what amounts to the header information in this file, we get into the real meat of it: where it defines the nameserver and lays out the map of the domain. All of this takes place in the lines:
    xxxx.private. IN NS xxxx.xxxx.private.
    xxxx.private. IN A 192.168.1.1
    node11 IN A 192.168.1.11
    xxxx IN A 192.168.1.1
    node08 IN A 192.168.1.8
    node02 IN A 192.168.1.2
    node03 IN A 192.168.1.3
    node04 IN A 192.168.1.4
    node05 IN A 192.168.1.5
    node06 IN A 192.168.1.6
    node07 IN A 192.168.1.7
    node09 IN A 192.168.1.9
    node10 IN A 192.168.1.10
    fileserver IN A 192.168.1.xxx
The first line contains the “NS” – the nameserver used to lookup a domain. The next line begins a series of lines, each of which are “A” record that is used to link the fully qualified domain name to an IP address. In the reverse map, db.192.168.1, you will see, instead of “A” record, “PTR”:
    1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN NS xxxx.xxxx.private.
    11.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node11.xxxx.private.
    1.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR hebb.xxxx.private.
    8.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node08.xxxx.private.
    2.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node02.xxxx.private.
    3.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node03.xxxx.private.
    4.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node04.xxxx.private.
    5.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node05.xxxx.private.
    6.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node06.xxxx.private.
    7.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node07.xxxx.private.
    9.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node09.xxxx.private.
    10.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR node10.xxxx.private.
    109.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR fileserver.xxxx.private.
PTR stands for “DNS Pointer”, and makes reverse-mapping possible.
Now that you know what you’re looking at, you can begin to see how straightforward it is to edit a zone by hand. You can change any of these values, change the serial number and wait for BIND to come around and refresh in 3 hours. Or, you can stop and restart the nameserver using the following commands:
    $ sudo serveradmin stop dns
    $ sudo serveradmin start dns
BIND should come around looking for the zone file. If it doesn’t, you can call:
    # named –f
Named reads the default configuration of /etc/named.conf, which will direct it to look in the zone files for configuration information. If you are having major troubles with DNS, run named in the foreground with the highest level of debugging possible, level 9:
    # named –g -d 9
You can also redirect the output to a file for easier inspection:
    # named –g -d 9 >& /tmp/named.out &
Good luck-may the force be with you.

  • SRV Record for TC Software(SX20,C20)

    Hi all,
We tested DNS SRV record for two VCS-Cs that are not clustered.
MCU works fine with those SRV records, but C20, SX20 do not work.
Can't TC endpoints receive SRV records?
    VCS:X8.2.1
    MCU5300:4.5(1.45)
    C20,SX20:TC7.2.0
    Best Regards,
    Kotaro

    Hi Patrick,
    Sorry for the late reply.
I mentioned "MCU works fine with those SRV records, " but actually it didn't work.
