Recorded in 442 hz?

Hi!
I recorded some piano to my existing track, and found out that the piano was tuned in 442 hz. The other stuff that is already recorded is in 440 hz. Is there a way to change the piano in logic, or any other way to solve this problem! Thanks,
/Cardaroy

hi cardaroy,
is this causing massive problems?
i could say "what's two cents between friends" but i won't.
really, i've done hit recordings where being in tune was a real novelty.
not proud of it, but true.
if everything was perfectly in tune, it would be perfectly dead as well.
flux, as in the state of, is very important in art.
if you are talkin' EXS, yes you can tune it where you'd like.
if talkin' real panano, yes you've problems.
logic's pitch shiftin's a bit shifty, i don't think you'd like the result.
acoustic piano is very touchy and harmonically very complex.
the logic time machine just ran for cover..............

  • [solved] Touchpad scrolling and tapping stops working after Xorg 1.9

    Hi all,
My laptop is an Acer Extensa 5630EZ and it has been running for over a year with Arch without problems. However, since the xorg 1.9 upgrade the touchpad edge scrolling just randomly stops working. Everything else continues working fine. I have searched the forums and Googled but haven't found anything that fixes it. Logging out and back into KDE gets the scrolling working again (X restart I guess). I'm pretty much stumped for ideas. Please help!
    [edit]
    - I edited the title for a more accurate description
    - I noticed that tapping also stops working
    - Note that it initially works but then randomly stops... as opposed to others' where it does not work at all.

I know about Google's Linux search but I hardly use it... I just add Linux to my search terms. Thanks for the reminder though.
My laptop is an Acer Extensa 5630EZ with an ALPS 'GlidePoint' touchpad.
Searching for problems that seem related to mine does not bring up much. Xorg 1.9 being new is probably the reason. I have gone through the updated installation guide and tried to get everything in order. Some pages recommend HAL, Xorg does not. But without HAL, I have no suspend/hibernate option in KDE and VMWare will not work. The problem appears even if I run DBus only without HAL. So I've decided to to just run HAL.
I have removed all the extra stuff I don't need at startup. Most notable is syndaemon in bashrc (totally forgot I had that). I have to wait for it to stop working since it is unpredictable. Though, I have noticed that it seems to stop working when I use keyboard shortcuts/combinations.
Here is my entire Xorg log after it stopped working:

[edit] I haven't had any problems the since I disabled all the extra stuff. I don't feel like finding the exact cause since I think it was specific to my own setup... though I suspect syndaemon. I'll go ahead and mark this as solved... again. Thanks for the help.

  • I called 888 442 4551 and when the recording told me to press any number its not working,

I called 888 442 4551 and when the recording ask me to press any number on dial pad its not working, means I can not make any choices,,,

No, Apple does not support downgrading iOS. Never has.
Start with a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
If that doesn't work, you may need do a full restore.

  • Multiple record insert problem in Oracle Procedure that uses a cursor

    Dear X-pert guies,
I have a oracle procedure that use a cursor, I repeatedly make query on 1st table using cursor value and insert that queried value(of 1st table) to 2nd table
    y_summary. y_summary has composite  primary key :PK_Y_SUM (BILL_DATE, TRUNK_MGR, IDD_FLAG, PK_FLAG, PREFIX).*
when i run the procedure explicit2('201001'); the it gives me the error:::: begin explicit2('201001'); end;_
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (PRM.PK_Y_SUM) violated_
    ORA-06512: at "PRM.EXPLICIT2", line 413_
    ORA-06512: at line 1_
but when i remove the composite primary key from y_summary table then, the procedure runs ok and make so many duplicate entries in y_summary.
but i want the single record  to be inserted for single time in y_summary ,so You guies are honorly requested to make the required help .
the structure of y_summary Table and Procdure code is given below.

    Dear concern
Really sorry not to make format listing because i am amature to this blog.
my anwser to your way .
    1. I have Tested my SQL statements manually in SQL*Plus. this runs ok
    2. "Cursor loops, such as the one you have coded here, have been obsolete in Oracle since version 8i 12+ years ago.
Look up BULK COLLECT and FORALL in the docs and use them instead."
I am trying to make use of the BULK COLLECT and FORALL statement in proper location.
    3. "Your procedure never performs a commit so no work actually takes place" i need to get the anwser why........................?
    4. "On what basis was the decision made to use the default PCTFREE and PCTUSED values of 10 and 40?"
is there any problem if default is used..? if any suggestion........pls
5." You did not format your listing using the CODE tags as explained in the FAQ making your listing unreadable ... so I've not read it.
Please read the FAQ and use the proper way to post code so we can understand it. Then perhaps we can help you further. " really sorry not to make understandable to you..? but i will try from next post..
I really will try to be synced..
My aim is to make query to Table A using the cursor value like( '4422','442','4411','441','44') and get some data in accordance of these values. Then i put the data into another Table B. same time i need to delete the record from Table A containing the prefix value in accordance for example- i compute value for '4422' from Table A and put the computed value to Table B .Then i delete the record from Table A where prefix is '4422' .so that computed value for the next prefix '442' should contain the computed value for 442[0-1] and 442[3-9] .Same way it will be happened for ('4411','441','44'....bla...bla).
    Thanks in advance..

  • Quality Manager no record the calls.

    Hi everyone
I'm Deploying a Recording QM solution and it does't record the calls.
I'm using a Network Recording enviroment with CUCM 8.6, CCX 8.5(su4) and QM 8.5.2.18
I've followed the QM Configuration Guide and the CUCM monitoring a recording configuration guide to setup the QM.
Postinstall process was good, without any errors.
Agents have basic license, and workflow is configured.
I can see RTP packets coming from Agents pohones on call to Windows 2008 QM server using Wireshark.
But any audio files is saves in the Recording folder.
I have found some error in log files releated with SQL DB, But I checked the SQL information, and it is ok.
I have attached a RecordSErver0001.dbd error as well.

For acl i have used these config variables.

I have to use acl. Why i am getting this error?

  • Recording audio crashes Quicktime Pro.

every time i attempt to record audio with quicktime pro, the program crashes.
i have a few components installed, which i removed from the library/quicktime directory, but this did not change anything.
here is a list of the components in that directory...
    AppleIntermediateCodec.component
    DivX Deoder/Encoder.component
    Flip4Mac Export/Import.component
    OggImport.component
    Perian.component
    Theora.component
i didn't know what "appleintermediatecodec" was, so i didn't remove it. everything else was however, but no fix.
and i don't even know what "theora" is.
    below is a crash summary...

Sorry but no. QuickTime can play streaming media but cannot capture it. Audio Hijack can of course record the output of QuickTime Player, so just play the stream with QuickTime Player and capture the stream with Audio Hijack.

  • Pro Res 442

I am using a FS4 HD to record media then using DVFilm to make it 24p. The files are huge and wanted to take advantage of the new pro res 442. What would be the best way to convert the HD files I have now to the new file format? Thanks.

I don't have FCS2 yet, but my guess would just to use Compressor as there is probably an option to transcode the footage to Pro Res. Also, compressor would allow you to queue all you footage and if you have Xgrid enabled, to send files to other computers to transcode.

  • Infotype 442

    Hi All
I have made some config with Payroll->GB->Private Cars
Added details about the car, model name , start dt, end date , fuel type, CC's type.
But in infotype 442, In Car Specifics , I cant see the Fuel CC's when I select the particular Car model.
    The Car Specifics remains blank.
    what could be the problem.
    thanks in advance
    C

    Hi C,
Can you confirm me for which cars you are doign configuration, is it for private or company car?
because as you mentioned in the mesage you are checking in the Payroll-> private cars, but you are creating record for company cars.
And also please check configuraion for company car in PM -> PA -> Payroll data - > company car.
    Please let me know.
    thanks,
    Vasu.

  • Error in creation of a condition record

Hi to all, I've this error when I try to create a condition record :
Implementation of Method FIELD_CHECK/DEFAULT_VALUE_SUGGESTION for BAdI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME for filter ZIUSERSTATUS is missing
    Message no. /SAPCND/MAINTENANCE719
    Diagnosis
Implementation of BADI /SAPCND/ROLLNAME or method FIELD_CHECK/DEFAULT_VALUE_SUGGESTION is missing for the filter characteristic ZIUSERSTATUS.
If, however, the implementation is correct (see BADI Interface Documentation) and active, there is an error in the condition maintenance layer.
    System Response
An exception or error occurred because condition maintenance cannot check, convert or lock/unlock the fields of a condition record.
    Procedure
Contact the department responsible for carrying out the missing implementation in the case of application fields in the customer namespace.  SAP is responsible for SAP fields which are set in the field catalog (/SAPCND/CTFC) and delivered, and if the field is supported as a possible field in a condition table. SAP is also responsible for the implementation of usage fields for SAP applications, just as with condition technique fields.
In cases where SAP is responsible, contact your responsible support organization.
Could someone help me please ?

Hi I just put the coding:
    e_was_executed = 'X'.

  • How do I use my web cam to record audio and video? I can get the video to work but no sound.

I want to record both audio and video at the same time. The video works fine but not the audio. I do use Skype without any problems using both.

    PwmBoat,
This made me smile, because things like this do make me smile...  I never make videos on YouCam, but I did this time, so I could test this one out.
You did not say what webcam software you are using...
    ======================================================================
Video and audio recording works on YouCam V3.5.1.4606
Make sure you have turned on a working microphone in Settings:
    YouCam > Right-Side   Settings >
Right-Side, Lower-Right, Select a working Microphone from the Drop down list
    AND
    CHECK "Capture with audio"
    OK
You can also buy (for $38 US) YouCam 5.0 from the Cyberlink.com website and it has audio/video and all sorts of other goodies, too.  (They have 3.x as well, but why buy what HP already gives you?)

Thus 7 records are missing. Also The Cube contains more Fields  than DSO. in the transformations , for the extra fields we have written end routine and those extra fields will get data by reading master data .. Any pointers how to get the missing records or what is the error ...

  • Pension payment period record issue in Retiree Payroll

    Dear Experts,
We are implementing Retiree payroll with new set of wagetypes and payroll area. Now requirement is that there needs to be a provision of recording the balance period of pension payment and further it should be displayed in the form of report. That means say employee has the eligibility of receiving pension from 01.12.1998 to 14.11.2015 and he has received it till  Oct, 2010, remaining balance period needs to be projected in month and days like 60.14/98.12 etc.
Now please suggest how to achieve it, should we create a custom infotype for storing it or any other way is there.
    Thanks and regards
    Tan

    It is Indian payroll.
Requirement is to store the balance period of pension payment, like if one employee is eligible to get pension ( as per our pension benefit scheme) for 10 years 3months 15 days since his retirement date and has already received for 36 months i.e. 3years, we need to store and display that he is eligible to get pension for another 7years 3months 15 days in 87.15 format (i.e. 7*12+3= 87months and 15days) on monthly basis.
This will be also captured in a report later on.
    Please suggest

  • RECORDING DVD FROM VCR

HOW DO I RECORD A DVD FROM A VCR? I BOUGHT A APPLE MINI-DVI TO VIDEO ADAPTER AND A S CABLE ADAPTER, IT ALL HOOKS UP, BUT IT DOESN'T SHOW UP AS BEING THERE. HELP! ANYBODY! I WOULD LIKE TO DUB MY CHILDS MOVIES OF WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG BEFORE THEY ROT AWAY ON VCR TAPE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
    imac G5 20"   Mac OS X (10.4.5)   just received

    FYI.
I recently purchased the EyeTV 200 (Firewire).
A refurb direct from Elgato for $200.
    opeyetv200refurb)
Yeah, I got the "200" because I'm transferring 300 training sessions from VHS to DVD. I use the RCA inputs (three wire plug type - white & red (sound) and yellow (video)). EyeTV200 does a fine job.
I also use our Canon GL2 to pass the video through the camera via firewire into my Intel iMac. I find EyeTV 200 easier (and I can watch and record TV!) while at work! (WaaHOO!)
This is for the analog signal. TEh EyeTV 500 is for
    digital cable.
Didn't know that. Saw the "500" but thought it was for HDTV only. Thanks for the info.
Comes with EyeTV software which allows you to view a
TV guide (titantv.com) and click what you want to
    record.
True! You can even schedule it to record like a VCR. I set it up to record "Amazing Race" before leaving work because the program comes on late and I wanted to see it. Got to work and there it was!
Has S-Video as well as Composite video and stereo
    audio inputs.
So true. I also have a VCR with S-Video and it works just dandy with EyeTV 200.
I'm in the process of putting my videos onto DVD with
    it.
Let's you save directly as MPEG 1, 2, or 4.
Also exports to DV, iPod, H.264, DIVX, HD720, HD1080.
    etc.
Between this and iDVD and iMovie HD, it's some pretty
    wicked stuff.
Ain't it so! Two happy EyeTV users playing on their Macs!
