Recorded videos on iPhone 6 not playing!!

I recorded a couple of videos on my new iPhone 6 from a concert, each around 6:00 minutes long. When I tried playing them back they just didn't work.
The thumbnail version as well as the actual screen on all the videos are plain white and when you select the video to play it a message pops up saying,"Cannot be opened"....what the ****?
I tried transferring the video files to my Mac and opening it there, no luck as well...Quick Time player displays the same message saying,"this file cannot be opened". I have tried using VLC media player as well but it just doesn't open. The file size is being displayed and its taking up space but its not opening, only a white screen is being displayed. This has never happened before and its bloody annoying.
Any help/suggestions on how to get the videos back will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

I am actually having the same issue. In Settings, lock sounds and keyboard clicks switches are set to "on" but that does not resolve it. iTunes, videos, and game audio (in addition to lock sounds and keyboard clicks) will not work through the speaker, but all work when headphones are plugged in. Ringtones and text tones function normally.

Clips recorded on an iphone (m4a) will play in itunes, but not all will play on my ipod. Do they need to be converted to another format?

They shouldn't need to be, but perhaps it would be worth a try to convert them to another compatible format and see if they play that way.

Yeah strange isnt it? I just tried it with my wife's 5C iOS 8.1.2 and it works perfectly and my lads iPad mini 3 is perfect too. It's just my iPhone 6,I have tried everything resetting network settings, hard reboot, remove/reinstall app, different updates of FB app. I am now leaning towards a full factory reset of i6 does anyone else have a clue as to why just the iPhone is affected?

Congratulations on the new Mini. Are you saying you tried burning and it does not play, or do you want to burn it only for the computer to be able to play it?
OS X Mountain Lion: Burn a CD or DVD may help.

1. Open the camera app.
2. Move the slider from in the bottom right from photo to video.
3. Begin recording your video.
4. While your video is recording, tap the camera icon in the upper right to take a photo.
5. You'll see the shutter close on your screen each time you snap a photo.
6. Your photos will be saved to your camera roll.

This helped overcome the crash problem, but (as reported before), I still have to start iTunes in Safe Mode in order to watch any videos. This has been the case since 10.5.
The regular mode behavior has changed a bit - instead of the progress bar moving to the end of the video, showing no video but playing the audio for about three seconds, it now leaves the progress bar where it is ... but the rest of the behavior hasn't changed.
Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit on an HP dv8t quad-core laptop w/ 8 GB RAM, running nVidia GeForce 230M with 1 GB video RAM.
Thanks for your prompt response to the original problem posted above. At least now I'm back where I started from before I upgraded to 10.7. Not optimal, but I've finally gotten used to doing a Ctrl-Shift-click to run iTunes.

My iPhone will not play music. Whenever I try to play music through the speakers on my iPhone it won't let me adjust the volume (like it's connected to a dock) and when I do connect it to a dock, the music plays through the iPhone speakers. Also I've tried just listening to my music through earphones and it plays for around 6 seconds then it goes back to like it's connected to a dock. Help? I've tried turning it off and on, restarting it and even restoring it and nothing's worked.

It says this when not connected to the dock. His dock is an ihome which isn't an official Apple dock. I think my next step is to take the thing in to an Apple store.

Some videos on YouTube will not play

As of a few days ago some of the videos on YouTube will not play I tried IE(I stopped using after it ask for an update) ,but then I had to use google chome and I hate it, but the videos played. Its not every video, and some times it's the same video I just played not to long ago. I fear that soon I might not be able to view most videos on YouTube. I cleared my cache, made sure everything it up-to-date, although Silverlight-plugin will not update, no matter what I try to do( I hope that is not the reason, because Silverlight won't up-date.) I'm am not sure when this problem first arose, at first I though it was Google/YouTube having issues, but it seems like Google's browser works fine on the videos that do not play on Firefox. What can I do, I need Firefox to work, I can't bare to move to another browser.

A few other thoughts:
(1) For a video where this happens, does the problem persist if you try reloading a few times using Ctrl+Shift+r?
(2) Is there any difference in how you connect to Youtube between your browsers? You can check Firefox's connection setting here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network mini-tab > "Settings" button
The default is "Use system proxy settings" but you also could try "No proxy".
(3) Have you received any SSL-related errors, such as pages reporting a certificate problem and requiring you to make an exception, or missing styles or functionality on secure sites?
(4) If you opted in to the html5 player, is there a pattern of the problem videos being in one format or the other (HTML5 player vs. Flash player)? https://www.youtube.com/html5

That is rather esoteric file format. iOS natively will not handle it. Check the app store for a player.

First you have a 4G iPod. Yes there is some delay between tapping the stop button and the recording stopping.

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play all of my music

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play my music. I upgraded to ios5 awhile back and everything was fine in fact it was fine over a week ago now when I go to play it only shows the album art and the songs do not play. Also when the songs it wants to play (it's like it has a mind of it's own) play the album art and songs do not match up. The majority of the songs are purchased from ITunes if that helps. I tried unsyching my music then resyncing as suggested in another post and I still have this problem. I accidently reset all settings and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it, everything was fine until I did that. Try force-closing the Music app: from the home screen, double-tap the home button, locate Music in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button again, then try to play your music again.
