Recording Breaking Bad or lack thereof

I scheduled my DVR to record the "Breaking Bad" marathon. When I went to watch it nothing. The machine showed that all the episodes were recorded but all I got was a blank screen. What gives??????

Neither someone obtaining your phone number nor setting up a Facebook account with that phone number is in any way a symptom of your phone - or its sim card - being hacked. Your phone number is not hard for an expert to track down, given just a bit of other information about you.
As for the noise in the background, you should try restoring to factory settings, without restoring a backup, if you haven't done so already. If that doesn't help, you'll need to contact your cell carrier about the issue.
There is no known way for someone to remotely hack your iPhone or its sim card.

Same thing here- Get the email but nothing but the Inside featurette. It's really annoying. In fact I can't even download it normally using the check for available downloads feature! Every time I do that iTunes tries to download doubles of three Walking Dead episodes I've already downloaded. I don't want what I already have, I just want the new episode.

Has anyone managed to watch Breaking Bad Season 5 on ATV without cursing?

I am getting a lot of green pixel lines, pixalation in general, ghost images, overlapping layers, all kinds of digital distortion. I suspect the latest firmware because Netflix is really smooth and all HD.

I got the email and downloaded 2 copies of the behind the scenes clip, as well. Can we talk about how RIDICULOUS this is? I paid $23, and Amazon Instant has the episode already, and has for HOURS. Not to mention, it doesn't even give you all of season 5. Season 5 IS the final season. This is honestly ridiculous and incredibly disappointing. I can't even watch the behind the scenes yet, because it will spoil the actual episode which isn't out yet. It's not even consistent in release time. Last week, this time, I already had my post-Breaking-Bad-episode glow. This week, this time, it's more of an angry, unattractive, red.

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

A. Diagnostic mode solution
If you have tried trouble shooting your iPod to no avail after all the steps above, chances are your iPod has a hardware problem. The iPod's built-in Diagnostic Mode is a quick and easy way to determine if you have a "bad" iPod.
You need to restart your iPod before putting it into Diagnostic Mode. Check that your hold switch is off by sliding the switch away from the headphone jack. Toggle it on and off to be safe.

Try to do the 5in1, HDD R/W and HDD scan tests. Some successful cases have been reported after the running the few tests under the Diagnostic mode. Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

I bought breaking bad on the US store, can't download it

So I went to buy breaking bad season 1 on itunes, it linked me to the US store where I purchased it (I had money on my account from a voucher), but because I live in Ireland it wont let me download it, but I was still charged for it. Is there any way to download it or get my money back?

You cannot legally use another countrys itunes store.
You have violated the terns of use of the itunes store, shich could lead to the loss of your account.
You can try contacting itunes support and explaining your situation. Maybe you will get lucky and get a refund.

Ok - success!!! The songs are on my iPhone now!
What I did....first I went in iTunes on my Mac and knocked the stars back to 1 star so they they would fall off my top rated. I synced again with the iPhone. No change yet.
Then I went back into iTunes on the Mac and manually DELETED the songs and moved them all to the trash. I emptied the trash. Then I synced again with the iPhone.
Then I just ripped the CD again in iTunes, then five-starred each song, so they went right into my Top Rated on the Mac. Then one more sync with the iPhone and voila! There they are! Phew! This was weird, and soooooo un-Apple like....but it's cool, and it's all good now.

When can I watch Breaking Bad episode 2, "Buried"?

I purchased the season pass, last week it took three days to download and watch the episode (um, what happened to streaming??) Seriously frustrated and thinking of moving to Amazon streaming.

Here's what's happened for me: Episodes for Breaking Bad simply don't appear on my Apple TV as they should. That's happeneded two weeks in a row. This week, it got worse, because the download link for the episode pointed to the making-of teaser, not the real episode.
The episode is finally downloading to my computer, but neither of the first two Final Season episodes shows on my Apple TV. ***?
Something similar happened to me when I bought the 2nd season of Homeland. The common factor is that I bought both seasons before the episodes started to air.
The larger issue, however, is the terrible support. Apple seems to have this set up to make it as difficult as possible to get someone ON THE PHONE. Here's a little FYI, when I want to watch TV, especially the latest episode of the hottest show on, I simply expect it to WORK. Right now. Automatically. And, oh yah, I paid for the whole **** season in advance!
There's just no excuse for this. Apple has, in my experience, excellent support for their hardware products. However, the "support" they provide for their $7B media store is just really bad.

Problems with the pre-purchased last season of Breaking Bad!

I purchased the upcoming eight episodes of Breaking Bad including sneak previews etc., but i could only download 101: The Transformation of Walt to Heisenberg and 102: Final Season Sneak Peek. Can't load videos 103, 104 and yesterday's episode.

If "Check for available downloads" are showing nothing available, try accessing purchases via the quick links section on the iTunes store to see if you can download the episode manually. Below I have included and article that shows you how to download past purchases.

Anybody know when the latest Breaking Bad will be released on Uk store? Already out on Netflix!

I believe the average standard is within 24 hours of it airing. But there are other users complaining about this episode. iTunes can't upload it until the studio gets them the file.
I'd give it a few hours for people to get in the office, etc.
Usually once a procedure is in place things go efficiently.

Are you in a country where TV shows can be re-downloaded - if you are then have you tried deleting that copy from your iTunes library and re-downloading it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ?
When you say that you used the feedback page, do you mean the feedback page (which you won't get a reply to) or the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history on your account or the contact iTunes Support page ?
'report a problem' : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

I bought Season 5 of Breaking Bad. After purchase, iTunes downloaded all the new Season 5 Content. I tried to play it in iTunes. I get an error message the QuickTime is needed and not supported by iTunes. I cannot get the episodes on my iPad. I see an option in iTunes to convert to Apple TV and iPad format, but why? I am confused by this. I was able to play a video from finder in Quicktime. When I select it in ITunes, it says it cannot find the file. Why?

Are you running Lion? If so, try restarting your iTunes in 32-bit mode, as per the following document:

There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know, but according to reports, it can sometimes mean that the same Apple ID is being used with the iTunes Store or one of the other Apple content stores, and the payment method is invalid. Sign in to the store and review your account. You do not, of course, have to provide any billing information to set up an account to use only with iMessage, as it's a no-charge service.
Otherwise, do what the alert tells you to do. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID" as the product and cite the customer code in the alert as the "validation code" to the representative.
