hey i wanted to know if i can record two tracks at the same time but 1 being a USB microphone and one being a guitar going into the built in input.
anyway to do this?!?!? HELP!

I have an Ipad 2 with the newest OS installed etc. And I rea the other posts in here.
I bought an IO dock from Alesis the other day and was full of exspectations, but I got a bit disappointed -> Garageband! When I bought the Ipad dock I exspected that I would be able to record (or just play and hear the inputsound from two devices) at the same time in my headphones! But I wasn't... Now I'm wondering if this is going to be fixed in an update or not? I think it would be a shame if this issue isnt adressed, due to the huge abilities the Ipad/garageband/Ipad docks withhold.
So anyone know anything? I went to my musicstore and spent about an hour or so with the tech dude there trying dfferent setups, but unfortunatly without luck! Just to clarify that I didt just plugged in my guitar and got mad that it wasnt apple intuative!

thrugh a Roland GR 33, and a line out and using the
GR 33 to trigger sounds in the Logic's synth section
but cant seem to record all three tracks at once. If
any one knows how let me know. Oh and I am running
the GR Synth and Guitar into the Prosonus Fire Fox
and have the GR 33 out midi to the Fire Box as well.
So I guss the question is how do I sent up two audo
tracks and one midi track to record in real time.

Try arming the audio tracks, select one of the tracks, then while holding down the shift key, select the midi track you want to record, arming the "r" on the midi track. Press "record".....

Can't recording Midi and Audio at the same time

I'm in GREAT need of help. I can't record midi and audio at the same time. I'm using an M AUDIO project mix I/O. I know this is VERY basic stuff but I can't seem to get it to work.I can record multiple audio at once. ANd I can record midi but not at the same time. PLEASE help . Is there a setting somewhere I need to change ? Thanks

Hi!
Enable all audio tracks (R) you wish to record. Then make sure you select the audio instrument you are using on the left of the arrange page (track list). If you here your input, hold shift, then highlight (gray) the mentioned audio tracks you wish to record on. When R is red, and the proper tracks are grey, you can record. Hope that made sense!

Recording Audio adn Midi at the same time

I'm having issue recording MIDI and audio at the same time. I'm basically trying to play my keyboard and sing at the same time.
The manula sas I just need to arm whatever tracks I want and off I go, however when I arm the audio and the midi tracks it only records the MIDI (or whatever track I have highlighted in the arrange window. If I highlight the Audio track all the MIDI tracks are unarmed. If I highloight the Midi track then although the audio record light stays on no sound get sent ot it

You have to shift+select all the tracks you want to record to. This can either be done in the Arrange or in your Mixer (selected channelstrips turn grey). Select your Audiotrack first and then the shift+select the Miditrack, so that it can receive Mididata from your keyboard.

You probably should not be using a keyboard bluetooth profile for a scanner, I am not a developer for apple so do not know the location for you to find out the correct profile you should be using for an input device that is not a keyboard. Sorry,

Welcome to the Apple community.
The Apple TV cannot display keynote presentations or websites from the computer. It can display them via mirroring from the iPad 2 or better or the iPhone 4S.
You cannot AirPlay to 2 Apple TV 2's at the same time from an iOS device. You can watch the same video, TV show or listen to the same music from your iTunes library on multiple Apple TV's at the same time.

How do I view multiple images from different projects at the same time?

I've been trying to find the answer in the user manual, but no luck so far.
I did find how to open 2 projects at once, but I can only see one image at a time in the viewer and I have to keep going back and forth between projects to compare images. (These are scans of old photos and I want to eliminate the ones that are poorer quality, so need to compare numerous images from 2 sets of scans)
How can I view an image from one project at the same time as an image from another? I know that it can be done in the same project by apple-clicking the second, third etc image, but this doesn't work if the images are from different projects.

I've now created an album, independent of the projects, and dragged test images into it and it does just the job I needed. Now i just need to keep my brain sorted with which ones are which while i'm working

You should be able to accomplish this by hitting record on the audio track, and then while holding the "Shift" key down, hitting record on the MIDI track (or visa versa).

Right now I am in this phase:

g2D.drawImage(planet, null, 0, 0);The x and y of the clipRect method I want them to be different each time but it is only taking the first clip.

You can make an Area from a Shape (like rectangle) and then add other clipping elements to that

Recording and playing Audio at the same time

Having problem with a MMAPI imp.
The simplest way of doing it is to start one thread playing a audio file of any kind.. As it is playing start a other thread that start a audio recording.
As soon as the audio recording is allowed to record (Security promt) the audio playback stops. And the playerListstner sends a END_OF_MEDIA event.
So my question is: Is there a way of doing playback and recording at the same time or is this a limit on the phone or the MMAPI?
This has been tested on Nokia N90 and SE W550i with same reults
