Recording from FMLE to disk - jagged edges and combing..

I'm experimenting with recording straight to hard drive using FMLE 3.2.
I have to film a conference using 4 cameras ( Sony A1U's )
The recordings will be required almost immediately so I wont have any options to bring the footage into Premiere Pro and edit with Multicamera option.
I am using a Roland VR-3 video mixer and I will hook up the VR-3 to the computer and use this as the camera feed to FMLE.
From there I have tested it and it works fine.
However, I am recording to F4v format at 2 Mbps for the highest quality to a Lacie Rugged triple drive using USB 3.0 so write speed is not an issue.
I re-encode the f4v using the Adobe processing script and then change it to .mov. The video plays fine.
I have notices though that there is a combing effect and "jaggies" during some of the camera pans.
How do I avoid this or fix this if possible?

Ntsc dv should be interlaced. also if you are viewing on a computer monitor the footage will appear nasty. It's best to view via an NTSC monitor.Do you have Final cut? if your images are correctly sized you should be able to drop the sequence into a final cut sequence set to DV NTSC and render out the resulting video. You will likely need a multiformat monitor as I believe the standard in India is a PAL variant PAL B not NTSC . in NTSC the screen is filled first by odd lines (Field1) then by even lines (Field2)thus a single pixel line will appear to turn off and on as the screen fills between odd and even lines. Straight lines and angled lines exhibit aliasing and flickering particularily when viewed on a computer monitor because computer screens fill the screen progressively from top to bottom and at a much higher refresh rate than NTSC. hope this helps

Jagged Edges and Unstable Images when converting from Image Sequence to DV

Hi,
I have an Image Sequence (very good quality) that I'm trying to convert using Graphic Converter into DV NTSC Video.
I chose Progressive scan.
I find that the Images appear to have Jagged Edges especially when there is movement involved. Also, the entire image as a whole appears to be Unstable/ Vibrate Slightly.
Does anyone have Experience with this?

Reinstalling CS2 on new hard drive from download. Disk 1 installs and asks for Disk 2 which I can't get to install.

I'm trying to reinstal CS2 on my newly replaced boot drive from a download. Disk 1 installs and then request me to insert Disk2. How do I direct it to the disk2 download?

Recording from DJ equip to garage band and quality is not good?Any ideas

I Dont know what has changed It was ok before.I have tried changing from mono to stereo and different settings on my amp and mixer. Sounds fine when playing but when I listen back on garageband or Itunes It sounds as if i am playing in the red on the laptop? I have to have the volume all the way up on garageband else it doesnt seem to record anything. Have tried adjusting the volume in the sound section on the laptop. Have done all the updates and everything. Does any one have any ideas please!?

CS4 to CS5: Jagged edges and color shift

I have a problem when I try to open Flash CS4 file in CS5. In the workspace, the edges of shapes become jagged, and the colors shift.
But when I export the image as PNG with CS5, everything looks normal. What is causing this?

Another problem...! DNG gives jagged edges; opening TIFF does not

Nikon NEF saved as Prophoto 16bit TIFF when opened in PS4 does not show jagged edges or color bleed. DNG created by Bridge from NEF does show jagged edges and more color bleed, especially in high contrast edges.
I give up. Is this a driver problem (see my last post) or something else?

Your memory issue isn't addressed here but try this to see if you can get a usable file before your deadline:
Hit CTRL S to make certain your metadata is saved (although it shouldn't matter). Then don't export as Original but rather export as DNG from Lightroom.
Does the image import properly now to PS?
On a side note: regardless of the flie format PSD, TIF, JPEG, the image takes up roughly the same amount of RAM when open in PS.

Recording from a turnta

I would like to record from a turntable. What hardware and software do I need?

I record from tape and turntable regularily but have not used the input of my SoundBlaster since I got my JB and then replaced it with JB3. Using the JB3 is simple and very convenient! with options to record to mp3 at various CBR bit rates or to wav at various sampling frequencies. I choose 44.kHz wav and usually add +dB of gain in the JB3. Once the wavs are completed, I move them to my PC which is fast via firewire, then use Audacity http://audacity.soungforge.net to split up the individual tracks. I name each Artist - Album - # - track, 2, 3 etc encode to mp3, and then use the SuperTagging feature of Music Match Juke Box to fill in the tags, providing track titles, year of release and the cddb genre, which I edit later.
I am one of the lucky ones with most of my LP's still in pristine condition so do not worry too much about pops and ticks (from that pizza in 973) etc.

In my mobile application, I have designed one input field with F4 help or input assist. I need to fetch records from database based on that input and need to display records in table.
My question is:
How to fetch the records from database/back end based on the input value and display them as table format as we are doing in SAP ABAP?
Here, I need to fetch the records based on input value available in the UI screen and pass that value to gateway, fetch the records from database and need to bind with table in SAPUI5.

Fireworks cs4 - jagged edges on png32

Please open the fireworks png and see the jagged edges of the buttons on the black background. The icons are set to png32... why am i getting jagged edges and how can I fix

Hmm.
How's this?
I took your .png, doubled its size (Modify>Transform> Numeric Transform and Scaled it by 200%), exported it as a 24-bit .png, brought it back in and reduced it to 50%,back to its original size.
Since the shapes were vector based, they were smoother at the larger size, prior to export/opening/reduction.
If you do this, you should probably put your icons on a larger black background, so there are more black pixels to anti-alias against and work with on the scaling steps.

Jagged edges on photos.

Hello.
I got a huge problem when trying to incorporate pics in PSE12.
I have downsized all pics to 2000X1500 using PS.
My problem is that the photos comes out with jagged edges and really bad quality.
I have tried all sorts of things. Saving it to PC helped a little but still jagged edges and overall really bad quality.
Tried different sizes, still same.
Even tried downsizing to 720 and burn to disc, playback on ps4. Still same.
The quality of video is fine and looks alot better then Pictures. I can just pause the video and it looks
crisper with no jagged edges.
I have never experienced this Before with older versions of PSE.
And No! This is not a resolution issue. I know they wont look as crisp as original
photos but they should be on par with videoquality and as of now they are not.

Just what program are you working with - Photoshop Elements 12 or Premiere Elements 12. The "PSE" abbreviation is typically used with Photoshop Elements.
In order for us to help you, please clarify your posting. If this is a Photoshop Elements question, you have posted in the wrong forum. You want the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum (photo editing) and not where you are now the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum (video editing). It is your mention of "Timeline" incorporated in the "PSE" description that is confusing. By any chance are you working in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor of a Photoshop Elements program? Do you have any version of Premiere Elements at all?

Maximum Open cursor Exceeded error when deleting records from a table

I have a strange problem.
I have a table EMP_MASTER . Whenever I am trying to delete a record from this table, I am getting Maximum no. of open cursor exceeded error. But this error doesnot come when i delete from any other tables. And no. of open cursor is much lesser than OPEN_CURSOR parameter.
All other tables (around 700) has foreign key constraint to this EMP_MASTER table for created_user paramater.
Is it some thing like, when I am trying to delete a record from EMP_master, implicit cursor opens up and checks all referenced tables. and that limit gets exceeded ?

Downloading Voice Recording from Samsung Stratosphere

Hello. I have used the voice recorder app on my Stratosphere and want to download the recording from the phone to my laptop and play them via Windows Media Player. Does anyone know how to make this possible? How do I convert the .amr to a mp3 or wma?

I haven't done this myself, but I'm sure you can find a conversion program to use one the sound files are on your computer.

Create Query in FDM to filter records from ERPi/EBS

Hi,
I am replacing a manual data load created by a sql query which has many filters and text file lookups. The process creates a file which is loaded by FDM scheduler.
The requirement is to automate the load, which I have done in ERPi/FDM, but I can not figure out how to filter the data using the existing query and lookups. I am only able to load the entire data set that is returned by default from EBS through ERPi.
Does anyone know what table in ERPi or FDM I would use in the query?

Upgrade from Snow Leopard to Mavericks failed - disk is damaged and can't be repaired.

I'm afraid the answer is exactly what I don't want. But here is my situation.
I've been trying to download and install Mavericks - I was running Snow Leopard. My system was working fine - I wanted to upgrade so that I could run a game on it - but it required Mavericks.
Finally, it looked like Mavericks was installing. Once I restarted my computer, I got the following message:
"Install Failed. OS X could not be installed on your computer (there's a big scary yellow triangle with an exclaimation point in it below this). The OS X upgrade couldn't be started because the disk Macintosh HD is damaged and can't be repaired. After your computer restarts, back up your data, erase your disk, and try installing again. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again."
Every time I restart, I get the same message, I can't back up my data and erase my disk like it wants me to; it won't let me. I can't get back to my normal computer. I've tried restarting in Safe Mode, but it doesn't work - it just keeps restarting over and over again. If my computer is really this determined to not let me have Mavericks, fine, but I at least want my old computer back. As it is now, I can't do anything on it besides restart it.
If I could just get to Finder, I could save some files and just reformat it - if the hard disk can be repaired. Even if it can't, I just need my documents. Here is the Installer Log:

You are never going to have the option to repair a disk if you are booted from the same disk.
I think the place to start is boot off your Snow Leopard DVD install disk by holding down the C key on boot up.
Under Utilities drop down menu you will have access to Disk Utility.
From here you will have the option to repair Disk (ie not grayed out.)
option: Either insert and wait for the Mac OS X Install DVD window and double-click the Install icon; or power down, then start up while holding down the "C" key. Either way, that takes a few minutes.
