Recording Modes greyed out

All my recording modes have greyed out, as the attached screen shot, so I cannt change options.
I seem to be stuck in Demo mode.
Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Please note that if you have an image, you may insert it inline using the little camera icon just above where you type the post.
This way we may see your image immediately and not have to wait for the forum mods to make it available in the attachments section.
So it will be helpful if you could reply and add the image that way. Perhaps then we might better help you.
Also, what version of Captivate are you using?

Master Boot Record is greyed out, so how to use?

How do I use Master Boot Record (in Mountain Lion, to partition an external Seagate Backup+ hard drive) when it is greyed out and I can't choose it? I tried turning off Time Machine, but that didn't do anything. I also tried installing various Seagate software (like HFS4Win.exe) because what I really want to do is use one partition on the drive as back up when I'm using the Mac OS, and the second partition as back up when I'm in Windows 7 (with maybe a third partition for storage for either/both - it's 3tb). I've spent a few days at the Seagate page and nothing suggested there works, but re-formatting the drive with Master Boot Recorded sounds promising, and it won't let me!
If anyone has a solution please let me know! I'm reasonably adept!

Hi Lee,
If "Manage Catalog" option is greyed-out, it may be possible that you are in the "eLive" room. As in "eLive", most of the File option are displayed.
Switch to "Media" room, the option "Manage Catalog" will be enabled.
Then, please follow the steps mentioned in the article to convert the catalog Elements Organizer Help | Creating and editing catalogs.

Why is the input mode greyed out when I try to create a virtual channel for my 1102?

I have set up a virtual channel for my SCXI-1102, and the input mode is greyed out with it set to "differential". I have already skimmed this forum for answers, and I have checked to verify that the mode slot under the AI tab for my MIO-E series card is set to nonreferenced single-ended mode. I then created a virtual channel with the device slot under the hardware column set to Dev1_SC1_MD1CXI-1102. At this point, as already stated, the input mode goes grey while set to differential. What's going on?

All outputs from the SCXI module are measured in differential mode. You can still mix differential and single ended measurements (if you use the remaining channels of your daq board).
The easiest way to mix modes is with virtual channels. All SCXI analog input channels will be differential, while you can make other virtual channels differential or single ended. If you don't want to use virtual channels, you can use AI Hardware Config in LabVIEW to change the mode.

GSM Mode greyed out in Pantech Jest 2 with European SIM card

I'm in Europe right now and put a German SIM card in, but I can't switch the phone manually to GSM mode because it's greyed out (CDMA is the only choice)...does this mean I needed to get my phone unlocked before leaving the States?

Record Button greyed out

I Have just recieved a new HP computer with the complete CS5 package. Have hooked up the audio leads through Black Magic Intensity Pro but when I go to record the audio from my tape deck into one channel - I go to the record button at the bottom of screen , then a smaller window opens up again with record button , stop & play buttons along bottom of smaller screen. These are greyed out. At the top it says INPUT - Black magic audio - Settings. Nothing happens when you click on settings though. Any ideas out there. Maybe I have to arm a track. Can't see where you do that though.

Do you have the Black Magic selected as default input device in your System sounds? For some reason HPs are quirky about that. My dad's refuses to set his headset mic as a default device for skype, yet it WILL set the headset speakers as soon as he plugs them in.

Instruments record button greyed out with iPhone

When I try to profile my iPhone app using Instruments the record button is greyed out and I can't do anything.
If I try to start from xcode using the "start with performance tool" menu it just says target failed to start.
I've tried removing the iphone from the organizer and plugging it back in.
Any ideas?

I also have the same problem, and running Instruments on the Simulator is not an option, since my problem is that there are sprites that are drawn correctly on the Simlator and are not visible on the Device.

Winrip mp3 recording format greyed out

I have the Neo 875P Fis2R board. When I installed winrip 2.1 that was included in the MSI Superpack software, I found that mp3 was greyed out. I cannot select recording to MP3.
Any help here would be appreciated.

As a rule I don't usually use any of the software that is bundled with MSI hardware...it's a crapshoot at best most of the time...if you need something that will rip cd's then a third party freeware is probly your best bet...you can always rip to wma format which is smaller and just as good, just get the powertoy package from MS's site...a lot of players are supporting it these days...

Extending View Object expert mode greyed out

Hi,
I am trying to extend the View Oject oracle.apps.irc.offers.server.IrcOfferSearchVO. While extending the expert mode check box is greyed out and I can't change the SQL. I wanted to add a table in the from list and add an extra where condition using the added table.
Can you please help me how can I extend the view object if the expert mode is greyed out.

When I select Edit the seeded VO IrcOfferSearchVO, I received the below message.

Router mode greyed out

I'm trying to assign a couple DNS addresses to my airport extreme and apparently while it accepts them its still not actually connecting to them and I've been instructed to switch it to bridge mode. What needs to be adjusted to get into "router mode"?

To use the AE in router mode the modem has to be bridged.. is it??
You have to have the AE plugged into the modem by ethernet. Is it??
Factory reset the AE.. it will automatically go back to router mode which is the default setting.
What model AE do you have??

Playing recorded loops (they stay greyed out)

When recording on a loop , it creates multiple recordings, and places it on a new track. I love this functionality! However only the last loop recorded lets me play it / hear it. How do I enable the other tracks so that i can hear them (ungrey them out / enable them). Much thanks in advance for any help!

Unable to create a new playlist on Itunes when in "On My IPhone " mode. New playlist shows as greyed out. Why?

Before the recent update on Itunes, I was able to create new playlists and drag music diretly into saved playlist folders from my laptop. Now, I can't do either because when in the what's on " my Iphone" mode, trying to creat a playlist is impossible because it is greyed out. I can no longer drag and drop music into saved playlist showing on my phone. What's going on Apple? or anyone.

Thanks for this suggestion, but I have already tried that. The only way for me to boot my mac is by starting in single user mode and mounting the drive, then exiting from there. Nothing else will work, I cannot press Command-R, so this will not work.

I have ended up buying a Flash Drive, and will now download the Mountain Lion installer. I assume that I will be able to boot from this, and then use Disk Utility to format the drive, and later on install Mac OSX Mountain Lion on it?

Sold to Party and Ship to party field are in grey out mode in VA01.

I am facing a very critical situation, Please help me on this.
While creating the sales order by VA01, the Sold to Party and Ship to Party field are in grey out, so we cannot enter sold to party and ship to party. This is happening for all Order types.
And while checking the existing sales order by VA02, so I found that at Header level and Item level the Partner tab are disable
( mena partner tab are in grey mode,).
But when we click on sold to party field in VA02 it directly moves to partner but all Partner shown in Sales tab.
I have check all the partner function and partner determination configuration.
So can any one help me out in this, how in VA01 sold to party and ship to party field are in grey out mode.
How in VA02 the partner tab are disable.?

Now for sales order type you need to assign the partner determination process
SPRO
Sales and Distribution
Basic Functions
Partner Determination
Set Up Partner Determination
Execute
Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header
Select TA - standard order from the right side list
and select Partner Determination Procedure Assignment (from left)
Now assign your sales type to Partner determination TA.
Create a SALES order you can find the sold to and ship to are editable.

How to Grey out the field "tracking number" during change mode in the order

HI Expert,
How to grey out the Tracking number (AFVGD-BEDNR) at Order -> Operation tab -> external tab ->tracking number.
during creation IW31 = not grey out and allow entry.
for change mode IW32 = grey out
if i set grey out at config OIOPD, it will grey out even during creation mode.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
