Recording stops in AA3 when some other window is opened

In Windows XP Pro when I am recording with AA3 the recording stops when I open another Window. If this a toggle-able option I cannot find how to un-toggle it.

No, I understand about the human contact bit - that's not quite what I meant. All I'm suggesting is that it's sometimes worth a read through all of the FAQ's anyway - because if by some chance you remember that there was something in there relating to a problem you have, even if you can't remember the details, you might be able to find it anyway.

When i am opening reports EBS R12.1.3. the text report is opening in some other window, i can not able to copy the text from that window.
Also after loggin in into EBS the menu structure is like tree structure and that is not feasible with us.
In previous release of EBS R12.0.6 the text report is opening with internet explorer.
why this is happening with EBS R12.1.3???

Hi All,
i am working on a network when i make some update in my database through a form on first updation it works fine, while on second updation it gives me an error 'Record has been changed by some other user' wile no other user is currently working on the same form.
Plz tell me what i can do.

You probably have a database trigger which changes the value of a column which is also part of your form.
The solution depends on the version of Oracle forms and the database that you are using.
Oracle forms 6 introduced a DML returning value (block level) which you can set to Yes so that the value(s) changed by the server will automatically be updated within the form. However, you must be running against an Oracle8 (or later) database for this to work.

Mac OS X 10.10 : After Effect hides when clicking other windows.

Hello, I'm having an issue with After Effect CC. When clicking on other windows like apps and or desktop or finder windows After Effect will hide I was wondering if this was normal this was not happing when I was using After Effect CS6 and only happen since using CC is there away to fix this or is it normal for After Effect CC to hide when using other windows and or apps ?

No, it does not happen to any of my other apps on my mac and it does not happen with any other Adobe software like Photoshop, Premiere pro and illustrator. This issue only happens with After Effect CC (this also did not happen when I was using CS6 only since I upgraded to CC (and this problem has been happing before the new mac update to 10.10))

How to make the parent window inactive when a child window is opened

hi everybody, i am chaitanya. i am working on a window based application. there are some action events in it. when an event occurs then a child frame is opened prompting the user to confirm for yes or no.
the problem i got is, when the child window is opened the parent window is also active. I dont want this to happen. please help me to fix this problem.

Use a modal JDialog, or better still given the apps. requirement for input, a JOptionPane. The JOptionPane.showInputDialog() or JOptionPane.showConfirmDialog() methods seem well suited to the task.

How can I disable the event sound played when a new window is opened?

When Firefox starts, or when a new window is opened there is an annoying click.

The only way I have been able to stop it is by disabling all event sounds from the control panel but I'd rather just disable this particular sound.

No, it's Windows XP. Hmmm, I don't know! I only started noticing it recently and as far as I remember, the only new add on is NoScript. I found the event that was being triggered (Start Connection) and disabled the sound in Windows. So the problem is solved in that I don't have the annoying sound ... but don't know why it started and hope nothing sinister is going on.

Firefox should save session when only popup windows is open

When I have some window with multiple tabs open and I click close button on top, it saves the session and quits. Thats ok. But when there is some hidden popup window open (or source code) it destroys the session and leaves the popup open!!!! So the menu is gone and you lose your session. When i restart FF tabs are gone. So it should save session when only some popup windows are open.
Also it should ask what to do when i click close window, when it's unclear what to do

It is always a good idea to close a Firefox session by clicking File > Exit or Firefox button > Exit for proper shutdown.

Cleaned weekly with Clean My Mac2 and running Sophos AntiVirus. 2GB memory installed. Currently 169.99 GB available of 249.2 GB capacity.

When i click a link inside clickbank and some other pages it opens in a window with no page link-just blank-i have set options to open in a new tab.

How do I get flash to stop looping? (And some other problems too)

I'm brand new to flash so cut me a little slack...
I'm in the middle of building a website in Flash CS4 in Action Script 3.0 and (according my the tutorial I'm using) I need to access the "parameters" panel. The problem is I don't see it anywhere. I see "properties" and "filters" but to parameters. I've cycled through all the workspace presets but with no luck. How can I bring it up??
Also, even though I used the "stop();" code in the beginning of my actions frame my movie just keeps looping when I test it. What am I doing wrong?
I've attached the file I'm working on, maybe there's some other problem as well..?

to see the parameters panel drag a component (like the flvplayback component) onto the stage. a parameters panel should appear.
if you have no compiler errors and your swf plays past a stop(), you have other code that's executing after the stop() causing your timeline to advance.

Is there a way to designate automatically returning to your homepage when closing other windows/files/tabs etc.? Could do it on the Mini, but haven't found magic spell for new iMac. Thanks!

If you were able to do it on the Mini you should be able to on an iMac, they use the same versions of OS X. You just have to recall how you set it up.

IN Windows 8 Desktop Mode, Firefox continually puts a background window over a new window when a new window is opened.

I am running Firefox in Windows 8 in Desktop mode. If I have a window open, and then open a new window, the previously opened window will open in front of the window just opened. If there is more than one window open when opening a new window, it is usually the most recently used window that opens in front of the new window, but not always. There can sometimes be a delay as well - I can begin to type in the new window, and the previously opened window will open again. I have tried various Option settings, but nothing seems to prevent this behavior. Occasionally, when I have several windows open at once, two or more windows may open on top of the freshly opened window.

Why do my animated themes only work the first time I open the window? Every one that I have tried stops animating if I close the window and open a new one.

The headline pretty much sums up my problem. Basically, I picked a few different animated themes to try out in the Add-Ons section to personalize my browser window. They look great initially, and in the window that is open when I actually enable the theme. However, if I close that window and open a new one, the theme is stationary and no longer animates.

Sorry......I was just too impulsive. ( Maybe because it was 4 AM at Taiwan, and I was still trying to solve the problem= = )
Although to install the add-on "Personas Shuffler" can solve the problem to me, I don't think it was the BEST solution. This evening, I read why the add-on "Personas Shuffler" was made, and found that the BEST solution is:
1. Open a new tab, and type "about:config" at the URL bar, then search for "lightweightthemes" with the filter.
2. Change the values of "lightweightThemes.persisted.footerURL" and "lightweightThemes.persisted.headerURL" from true to false( by double click on them).
3. After doing so, restart Firefox and you will see it works! You don't have to install any add-on.

When a secondary window should open there is no information in the window. Such as viewing checks from a bank account.

Any time a secondary window should open there is no information showing. For example, when needing to view an electronic version of a check from a bank site when I click on the check another window opens but it is totally blank. And it isn't just one site...it happens on two different bank accounts. It also happens on geocaching.com when I try to load a cache to my GPS and a seperate window needs to open. To do any of these things I must go to IE....which I really hate to do.
