Records alternate between non drop frame and drop frame...

I am seeing a pattern with Premiere records, that alternate the records from being non drop frame to drop frame. So one day we recorded 7 segments. The records ended up coming out like this (without any changes being made between records):
Segment 1 - non drop frame
Segment 2 - drop frame
Segment 3 - non drop frame
Segment 4 - drop frame
Segment 5 - non drop frame
Segment 6 - drop frame
Segment 7 - non drop frame
Is this from a hidden setting we can't find, or is this a known bug?

Mov files dropping video and audio frames CC 2014

I have been experiencing playback issues in Premiere and just got off the phone with Adobe support. It appears that there is known issue with .mov files dropping video and audio frames that will likely be fixed in the next release. My entire project is .mov files and we need to get some serious editing done to complete a rough cut of our film. As a bandaid, we have reverted the playback renderer to software only and I am experimenting with different preview file formats to see if I will have less dropped frames. I want to avoid converting my media from mov files at all costs as this would be very time consuming with over 100 hours of footage.
Please let me know if you have any other workarounds!

non-valuated material (Material Type UNBW):
This type of material is managed on a quantity basis, but not on a value basis. This makes sense for materials of low value, stocks of which nevertheless have to be monitored (for example, operating manuals).
Non-stock material (NLAG) (Material Type NLAG):
Inventory management is not possible for these materials either on a quantity or value basis. For frequently required consumables, the use of this material type nevertheless enables you to store the information required to create
purchasing documents (such as texts and units of measure).
When a material is procured directly for consumption, no material master record is necessary. In connection with consumable materials, you can distinguish between the following cases:
Consumable material without material master record
Consumable material with material master record that is not subject to
inventory management (on either a quantity or value basis)
Consumable material with material master record that is subject to inventory management on a quantity, but not a value, basis

I want to know the exactly when the Kinect gives depth frame and color frame in a period of one frame

Hi, I'm currently using Kinect for Windows v2 to get a blurry sequence of color frames as well as corresponding depth frames.
It seems to me that the depth frame is acquired after the exposure time of the color frame. I am using the sample in the CoordinateMappingBasic to acquire the depth frame and the color frame at the same time.
But as i've found out by the aligned depth map with color frame, i think Kinect gives depth frame at the end of the exposure time of color frame. I've tried to obtain timestamps by calling a function iColorFrame->get_relative_time, and for the same number
the timestamps show that depth frame is acquired prior to color frame, which opposes what i said above..
Is there some way that i can know the exact time the Kinect gives depth frame and color frame in a period of one frame.

Depth is generated based on IR information so when you acquire the frame, that is when it was created. Using the Multisource Frame Reader(MSFR) this does a lot under the covers to align the color and depth frame. If you want to do your own synchronizing,
you can use a polling thread to acquire depth on one and color on the other and do your own mechanism that is similar to MSFR. You will never get Color and Depth to align exactly on a particular timestamp. Since color is its own camera, the only thing
you can be assured of is when the color frame is acquired, the runtime will give you the closest depth frame that will align to it.

I have known how to display i-frame read from a one-frame-only m2v file, which is the epg.m2v in the code below.
but after this, i can't even switch to other channels, seems like machine is hanging, have to reboot.
i am asking what causes this and how to display a p-frame on top of the iframe.

Uneven color between background text frame and underlying frame fill

Hi. I'm using InDesign CS3 on Windows XP.
On my document, the main heading is in a frame with a fill of 'None'. The heading text has a bevel and emboss. The text frame sits on a background A4 frame which is filled with a Pantone spot colour.
When I print the cover page, the color filling the text frame is slightly different from the background Pantone color, even though the text frame has no color fill.
When I checked the document before printing in View>Overprint Preview, it appeared to be fine. The PDF also looked fine. In both situations, I could not discern a color difference but it is there in the printed document.
To provide a color behind the text which matches the fill color of the frame occupying the whole page, what should I do? My gut feel is to select the background frame and the text frame and check the knockout box on the effects panel or something like that.
I hope I have explained sufficiently clearly the problem I am experiencing.

Configuring ALEAUD message between Non - SAP sytem and SAP sytem through XI

We have Scenario like an IDoc would be send to SAP through XI system by a non - sap system and expects the Status of the sent IDoc from SAP system in an Async communication by using ALEAUD message type.
Non SAP <==> XI <==> SAP
We have tried and ending up an error at SAP while the ALEAUD is being sent back.
"No Service for the system <SID> and <Client number> in the Integration Directory"
We are able to successfully send MATMAS IDoc to SAP throgh XI by non - sap system(File Server) but while sending Acknowledgement(ALEAUD)IDoc, it is failing at trfc queue(Status 03). RFC destination and Port and Partner Profile all Ok.
When we configure the same between two R/3 systems as XI between is working fine for the same Scenario but for Non - SAP system to SAP ,it is giving problem.
As we know "ALE audit is only possible for IDocs of type logical system (LS)."
Can't we treat XI system as logical system insted of actual sending system and configure ALEAUD??? We are ending up with the same error above.
Appreciate if anybody throw light???

Hi Ramesh,
In your Integration Directory, in the Sender Business System --> Adapter Specific Identifiers, you have to give the logical name for the business System pointing to the R/3 system. Just try this.

Is anybody having drop-out and dropped call issues?

i'm on my second 8gig iphone and am still having (after 2days) horrible drop-outs on almost every call and dropped calls. the signal is showing full strenght-4bars while this is happening. any ideas? my previous cell (blackberry on att) had perfect reception at all times at same location. drove through the neighborhood this afternoon and same thing. i areas where i used to get perfect reception i now get drop-outs.

you are correct - hence my previous post that my att reception on my previous phone - a blackberry in exact same locations - was perfect. on the other hand i think this must be an isolated incident of bad luck receiving 2 phones in a row that have bad reception. i met at least 10 people at the apple store on friday night that live in my area (within 1/2 mile) and nobody has complained (so far) about reception issues and dropped calls.

Help closing frames and disabling frames

hey, i'm making this type of quiz game and i've got the primary game frame with it's game panel. When the player matches two images on this main panel, another frame with a panel is drawn on top of the main game and asks the user a question, if the user gets the right answer i want it to return back to the game and close the quiz frame. I can't use system.exit(0) when the user gets the correct answer because the whole application shuts down. how do i just close this one? Also, i make a new quiz frame object for each match on the game board, the constructor of the quiz frame takes an int as a parameter which represents the game state and thus which question to ask the user.
So that's just a bit of background information, the two questions i have are:
1. How do i close the quiz frame when the user enters the correct answer without closing the entire game application? As it is my Panel within my quiz frame doing the check to see if the users input is correct, i'd like to be able to close the quiz frame down from this panel. so i'm looking for
something like:
this is just some pseudo code to explain what i want to do

}2. How do disable the primary game while the quiz frame is up and displaying a question to the player? I don't want the player to be able to continue playing the game without first entering the correct answer. and only when they answer correct do I wish the main game to become re-enabled.

Hotkey for "next frame" and "previous frame",or for next and previous layers

Hi,
I'm an animator and I love drawing with Photoshop's brush tools, but to animate I need to "flip" - which is just rapidly switching from one drawing to another, as you would with sheets of actual paper: hunting and clicking on arrows isn't feasible.
Hotkeys, or assignable hotkeys, for next and previous frames in animation - or, simpler, hotkeys for next and previous layers - would solve this problem completely. This simple improvement could make Photoshop a viable animation program, competitive with Plastic Animation Paper and Flipbook.
Is there at least a way I can download an add-on that would do this?

Difference between non deferrable constraint and initially immediate defferable constraint

what is the difference between nondeferrable and initially immediate deferrable constraint. In concepts11g guide it's mentioned that database apply constraint at the end of statement.

There are two concepts here.
First whether or not the constraint can be deferred, That is what the deferrable clause controls. By default all constraints are enforced at the time the statement is issued, that is, when you issue an insert statement, all constraints are checked before the data is actually inserted, and if any constraint checks fail you will receive an error. When a constraint is declared as deferrable, that means that you can put off the constraint checking until the end of the trasnaction (i.e. commit time).
The initially clause determines what the "default" behaviour for a deferrable constraint will be. If you say initially immediate, then it will behave exactly the same as a non-deferrable constraint. If you say initially deferred, then constraint checking will be postponed until the end of the transaction (which could be several different SQL statements). If you have a deferrable constraint, either initially deferred or immediate, you can alter the behaviour for a particular transaction by issueing an alter constraint statement to set either one constraint (by specifiying the constraint name) or all deferrable constraints (by specifying all) to either immediate or deferred. The behaviour will revert back to whatever was defined at the time the constraint was created when you issue a commit ot rollback.

How to setup the connection between non-unicode client and unicode server?

we played the program in 4.6x that call a data from unicode server (ECC6.0) to non-unicode server. ( not played in the unicode server.)
When a program ended that English Character was normal, but Korean Chinease... was unknown text.
I think conversion from unicode to non-unicode is a main reason.
General Notes are issued for the unicode side rfc connection configuration.
but, i want to know how to setup into the non-unicode system to interface with unicode system.

For taht you have to deploy korean and chinese langauges seprately on non unicode system.Then try to connect to the unicode system.It will work for you.

Troubles between non-Unicode R3 and Unicode Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Hi experts,
I'm getting troubles while trying to make a New Data Connection to R3 from Adobe LiveCycle Designer. The error say's "Cannot proccess unicode RFC in non-unicode system (for details see note 875767#)".
I know R3 was configured non-unicode and Adobe is unicode, but non of them let me change this property even in Adobe options or in RFC options. How can I solve this problem without changing unicode R3 kernel configuration?

Any news on a fix for incompatibility between non-apple docks and ios 7?

Neither Bose nor Sony dock will play music after "upgrading" to ios 7. I've seen many complaints on these forums but haven't heard any sort of response from Apple. None of the "fixes" have worked for me. Any news about a patch? Thanks.

Here's what M-Audio's support sent me today:
The iControl Protocol (the protocol by which the iControl Control Surface communicates with Garage Band and Logic) was created by Apple, and the iControl Control Surface was designed by M-Audio to Apple s specifications. The iControl has no drivers to install and is class compliant.
It has happened over the course of Garage Band and Logic development that some updates (both major and incremental) of these applications have had the side effect of changing the way certain features of iControl interact with the Apple software.
Since the iControl was built to Apple s original specifications, and since the device uses no drivers (therefore no M-Audio drivers to update), there is no way for M-Audio to address these issues directly. Any fixes for these issues would have to come in the form of updates to Garage Band or Logic.
That obviously doesn't keep them from marketing and selling it ...
