I Just deleted all of my videos on my ipod touch 4th generation. Can they be recovered? The Ipod has not been backed up and has not been synced on a computer.

Unfortunately, when something is deleted it is gone forever, if you never made a backup.

Why would a program be designed to export photos and not videos if it allowed videos to be imported from a device?? I am beyond devastated. Files should ONLY be allowed to be dragged and dropped instead of having an "export" option. How in the world was I supposed to know my video files would be exported as blank files?? I know I should have checked the backups before deleting the originals from iPhoto, but I figured when a file was exported, it was copied as is to the external HDD. Why would a program be designed to export photos and not videos if it allowed videos to be imported from a device?? I am beyond devastated.
When you import a video iPhoto creates a jpeg preview version of the first frame. When you export it out of iPhoto you only get the actual video file if you select Kind = Original. Either of the other two options give you the prieview image file.
If you have access to the library they may still be in there. Create a smart album with the criteria: Keyword = movie or File Name contains .mov. That should display all movie files in the library. Try the export Kind = Original and see if you can retrieve them.

With all that you've done, there's a very good chance that the files have been overwritten by new files.
However, if you wish to attempt to 'rescue' them, I can recommend (because I've used it on drives that are NOT DAMAGED) Data Rescue 3. $100 to ATTEMPT to recover the files, but if they have so much value to you, it may be worth a try.

Are you talking about iMovie on the iPhone, or iMovie '11? If you used iMovie '11 you had to get your media onto the computer. If you're talking about iMovie on the iPhone I think you want to be on http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1140
I don't know if DriveSavers can work with an iPhone. It involves opening the hard drive in a clean room, and I don't think you can do that with an iPhone drive.

I understand that you would like to recover some deleted videos that were on your iPad mini. There may be a couple of different solutions for this type of situation. If you are using iCloud Photo Library beta on your iPad, deleted photos and videos can be recovered from the Recently Deleted album for 30 days. Please review the attached article for more information on this process.

How does iCloud delete photos and videos from iCloud Photo Library?
Deleting a photo or video from your Photos app will also remove the item from iCloud Photo Library and from your iCloud storage allocation. Photos and videos you remove can be recovered from the Recently Deleted album for 30 days. After 30 days, your content will be removed from the Recently Deleted album. Photos are backed up on our servers for up to 30 days after they're deleted from the Photos app. If you need to recover these photos during that time, contact Apple Support.
If you have have a backup available on either iTunes or iCloud from when those videos were on the device, restoring from that backup may be an option as well. Please refer to the attached article for more information on restoring from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
