Recover photos taken before Setting Up the New iphone from restoring from the old back up

I got my new iphone 6 plus today and took some great and precious photos with it before I got home and get ready to transfer my old files from the old iphone 5.
Then when the iphone 5 back up is done, I was over excited.
When I connects the new iphone 6 plus, itune asked to start as a new phone or to restore from previous back ups.
then I selected restore without remembering that I already took some precious photos with it.
I can hardly see my friends that I took the photo with.
OMG...I want these photos back.
Is there anyway that I can get those photos back?!!!

Sorry, but if the data from your new iPhone6 did not get backed up before you restored it from the backup of the iPhone 5, your data is gone.
Check iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices if there is any backup for the iPhone6 listed. All backups should have a time stamp, backups you used to restore from will not be overwritten and the content will remain the same.
If there is no backup, your photo data is gone.

Is this a new iPhone?
If so, when connecting a new iPhone to iTunes for the first time that has been used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the new iPhone, or set up the new iPhone as a new iPhone.
If you don't want to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device, select set up as a new iPhone. No existing data or settings will be erased or changed when selecting as a new iPhone. Not that difficult or difficult at all.

I have the iPod Touch 3G, 32 GB. I hope to be getting the iPhone 5, 32GB in the next few days.
Just asking if I should set up as new iphone or choose restore from iCloud?
I do want my photo apps and photos to be saved/synched to my iPhone.
Which is the best way/right way to do this?

Whenever I try to sync my 3gs to my laptop itunes only gives me two options: set up as new iphone or restore to a backup. I already mistakenly restored the phone to a previous back up and the options are still the same. I am using itunes 10.4.1.10.

The PC required more work and was delayed by warranty issues. In the meantime I bought a laptop and installed the newest version of Itunes. Itunes recognizes my phone but only comes up as "Set up your Iphone" with two subsequent options: set up as new iphone or restore from back up. I have mistakenly chosen the option to restore it back to July 2, 2011 when I last synced. No big deal, but it will not let me go beyond that screen and I cannot transfer my recovered apps or anything else. Any help on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). You may need to update the software. For now, set up as a new iPhone and then go to Settings > General > Software Update. Update to the latest iOS (5.1.1), then go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to go through setup again and see if your backup appears.

That depends if you want your current data on your new phone, then restore from backup. IF you don't then set up as new.

You must be trying to sync it with a different computer than the one it used last. No, there is no other way to do this.
The iPhone may be synced to one and only one computer at any given time. If you choose to sync it to another, you can do that as often as you wish, but its content is erased first.

This message is displayed if your iOS device has been trying to complete a restore for more than three days. This can occur if your restore has been interrupted due to network connectivity issues or some other problem occurs.

I tried the "Transfer Purchases" option - however this only worked for apps - not sure if I'm missing some sort of setting.
I do not want to use iCloud as I do not have enough space for my music.

You cannot. The music must be in the iTunes library first. See these User Tips:
