Recover problem

Hi, i execute following command and occur error:
recover database until time '2009-01-09 12:26';
ORA-00283: recovery session canceled due to errors
ORA-19907: recovery time or SCN does not belong to recovered incarnation;
How i do solution it?

It seems that the timestamp of the new database is newer than the newest archive. Change the time and try.

  • Oracle 8i database data recover problem

    Hi hi,
    I've recently encountered a problem on how to restoring data from old oracle folders to a new oracle 8i database.
    Originally, my oracle 8i was installed in windows 2000 server on a harddisk (J:\oracle old) separated from that the OS (windows 2000 server) resided. Recently, the harddisk with the OS has been permanantly demaged and I've installed windows 2000 server on a new harddisk (C:\winnt), reinstalled the oracle database (J:\oracle).
    However, is there any way to recover the data from an instance of the original database to the newly created database.
    I will be grateful for any suggestion? Thanks a lot.

    CREATE CONTROLFILE
    Caution:
    Oracle recommends that you perform a full backup of all files in the database before using this statement. For more information, see Oracle9i User-Managed Backup and Recovery Guide.
    Purpose
    Use the CREATE CONTROLFILE statement to re-create a control file in one of the following cases:
    All copies of your existing control files have been lost through media failure.
    You want to change the name of the database.
    You want to change the maximum number of redo log file groups, redo log file members, archived redo log files, datafiles, or instances that can concurrently have the database mounted and open.
    Note:
    If it is necessary to use the CREATE CONTROLFILE statement, do not include in the DATAFILE clause any datafiles in temporary or read-only tablespaces. You can add these types of files to the database later.
    An alternative to the CREATE CONTROLFILE statement is ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE TO TRACE, which generates a SQL script in the trace file to re-create the controlfile. If your database contains any read-only or temporary tablespaces, that SQL script will also contain all the necessary SQL statements to add those files back into the database.

  • Toshiba A205 4777 Recover problem

    Hi,
    I was trying to recover the factory default settings on my Toshiba A205 4777 laptop and it is getting stuck while recovering the files. I tried this serveral times and Iam encountering the same problem. Can anybody help me in solving this issue? is there any problem with the hard disk? pls let me know
    Thanks
    Sai

    Satellite A205-S4617
    The computer freezes up randomly..
    ..with the recovery factory disk, bringing the computer to the original configuration (out of the box state) (Problem not solved)
    If it happens just after restoring the hard disk to its original contents, then it's surely due to a hardware malfunction.
    Test the memory.
       How do I know if my computer has a memory problem?

  • Media Recover Problem

    Can I recover the datafile in non-archive mode ?
    Thank !!

    Its possible to recover datafile in noarchive mode if the redolog files have nt overwritten when the datafile is backed up last time. Assume u backed up datafile yesterday and u dint do many transactions on the database to overwrite the redolog files then u can recover but, I dont think thts generally possible on production database. One more way is to restore the lastbackup alongwith controlfile but this results in dataloss. Usually recovery is possible when the database is in archivelog mode.

    if the bios is corrupted, standard flash/recovery will not works because it cannot save the MAC from Gbe region,
    and will refuse to flash it.
    therefor you have to do a full reflash with "-savemac" option removed.
    use this one archive and follow the same flash steps:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/6iliezfcff39h24/E7888IMS.180_No_MAC.rar?dl=0
    once flashing is done and bios works fine, use this guide:
    http://service.msicomputer.com/msi_user/support/TechFAQdetail.aspx?formid=2993
    to restore MAC address
    and this utility: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mrxtkw1bdpudh50/Eeupdate.rar?dl=0
    sounds like that you may also tried to flash the wrong bios
    Z97 Mpower            ==> E7915IMS.1xx
    Z97 Mpower Max Ac ==> E7888IMS.1xx
    Thanks my friend I have two working bios of you.

  • Problems while creating a physical Standby

    Hi,
    I am trying to setup a physical standby database with oracle 10g.
    I configured a specific log archive destination:
    LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_3 = 'SERVICE=ORAMPSEC REOPEN=60 MAX_FAILURE=3 LGWR SYNC
    VALID_FOR=(ONLINE_LOGFILES,PRIMARY_ROLE) DB_UNIQUE_NAME=ORAMPSEC'
    The service is reachable via network.
    To establish the standby database I copied all datafiles from the primary database using scp. I also created a standby controlfile and a modified pfile. In addition I added a standby redo logfile which has the same size as the online redo log files on the primary database.
    After starting the standby database in open read only mode I receive the following error message:
    Database mounted.
    ORA-16004: backup database requires recovery
    ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
    ORA-01110: data file 1: '/oradata/ORAMPPRD/data/system01.dbf'
    I tried to recover using "recover standby database" I receive the following message:
    ORA-00279: change 884348 generated at 07/18/2006 17:08:07 needed for thread 1
    ORA-00289: suggestion : /oradata/ORAMPPRD/archive/1_30_595767954.dbf
    ORA-00280: change 884348 for thread 1 is in sequence #30
    Specify log: {<RET>=suggested | filename | AUTO | CANCEL}
    Although I transmitted all archived log files from the primary database the archived log file mentioned above is not available. After hitting RETURN I get this message:

    Nothing known about the *30*dbf file.
    Although there still seems to be something wrong, the archived log file transmission seems to work since there is no error reported on the log archive destination:
    SQL> select status, error from v$archive_dest where dest_id = 3;
    STATUS ERROR
    VALID
    And after I manually force a log switch I see that archived redo logs were applied on the standby database:
    select sequence#, applied from v$archived_log order by sequence#;
    SEQUENCE# APPLIED
    27 YES
    28 NO
    28 YES
    29 NO
    29 YES
    Unfortunately because of the recovering problem I cannot open the database to see if the changes were applied. So my first question is, how can I get the standby database completely recovered ??
    In addition to this I was expecting that the changes to the standby database were made immediately since I choosed LGWR sync but I have to manually force the logfile switch. As I already mentioned a standby redo log file is available as well.
    Thanks for your help,
    Philipp.

    Hi,
    since it does not seem to work with just copying the datafiles I switched to RMAN. I created a full database backup from Enterprise Manager. Similiar to http://dizwell.com/main/content/view/81/122/1/1/ I tried to duplicate the database to the standby instance (running on a different server). But unfortunately I receive error messages that the files, previously created, cannot be found:
    channel d1: starting datafile backupset restore channel d1: specifying datafile(s) to restore from backup set restoring datafile 00001 to /oradata/ORAMPPRD/data/1.dbf restoring datafile 00002 to /oradata/ORAMPPRD/data/2.dbf restoring datafile 00003 to /oradata/ORAMPPRD/data/3.dbf restoring datafile 00004 to /oradata/ORAMPPRD/data/4.dbf channel d1: reading from backup piece /opt/oracle/ora10/product/10.2.0.1.0/dbs/0bhoiq60_1_1
    ORA-19870: error reading backup
    piece /opt/oracle/ora10/product/10.2.0.1.0/dbs/0bhoiq60_1_1
    ORA-19505: failed to identify file
    "/opt/oracle/ora10/product/10.2.0.1.0/dbs/0bhoiq60_1_1"
    ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
    SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory Additional information: 3 failover to previous backup
    But when I crosscheck my backup inside RMAN it clearly shows the backup files:
    RMAN> crosscheck backup;
    backup piece
    handle=/opt/oracle/ora10/product/10.2.0.1.0/dbs/0bhoiq60_1_1 recid=7
    stamp=596207811
    crosschecked backup piece: found to be 'AVAILABLE'
    I already checked the file permissions, everybody on the system is able to access this file.
    Do you know what is going wrong here ??
    Cheers,
    Philipp.

  • Possible to have CS6 Mac auto-update?

    on a Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks)
    using CS6 (not creative cloud)
    whenever there's an update, the AAM puts an icon in my menubar. i have to click it & tell it to go ahead with an update.
    is it possible to set this to just DO the updates without the icon or any notification?
    the Flash Player (that's in System Preferences) has this setting & does this in the background. i would like all my adobe products to do this.
    is that possible?
    thanks!

    Oops, I missed answering that part.
    You can make PV2010 the default if you want, but don't give up on PV2012 just yet - it has amazing capabilities to recover problem images.  You can get back more than you can imagine from overexposed parts, and you can crank sliders all the way to their limits and still get good results.

  • Crashing causes in RH8?

    Hi
    A collegue is completing her first project in RH 8.0.2 and is getting regular crashes resulting in many hours of work being lost.
    I''ve tried to recover problems as much as I can but it still crashes regularly.
    Is there a list of known things that cause memory problems. For instance I see that she has very long .htm file names, could this be a cause?
    Anyway she is pulling her hair out and wants to use a different application.
    Any help on what to look for appreciated.
    Nick.

    Hi Peter,
    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
    It was started in 802. It's a local project being created on a system running Windows XP.
    Just doing some forensics and it seems to happen when editing 2 particular pages.
    When I recovered the file the pages had to be re-imported this caused the project to crash again.
    So instead of re-importing I recreated the .fpj file - again this caused it to crash.
    I shortened the file names and recreated the .fpj file again - this worked and I've been able to edit the pages, save the project and re-open it again.
    I also noticed the pages use 2 variables - 'range' and 'Range' - could this cause a possible problem.
    Nick.

  • Problem with MacMail on MacBook Air - mail with 32MB attachment appearing in "recovered messages" folder every 12 seconds

    Problem with MacMail on MacBook Air
    3 days ago I failed to send a mail with a large (32MB) attachment - and it is no longer in my outbox, draft mails or sent file.
    BUT a copy of this same mail now appears every about 15 seconds in my "recovered messages" folder
    I noticed when I received a system error saying I had a disk almost full issue - there were over 580 copies of the mail with 32MB attachment in the "recovered messages file"
    I deleted them all, and deleted the Trash
    BUT the message still keeps re-appearing every 15 seconds or so.  So I keep deleting them.

  • In Mail, one mailbox for Recovered Message (AOL) keeps showing 1 very large message that I cannot delete. How can I get rid of this recurring problem, please?

    In Mail on iMac, successfully running OS X Lion, one mailbox on My Mac for "Recovered Messages (from AOL)" keeps showing 1 very large message (more than 20 Mb) that I just cannot seem to delete. Each time I go into my In Box, the "loading" symbol spins and the message appears in the "Recovered Messages" mailbox. How can I get rid of this recurrent file, please?
    At the same time, I'm not receviving any new mails in my In Box, although, if I look at the same account on my MacBook Pro, I can indeed see the incoming mails (but on that machine I do not have the "recovery" problem).
    The help of a clear-thinking Apple fan would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks.
    From Ian in Paris, France

    Ian
    I worked it out.
    Unhide your hidden files ( I used a widget from http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/developer/hiddenfiles.html)
    Go to your HD.
    Go to Users.
    Go to your House (home)
    there should be a hidden Library folder there (it will be transparent)
    Go to Mail in this folder
    The next folder ( for me ) is V2
    Click on that and the next one will be a whole list of your mail servers, and one folder called Mailboxes
    Click on that and there should be a folder called recovered messages (server) . mbox
    Click on that there a random numbered/lettered folder -> data
    In that data folder is a list of random numbered folders (i.e a folder called 2, one called 9 etc) and in EACH of these, another numbered folder, and then a folder called messages.
    In the messages folder delete all of the ebmx (I think that's what they were from memory, sorry I forgot as I already deleted my trash after my golden moment).
    This was GOLDEN for me. Reason being, when I went to delete my "recovered file" in mail, it would give me an error message " cannot delete 2500 files". I knew it was only 1 file so this was weird. Why 2500 files? Because if you click on the ebmx files like I did, hey presto, it turned out that they were ALL THE SAME MESSAGE = 2500 times. In each of those folders in the random numbers, in their related message folder.
    Now remember - DONT delete the folder, make sure you have gone to the message folder, found all those pesky ebmx files and deleted THOSE, not the folder.
    It worked for me. No restarting or anything. And recovered file. GONE.
    Started receiving and syncing mail again. Woohoo.
    Best wishes.

    You appear to have two issues: 1) a hard drive that is not working properly and 2) files you wish to recover.
    Re 1) you need to answer Kappy's questions.
    Re 2) does the drive load and can you see your photo files? If so can you copy them to another drive?
    Do you not have a backup of the photo files?

  • TS1398 my password for my wiifi on my ipod touch isnt working for some reason, i tried all my passwords and nothing is working, i never had a problem before please help. is there a way to somehow recover it or change the password.

    For music problem:
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
      - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    For wifi
    Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
    Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
    .- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • Problem in recover physical standby database(Data Guard) by rman

    Hello to all
    I have created a physical standby database ,I want make backup of it by rman and when I lose it's datafile I can restore it ,making backup and restore is fine but in recovery I encounter some problem
    scenarios is follow
    1- In rman I create a backup of standby database by this command:
    backup database plus archivelog delete all input;
    2- I run this comman in rman for recover standby database
    run{
    2> set until scn 1392701;
    3> restore database;
    4> recover database;
    5> }
    (1392701 is extracted from this query "SELECT MAX(NEXT_CHANGE#)+1 UNTIL_SCN FROM V$LOG_HISTORY LH,
    V$DATABASE DB WHERE LH.RESETLOGS_CHANGE#=DB.RESETLOGS_CHANGE# AND LH.RESETLOGS_TIME =
    DB.RESETLOGS_TIME;" "http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/rman.htm")
    but RMAN result is like this:

    hi
    I myself have found the solution , when I recover the standby database
    it do recovery but at the end of recovery it raise the error(RMAN-06054: media recovery requesting unknown log: thread 1
    seq 118 lowscn 1392700) but if I begain redo apply before open the database
    and I wait till all redo apply process start and communication between the
    standby database and the primary database start, then I can
    open the standby database and no error will raise
    but if befor restarting redo apply I open the database I'll recieve the
    ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
    ORA-01110: data file 1: '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/sari/system01.dbf' error
    thanks
