Recover the Datafile without any backup
Hi,
I am new in oracle database.
I have created a new database.
database is in no archivelog mode.
last night one of my sysaux datafile is currepted.
is there any method to repair my sysaux datafile.
the database is in mount mode.how can i open my db??

You have already posted here so please note, always mention your o/s and 4 digit version number of the db with your post.
Second, with no archivelog mode and no backup, you can't do the recovery . You should dump this database and recreate a new one.

Oracle 10.2.0
We have a problem in our database.
One of our datafile was missing in the location.
Database is in open mode. We dont have any backup of that physical file.
Is there anyway to restore that datafile without backup.
Plz Advice.....

Can you check if this file is physically present.
If its archive log file and not present physically do this

log can be determined from the following query:
SELECT MEMBER
FROM V$LOGFILE F,
V$LOG L
WHERE L.STATUS = 'CURRENT'
AND L.GROUP# = F.GROUP#;
Once you know the current log, restart the recovery procedure and provide the
path to the log when prompted:

How to resolve of corruption of undotbs without any backup and DB in Noarch
Hi Guys,
On one of my database having block corruption error, as no backup is availabe and its in noarchive mode. Previously It might be in "archvie mode"
but when access comes to me it was in no archvie mode.
database is down, when I run "startup" cmd on sqlprompt it give error as below:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
and when check with alert.log file it gives as below error: corrupton of undotbs.
ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 2, block # 9)
ORA-01110: data file 2: 'D:\ORACLE\TEST1\UNDOTBS01.DBF'
---I also try with below steps:
1) first take coldbackup
2) create pfile from spfile and change parameters :
undo_management to manual
comment out undo_tablespace and undo_retention
3) add one parameter as below:
allowresetlogs_corruption=true
4) add one more parameter :
corruptedrollback_segment=(_SYSSMU1$,_SYSSMU2$,_SYSSMU3$,_SYSSMU4$,_SYSSMU5$)
3) mount with pfile
4) recover database until cancel
cancel
5) alter database open resetlogs;
but the same error :(

You have already fingers burnt of yours, don't make the complete hand getting burnt by using these parameters without consent of OSS. Raise an SR to oracle and do what they say.

Are you trying to run it in the open stage ? If you are in Noarchive mode, you can't run backup related commands in open stage.Run it in the mount stage.

I have an Iphone 5S and used to sync it to my computer in the past without any problem, but now I can't, and appears the message "usb device not recognized", and the cable is good and so the USB port. Do you have any idea what's the problem?
Try leaving it plugged in and then restart the computer.

Hi, I have a new laptop and would like to syncronise my iphone with iTunes (which I have installed again). But my old laptop has died so I could not transfer any media files, etc. Can I simply connect my iPhone to the laptop without any data being lost?

dianneb, great question and thanks for the help Weth. The good news is if you're on More Everything the mobile hotspot would be apart of your plan just as Weth mentioned. What you just want to keep in mind is that the usage from the tablet while connected to the hotspot would take from your current plan allowance. Hope this helps!

however, when I chose the "internet sharing" box, safari failed to connect to the internet.

I started to rebuild one secondary server ,at the middle it is freezed. Prerequisite is passed, downloaded the bootstrap without any issues.

My volume on my iPad doesnt work, when I press the voulme button it shows the headphones volume on the screen without any headphones being plugged in. Is there a fix for this?
Try going to settings> general > reset> reset all settings. If that doesn't work. Place a headphone jack in there and just pull it out a couple times. The problem is either your iPad setting is stuck or there is actually a hardware problem and moving the jack in and out might fix it

You can't recover it withou buying it again. You should be backing up purchased films in iTunes on your computer. iCloud does not work with purchased films. Apple does not have the rights from the movie studios to allow for them to let you download it again for free.
