Recovering a lost playlist
I have recently downloaded the iTunes update and my recently added playlist is gone, can i recover it?
Create a smart playlist with rule that item was added in the last two weeks (or whatever you like).

If not, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to get this sorted out for you. Unfortunately duplicate accounts aren't something that can be easily fixed here on the community if they are related to Facebook created accounts.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I recover a lost playlist?
Ok so here is the background story:
I recently was messing around with my iPhone's playlists and accidently deleted an important one.
It was still, however, located on my computer so I simply reconnected my iPhone 5s to resync it but to my shock the playlist was deleted off both devices.
I frantically searched for solutions and have already tried multiple.
The removing of the itunes library folders and re importing them only restored a part of the playlist. 40 percent of the songs on it are still missing.
Is there any other place where i might be able to find the playlist and full recover 100 percent of it??
I need any help please this was and still is a very important playlst.

Thanks!!Thanks for the idea, fruhulda. I just checked (Jul 18) and the "missing" font is there. However, yesterday I tried a full restart of my computer, and it seemed to fix (?) the problem, so I still am not sure what happened. At any rate, the problem is now gone.

I just opened up iTunes and everything was gone...Music, Apps, Pics and Playlists?
I had the itunes software search my computer for music and recovered that, but I really want to know if I can recover my playlists through the computer?
Also when I sync my ipod to the computer will the ipod restore the playlists or will I lose them from the ipod?See this post.

Lost Playlists and Charged for Premium
I want to try and retrieve my playlist, went through instructions that were provided for recovery but nothing changed, still no playlist. Also I'm on a Trial mode, upgraded to Premium and still not able to listen freely after being charged on my card. How do I recove my lost playlist and how can I upgrade without reinstalling again, I've done it twice already??? Azuri2

Am I correct that you didn't receive the premium you payed for? If so, contact the payments team through the online contact form and they can definitely sort this out. If you receive an automated e-mail directing you back to the community, just reply to it and you will be connected with an agent! :) -
Is there a way to recover my iTunes playlists?
I bought a new MacBook Pro a few months back and I have backups of my old MacBook Pro, and I was wondering if there is any way I can recover my old playlists from iTunes. I had about 50 playlists that I used on my old iTunes, and now I have 1 that took me a long time to re-create. I also lost all of my play counts and was wondering about those too. I have 9,000 plus songs that I listened to at least 5 times each, now I am at 0 on over half of these songs. I know it's no big deal, but it was kind of cool. Any help would be appreciated.

You can simply copy the 4 files higlighted in the picture below from your backup to the iTunes folder (in yourusername/Music).
You will retrieve your ratings and everything related to your playlists. I did this 2 weeks ago and it worked. -

Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps youshouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl - start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See MusicFolder Files Not Added and Super Remove Dead Tracks for tools to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

Put H.Drive with iTunes onto new computer...lost playlist and ratings
My main computer that had iTunes on it crashed the other day, my motherboard was fried. So I put the hard drive with the iTunes into another computer. The iTune files are not corrupted, but I have lost my playlist and ratings.
Is there a way to recover my old playlist and ratings?Yes there may be.
iTunes operates as a database of information for your music files. The actual music files are stored on your PC, not within iTunes. iTunes keeps absolute references of the music file location and other information in its database file. This allows iTunes to use music files from any location on the PC: different directories/folders on the main HD, another internal drive, an external drive, or a network drive (or any combination of the above).
Each song reference has a specific and hardcoded location (both drive letter & path) so iTunes can find and play (or sync) it. Move the file, change the path, re-map the drive it is on, shut down or remove the Drive, and iTunes will lose the file (giving you the '!' of a ‘Broken Link’). Lose, move or corrupt the ‘iTunes Music.itl’ file and your complete Library will ‘vanish’.
If you delete, corrupt, or otherwise lose your ‘iTunes Library.itl’ file, you will end up with a ‘blank’ Library within iTunes. Nine times out of ten, your underlying music files are still on the PC. They can be ‘re-Added’ via the File==>Add Folder/File menu command, but you will lose some of the music meta-data. Recovering your Library via backup copies of the iTunes database file, or from importing the XML file is always preferable.
By your placing the previous C: drive (I'm assuming) into another PC now reading it as the H: drive, iTunes is either looking at a blank Library database file, or reading the old one, but looking for the music on the C: drive where it was before (I'll guess the former).
IF you can put all the music on the C: drive into the exact same path as it was previously
AND you can place a copy of your previous ITL database file into the '..\My Music\iTunes' folder on the C: drive
THEN when you open iTunes, it should restore your complete Library.
Post back if you have questions or if you need to clarify your exact HD situation (I may have misread your meaning...). -

How do I recover a "lost" font in Pages? The font file appears to exist in my MS Office area.
How do I recover a lost font in pages? The font management process seems very opaque, lots of areas on the hard drive with font folders. None seems to match the list of fonts I can pull down from the font menu in Pages. At the moment, the font I need is Century Gothic, which does reside in the MS Office area, but nowhere else that I can find. Would greatly appreciate help!

i recently have ipad but before i sell it i made a back up of it and by an iphone when i put all the date on my iphone some files and software did not install is there anything i can do to recover the lost data? please help
I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this. -

If you don't have them backed up somewhere, then there's little possibility of recovering them. There are some utilities that can in some cases recover an inadvertently-deleted photo, but I've found none that can recover photos or other data from an iPad that was erased as part of an iOS upgrade. You can do a web search for something like "iPhone photo recovery" and you'll find some utilities you can try.

No I did not make a copy of my address book.
Some information was moved over, many did not.
I do not see a pattern.
I think all the info is still on the hard drive, I just don't know how to recover it.
