Recovering calender from blackberry to outlook.

Basically I have lost all my calender events in outlook 2003. They are still on my blackberry curve and I want to move them over to my outlook, is that possible? I have desktop manager v4.7 and see not option or information on how to do this.

Desktop Manager > Sync.
Step 1 Install Blackberry Desktop Manager Manager from
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
Step2
Connect blackberry to your PC using a USB cable and let blackberry device driver install. When device driver install is complete, it will alert "hardware installed successfully" in your windows task tray.
Step3
Run Blackberry Desktop software and choose SYNCHRONIZE option.
Step4
Now choose CONFIGURE and you may select CONTACTS, CALENDAR, NOTES, and TASKS databases by clicking check boxes next to each. After you select each item, it will ask which application you would like to sync it with, you will choose OUTLOOK for all.
Step5
Now click OK out of all windows until you are at the main blackberry desktop manager screen. click SYNCHRONIZE. Make sure that the SYCHRONIZE ORGANIZER DATA check box is checked. Now click SYNCHRONIZE NOW to begin synchronization.

we've had a probelem yesterday with our exchange, some mai were delete in Outlook but there still on the blackberry, I've look at the desktop software but I don't see anything,
I would like to be able to move the email from the blackberry to Outlook,

Hmmm...so, you've already successfully migrated the messages to a non-BES BB. OK. So is that Outlook totally disconnected from Exchange as well? I wish I could test this for you...I thought that there was a way to do a 1-way synch from the BB to Outlook. But, again, I've not done this so this is all theory right now...your work will prove it out or not.
Hmmm...perhaps synchronization isn't the best way. The IPD file that you used to migrate the data from the actual BB to this non-BES BB...that file is not natively readable by anything but the RIM desktop software (for use in restore). But, I have heard about (though never used) 3rd party apps that can parse that file and extract information. Perhaps you can seek those out? The only one I can recall is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)...but I don't know if it's available anymore. You might find something (probably not free) that could get what you need from the IPD file though.

Migrate the email from Blackberry to outlook

Hi
I use the pop3 email service to receiving the email on my BB, I would like to migrate the email from my BB to my outlook (pst file). I have installed the desktop software, but the intellisync can't choose the email for sync. Is there any way can achieve it ? Thanks

BIS doesnt actually download email from your POP3 account, it will still exist on the server so just setup the POP3 account in outlook and download the email directly. If you still wish to keep the email on your blackberry ensure you tick the option "leave mail on server" in the account options in Outlook.

Please help with Synch from Blackberry to Outlook

Hello Everybody, I am new here and need help. Due to a restructure, my position was eliminated. The company used Lotus Notes and I had everything synched with my Blackberry and it worked fine. Of course, I had to return the Blackberry but did get a copy of the data (address book, calendar entries, and memo notes as well as e-mail).
I bought Outlook and am using my wife's older BB (I think it is an 8700 series based on pictures.) I was able to get the address book loaded somehow into Outlook, but when I try to do a full synch, I get the following error after Intellisync does read the calendar records:
"No Outlook or MS Exhchange folders appear to be configured. Please run Intellisync Configure, and make sure all selected applications have associated Outlook/MS Exchange folder."
I have tried to configure but I am not able to "browse" for a file. That area is grayed out.

Close enough. Seen it done in the tutorials. There's a way to select the desired clips, directly open a new AE project and comp from Premiere with those clips exactly as they are in the Premiere sequence, do your manipulations in AE, then when you switch back to Premiere, those AE changes show up on the clips in question. You effectively get Premiere>AE>Premiere. Any and all changes made in AE show up in Premiere. The only thing you can't yet do is make changes to the original clips in Premiere, as they get replaced by the AE comp.
Still, I'd call that two way DL, and it may be the most efficient way to ge this job done.
Potato, Potahto. Smoke and mirrors. The only difference between that and the copy/paste that I described above is that Premiere automatically does the copy/paste for you, and automatically adds the AE comp to the sequence as a replacement for the selected clips. You can call that 2-way DL if you want, but I won't. I'm pushing for real 2-way dynamic linking.

Appointments fail to sync from Blackberry to Outlook

PIM is set for sync between Blackberry and Computer but appointments created on my Blackberry will not sync (missed one this morning). Any suggestion on how to make these sync to outlook?

When you set up the sync configuration, make sure that on your EMail you click to have sync go both ways: Outlook to BB and vice versa.
That was the problem I had with my first time setting up the sync config. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Sync sent folder from blackberry to outlook

Pleases guide me how to sync the outlook mail which sent from the handset to outlook desktop..

I'm using Outlook 2013Account settings for:Outlook.com = Exchange ActiveSyncgmail.com = IMAP/SMTP I do have a problem with sending mail from pc via gmail account, sent mail does not appear in the Sent box but does appear in my phone's Sent box. I bypassed this by creating a rule to send a copy to Sent box. I think this is a gmail glitch.

TS3991 When I try to use Outlook Setup for the iCloud on my PC I get an error message at step 2 of 7 Download Calender from iCloud as follows: "your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error"

When I try to set up MS Outlook using Outlook Setup for Icloud it fails at step 2 of 7 Download Calender from iCloud with error message "your setup could not be started because of an unexpected error" My iCloud calender in Outlook had previously been working, but was not reflecting the same scheduling information, so I tried to delete it and reinstall using the Outlook Setup for iCloud.
How can I get it to work again?

Deleted past calender history in Microsoft Outlook

Hello
I have only had my Blackberry for a couple of weeks.
I have syncronized the device to Microsoft Outlook on my laptop, when i went to look through some things in my calender from last year i discovered that everyting before January this year has been deleted!
I believe it is something to do with the sync, i have virus scanned my laptop and it has come back clear, Can anybody help me recover this?

How you setup the calendar sync between your device and your pc? Two ways, the device overwrite the pc, and transfer only the future entries?

Hi there!
With the limited information in your post ("unable to transfer" is pretty sparse information), I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
5) Install DTM to your PC
6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
7) Start the organizer configuration over:

Trying to recover my stolen BlackBerry Z30

My BlackBerry Z30 was recently stolen and it is very important that I recover it.
GPS and BlackBerry Protect were both on before the phone was stolen, however when I try to track it through my computer it gives me a message saying it was last seen at my school 5 days ago and it wouldn't update the phone's location saying it will, as soon as the phone connects to wireless network (which is highly unlikely).
Same problem when I try to use any other feature from BlackBerry Protect.
Can anyone help me find or connect to my phone in anyway even though it's turned off?
Any kind of help is appreciated!

If the device does not have a active wireless connection you will not be able to use BlackBerry Protect to locate the device.
With that being said, if you haven’t already I would recommend contacting your wireless provider and ensuring service to that device is shut off.

How do I get my calendar syncd from Blackberry to PC????

Hello,
I have loaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager onto my PC, and I cannot work out how I get the calender from my Blackberry to show up on my computer, - I cannot find it in Media Manager am I looking in the wrong place? Can someone please tell me which application I need to use on Blackberry Desktop Manager to make this happen? and the instructions to follow from there?

Transfer all data from blackberry bold 9780 to iPhone 5

I have a iPhone 5 16 GB recently purchased, I need to transfer all data from the Black Berry Bold.
I need all contacts, documents, pics, E-Mail set-up etc. basically everything.
I need a seamless transition from one to the other. I have not even opened up the iPhone box yet.
Does anyone have a simple easy way to do this?
Only thing I have to work with is the iPad!
Was thinking of iCloud but have no Wi-Fi connection here.

If anyone is still struggling with this problem for the iphone 5 I just figured out how to fix it! it wasn’t easy because google sync doesn’t work on a blackberry anymore and outlook doesn’t help if you don’t got it so I had to go the long way and spend 2hrs of my time figuring it out while the actual solution only takes 5 mins!
So I downloaded an app called "Phone to Phone transfer" there’s other apps like this one but this is the only one that’s available on both blackberry and iOS so its the one I used and it worked, read: 3 steps to transfer all contacts from BlackBerry to iPhone 5
1) Download the app on your blackberry and sign-up for an account i used an email i barely use and its free so it was all quick and easy
2) Sync your contacts on your blackberry using the app
3) Download the same app this time on your iPhone and use the same log-in details as you used when you signed up on your blackberry
4) Sync contacts again and press download and... that’s it! all your contacts are now on your new iPhone.

How can I save email from GS3 to outlook folders at office?

Blackberry had a handy feature in which you could save email from BB to Outlook folders on the office computer. I cannot find anything similar on the GS3. Is there a way to accomplish this?

BB created a dedicated network connection to handle transactions like that to keep it secure, Android doesn't have anything like that so you have to trust a 3rd party company to do this for you and at this time I do not think there is any that has a secure method of doing this.

Well, the only solution would be if you had been syncing the contacts to a supported application on the computer or to iCloud. You can update the 3GS to iOS 6.1.3, but you could not use the backup from the iPhone 5, since it was probably on iOS 6.1.4. The sync is your only solution.

Blackberry TO Outlook

Is there any way to get blackberry curve data into Outlook 2007? I have stuff on my blackberry that would be far easier to edit and work with on the PC in an application like Outlook and then export it back to the curve. I see plenty of posts about exporting from palm or outlook to the blackberry, but I haven't seen anything about importing to Outlook or Palm.
