Recovering changes made in develop

I just finished editing 458 dng files in develop. I had not saved metadata to original files on disc. I selected all pictures to do a slideshow and review all changes. After exiting the slideshow, I saw a photo I wanted deleted but inadvertantly sent all files to the windows recycling bin. I thought, no problem, I'll just restore, but then none of my editing showed (I realized after a cooling off period that I hadn't saved any changes to the original files). My question is: Is any of the data temporaily stored in Lightroom and can it be re-attached to the files?
John

If you backed up your catalog after editing, but before deleting, it would help - otherwise: not so much.
Generally, xmp (aka saved metadata) is the way to go when you have just made a bunch of changes you don't want to lose - live and learn...
I save xmp as I work, and only backup the catalog 1/week, (more often if special circumstances warrant).
Some people prefer to save xmp automatically so they don't forget (I don't do it that way - it has it's own potential for problems), but in case you weren't aware: it is an option.

    Hi,
           i have changed 5 lines of code of existing report and saved it in DR1(Development) with request no and then moved it to QAT.
    For that i have sent mail to basis guy.  And i have get confirmation from basis guy that it is moved to QAT.  But until now the changes i have made are not reflected in QAT.  Can any body help about this problem imm.
    Syed.
    voice: +91-9986861730.

    Hi,
    What you can do is
    Login to QAT and then goto transaction SE09, there check if your transport has arrived.
    You can also check in DR1, going to SE09 if the transport has reached the system in the LOG.
    There you will see if it has reached QAT, if it has reached then check in the request object list of the object you have modifed is there or not.

  • Report for the changes made in Purchase Order

    Hi Friends,
    In my location, changes are made to the purchase orders as and when required. Is there any report which shows the changes made to the Purchase Orders?? I am aware of the Item changes option in the Purchase Order.
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,

    Hi,
    You have to develope an own ABAP report for this, based on the change tables CDHDR and CDPOS
    CDHDR - Header Change
    CDPOS - Item Change
    EREV - Version Change
    Check the link

  • How to track changes made in the ERD in oracle designer

    I want to track all changes made in my ERD in oracle 10g designer. Please suggest how to achieve it.
    use case: An ERD was approved in design phase. Few changes were made by development team and now in Implementation phase I need to track what all changes were made from say 3-Jan-12 to 3-Mar-2012
    Edited by: 909570 on Mar 5, 2012 1:14 PM
    To add here:
    Designer Version is 10.1.2.0.2.
    1. In my project versioning of ER is not being used so ER Version diff is not an option for me.
    2. In Reports, there are options for getting all entities, attributes which are created/modified in a period. But it seems it is not giving me correct results.
    Edited by: 909570 on Mar 5, 2012 1:14 PM

    Since versioning if off, there is no way to track changes.
    You can get a rough overview of possible changes by looking at the audit attributes (date created, date modified) in the properties palette, but that is already mentioned in your point 2.
    Basically, developers should comment what they added/modified.

  • Changes made in LR 1.3 to psd files are not reflected in ACR 4.3, Bridge 2.1.1.9, or Photoshop CS3

    I have repeatedly imported several psd images into LR 1.3, made changes in the develop mode, and saved metadata to file manually in addition to having the auto write metadata option on in LR and ACR. Any changes I have made in LR are not reflecting in Bridge previews or in ACR or Photoshop. I don't believe I should have to utilize the write to xmp options (even though I have been) since the files in question are psd and the metadata gets written directly into the file. If I delete the photo from LR, and even delete the LR catalog (new user trying to make it work with 1 photo at least before importing all images) and re-import the psd to LR it appears with the changes and can backlog in the history panel to it's original state upon import into LR. I would have to be in LR though to know that anything was altered as the other Adobe programs will not display the changes.
    If anyone has any help - I would greatly appreciate it!
    Thanks,
    Ann

    Windows Vista 32 bit
    ACR 4.3
    LR 1.3
    Bridge 2.1.1.9
    PS CS3 (updated last week)

    I don't think the problem lies in the name. LR is after all meant to function as a data base of images and be a companion program to PS - with PS doing the heavy editing lifting. I do understand that PS is a pixel editing file and LR is not. I like the idea of the non-destructive editing that LR has to offer and for a lot of image "developing" I prefer LR's interface to ACR.
    In my humble opinion, I just think that the Photoshop family of products should all be able to read the same metadata. If I am starting in LR with a psd file (with layers) and I continue to process the image further in LR and save the metadata - therefore saving the changes - I want to be able to open that same file (not another copy) in ACR, PS, or Bridge and have those changes reflected. The only way to do that currently is to export the file and when you do that you lose the PS layers and the LR history panel or another way around it is you can have edit copies of the same file. If at a later date you wanted to go back and change something, you can't just pull out a layer in PS or undo a history state in LR and with the multiple copies of essentially the same image you end us with any editing history scattered amongst multiple files. I already keep 2-4 (original, psd, jpeg print, jpeg web) files for one image which I think is more than adequate. Which is why I find the current set up so frustrating. For now I have just settled for exporting jpegs so I can see the changes.

  • Tracking changes made to the finance quotation(CRMD_ORDER) line item

    Hi All,
    I want to track or identify changes made to the line item of a Finance quotation in Transaction CRMD_ORDER. User may change any where(any tab) at line item level.
    I found that CRM_ORDER_READ function module has one import parameter IV_ONLY_CHANGED_OBJ. I tried to make use of this, but could not identify the changes.
    Appreciate if anyone can provide me a better solution.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Xcelsius 2008 - Unable to preview changes made in design mode

    Xcelsius 2008 - Unable to preview changes made in design mode
    I have installed Xcelsius 2008 (RTM) and also Service Pack 1 / Fix Pack 1.1.  Unfortunately, I can now not preview changes I made in design mode (but can see the change in design mode).  In addition, if I save the changes made to the Excel spreadsheet (using this as the datasource) and then exit out of the application, then go back in, the changes have not been saved?!
    I have also installed Fix Pack 1.3, but the same issues occurs.
    This is causing us issues as we have developed a number of dashboards that can no longer be updated.
    Please could someone advise?
    Many thanks,
    Neil.

    I would recommend decomposing large sets into more manageable sets.  For instance, if you have data for a very large regional district, decompose the data into smaller sets for sub-districts.
    As for a paper, I'm not sure, but the main determinant of performance is how many cells you bind to the component.  For a typical component on a typical computer, I'd recommend no more than 9000 cells.  On a weaker computer less, on a stronger computer more.

  • Report of Changes made to Cusotmer requested and Actul Committed date

    Hi,
    Please guide me for the preparation of a report of Changes made to Customer requested date and Actual delivery Date. Which field should I take for the Actual delovery date and the field for Customer requested date.
    Finally the Tables for these Fields.
    Thanks,
    Jans

    Dear Lakshmipathi,
    Thank you for your reply in details. I appreciate your kind help. But the requirement of the user is different. She is telling that she wants a report of changes made (Including name of the person, Date time and what field) for all the Sales Documents starting from One period to another period and for a Particular Sales area.
    I tried to use your Transaction code  AUT10. I was not authorized in the production but I did in the Development but it does not have any choice of Sales Are. I am working in a Global Template. So, if I give any Transaction code it will take all the Sales Areas of all the countries. I want only one sales Area of only one Company code.
    Then, there is a SAP Menu but I never used it. Please guide me how I can get the reports as per the user's requirement as it becomes a serious problem.
    I can elaborate the situation: If we go to Environment and click the "change " it will show the detailed of the changes made by person and topics. This report is needed for all the documents for a particular Sales Area.
    Please help me.

  • Undoing the changes made to DSO

    Hi
    One of our developers had modified one DSO and its transformation etc long time back and since the change was put on hold did not transport it to Quality or Prod. Now we have to make other changes and transport these. Is there any way to identify the changes made before, other than manually comparing with Prod and removing one by one.
    Is there any table which has change version or some other info.
    Please let us know.
    Thanks In Advance
    Aparna

    Hi Aparna,
    Not sure about transformations, but you can get for the DSOs by a roundabout technique. In your DEV box, go into SE11 and open up the active data table of the DSO.
    Then, follow the menu path Utilities --> Versions --> Version Management. A new screen will open up, and at the top there will be a button called Remote Comparison. Click it, and then enter your production system's ID in the Target Sys field.
    It will then show you a list of differences between the production and the development DSOs. This should avoid the manual comparison bit for all the InfoObjects, though you'll still have to check manually for stuff like Nav Attribs, DSO properties etc.

    Suhas

  • Unable to get changes done in Development to Production

    Hi Gurus,
    I have successfully transported Bex Query from BID to BIP system. Now I made some changes in the Bex Query in BID and transported to BIP But I am unable to get changes done in Development to Production.
    Regards
    Amit Srivastava

    Hi Amit,
    Its because package infomation of new objects that are used in bex query are local object($tmp). For this reason, althouh you are getting a request via rsa1 and doing some changes in bex query, only the objects which are has different package from $ tmp, written into request.
    For the solution, you need to go rsa1 and transport connection, select your bex query then select 'only necessary  objects', then transport this request.

  • Monitoring filesystem changes, made by programm/command/script

    Hello, guys. Archlinux is my first serious linux experience as desktop OS. I'm in a process of learning...
    Often I want to view changes which some programm/command/script makes in file system: which files or directories were created/deleted/modified(only the status of being modified, not the difference).
    Something like this:
    or better
    but maybe with a bit more powerful customisation:
    Filter by certain process. I dont what to see every single change in file system. I want to see only changes invoked by certain process or it's children:
    - Specify pid of running programm and watch changes, made by this programm.
    - Specify pid of terminal and watch changes, made only by commands in this terminal.
    I've tried inotify-tools. It is ok, but:
    - it doesn't seem to have this process filter (major issue for me, reasons described above).
    - it is doesn't have any gui wrapper (minor)
    Is there anything like that? Do I want too much?

    Thx for pointing. I've played with it a bit. But it seems to be too lowlevel, it gives raw information. I couldn't make it give only necessary information (~ CREATE, MODIFY, DELETE file). Like inotifywait, for example:
    [simargol@mdxb ~]$ touch bzz.txt
    [simargol@mdxb ~]$ rm bzz.txt
    [simargol@mdxb ~]$ inotifywait -m ~
    Setting up watches.
    Watches established.
    /home/simargol/ CREATE bzz.txt
    /home/simargol/ OPEN bzz.txt
    /home/simargol/ ATTRIB bzz.txt
    /home/simargol/ CLOSE_WRITE,CLOSE bzz.txt
    /home/simargol/ DELETE bzz.txt
    Simple and clean.
    Overall, maybe it not as easy task as I thought.

    Yes, but I thought that there could be a working solution. =/

  • Transport changes made to company code address (ox02)

    Hello All,
    We are making the changes to the company code address in OX02 in development online client and transporting the request generated while saving to the quality client in the same system.
    However, after importing the request successfully, we don't see any changes made in target client.
    Kindly suggest what could be the mistake here.
    Regards,
    Satish

    Hello Swapna,
    Thanks for the reply.
    Once we come to the main screen and click on Save button, it automatically asks for a transport request. I don't understand why we need to include in request mannually. Becuase, this is may not be acceptable to my customer until we show some wirtten procedure on this from SAP. Can you give me where I can find this so that I can proceed further?
    Thanks in advance.

    Simon:
    As Tubby pointed out, your dbms_output commands do not display the value you selected in the trigger. Your trigger based demonstration needs to be more like:
    SQL> SELECT * FROM t;
            ID DT
             1 05-SEP-2009
             2 17-JUL-2009
    SQL> CREATE TRIGGER t_ai
      2     AFTER INSERT OR UPDATE ON t
      3     FOR EACH ROW
      4  DECLARE
      5     PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;
      6     l_dt t.dt%TYPE;
      7  BEGIN
      8     SELECT dt INTO l_dt
      9     FROM t
    10     WHERE id = :new.id;
    11     DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line ('ID: '||:new.id);
    12     DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line ('Old dt: '||:old.dt);
    13     DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line ('New dt: '||:new.dt);
    14     DBMS_OUTPUT.Put_Line ('Aut dt: '||l_dt);
    15  END;
    16  /
    Trigger created.
    SQL> UPDATE t SET dt = sysdate WHERE id = 2;
    ID: 2
    Old dt: 17-JUL-2009
    New dt: 25-OCT-2009
    Aut dt: 17-JUL-2009
    1 row updated.So, the automomous transaction select did not see the changed value of dt.
    I know you are just trying to understand automomous transactions here and would never do sometihg like this in production right? :-)
    Your trigger, as written, has some interesting side effects because of the automomous transaction. For example:
    SQL> INSERT INTO t VALUES(3, sysdate - 25);
    INSERT INTO t VALUES(3, sysdate - 25)
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01403: no data found
    ORA-06512: at "OPS$ORACLE.T_AI", line 5
    ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'OPS$ORACLE.T_AI'
    SQL> UPDATE t SET id = 3 where trunc(dt) = TO_DATE('05-Sep-2009', 'dd-mon-yyyy');
    UPDATE t SET id = 3 where trunc(dt) = TO_DATE('05-Sep-2009', 'dd-mon-yyyy')
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01403: no data found

  • How to check changes made in standerd layout set

    Hi abaper's
    How to check the changes made in the standard layout set , other than using Utilities--- -> Print preveiw ?

    Hi,
    In ABAP there is no chance to check the version managment of the script , the better option to get this is to develop a small tool  as follows:-
    Every time u release the request of a script or layout just import that layout with (layoutname_request) no in application server. and using this RSTXFCOM program u can check transported one with existing.
    Note: Everytime while checking transported one make it a local layout in RSTXFCOM we can check two layout differences.
    Thanks

  • Sending out changes made to inbound deliveries

    Hello,
    We are sending out inbound deliveries as IDocs using Message type DESADV and IDoc type DELVRY03. We are not able to send the changes made to the delivery. Though change pointers are created  we do not see any standard process to process the change pointers. Is there any way of sending the changes to the delivery instead of the whole delivery?

    Hi,
    You mentioned you tested with your own account, did you try to enable the Automatic reply for yourself or enable it for someone else?
    If you tried to enable the Automatic reply for User B and it succeeded, I suspect there's something wrong with the permission granted for User A. Please remove Full Access and then re-add it, then check the result.
    Since this issue is more about the mailbox permission in my opinion, you can also post the question in Office 365 Community:
