  • SICF customer service in order to retrieve PDF document from archive (ICC)

    All,
    I am currently trying to set up a scenario to integrate SAP-VIM (vendor invoice management) with the ICC (invoice capture center; from opentext). In this process the ICC application loads data from SAP together with a scanned invoice (in PDF format) stored in our archive.
    Since we are not using any sap-certified archive solution I had to build the data retrieval via custom programming. But when the ICC component is trying to upload the data I am getting following error: "Error while trying to get invoice image(s) and recognition results from SAP: Unable to load datapool. Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1." Did someone have experience with this kind of set-up of with the error?
    Steps done:
    - create a Z-service in SICF with own class (based on copy of CL_HTTP_EXT_CSIF)
    - inside this class programmed to data retrieval of the PDF document of the archive (in Base64 format or Binary format)
    - filling the header fields of the response via
    l_mimetype = 'application/pdf'.
      call method l_entity->set_header_field:
        exporting name = 'Content-Type'      value = l_mimetype,
        exporting name = 'Content-Length'  value = l_size_s,
        exporting name = 'pVersion'        value = l_pversion,
      call method l_entity->set_data
        EXPORTING
          data   = l_data
          offset = '0'
          length = l_length.
    l_data = binary data of PDF-file

    Hello everyone,
    I'm using BI Publisher 11g to generate PDF documents. I had implemented a servlet that uses HTTP POST/GET to simulate the behaviour of BIP console since ScheduleReport Service is not implemented in this version. The problem is about the output of the final documents when i'm not using the bursting option. From my experience, the documents are not saved in any temporary folder in the filesystem. Looking at DEV_BIPLATFORM schema and analysing XMLP_* tables, i'm assuming that the generated document data is the BLOB DATA field in the XMLP_SCHED_DATA table...this is right?
    Next, in java, i'm using the BLOB field to output his binary content to a PDF file but, when i try to open the file, it gives an error: "document may be damaged"...
    Any suggestions here would be appreciated...
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards,
    NP1. Yes, it contains the output document.
    2. If the output type is PDF then the BLOB contains a zip file which contains the PDF document.
    So first unzip it before rendering

  • Retrieve ALV documents from archive link

    Dear experts,
    When retrieve SAP ALV reports printed to archive link using document type D01, class ALF (Internal Format for Stored Print Lists), MIME type is application/x-alf, the layout in the document viewer is changed. The layout does not correspond to ALV layout but looks like a HTM format.

  • How to Recover Document from Alias?

    Just searched a couple of important documents (extension .cwk) that were created a little over two years ago and all I can find are the aliases -- same is true when I search my backup external drives.
    Any ideas on how I can recover these documents?
    Thanks so much for your help!

    Thanks but when I press "control" and click, the only options I get are the ones below; is there something else I should be doing to get the Show Original option?
    Open
    Open With
    Open Enclosing Folder
    Move to Trash
    Get Info
    Quick Look "Document Title is here.cwk"
    Copy "Document Title is here.cwk"

  • Recovering documents from computer onto new hard drive

    My computer recently froze in the middle of watching a TV, which resulted in the gray screen of death and resulting in my hard drive crashing and getting a replacement. After getting home and starting from scratch again, I happened to search a few words in Spotlight and up popped results in documents that had been saved on my past hard drive. I don't have my Microsoft CDs with me to reinstall Word, so the documents only open up in TextEdit, but I'm trying to figure out how to get to those documents? And where are they saved???

    In Spotlight, enter your search term. Click "Show All" at the top of the list. You'll get a new Finder window with the search results. Click on each desired file in turn, and at the bottom of the window, you'll see its location in a file path. You can double-click on any folder in that file path to open a window to that location.

    I accidentally deleted documents from Pages on my iphone - and now they won't show up on my mac anymore either.  I must have saved them just on icloud and not on my mac, too.  is there anyway to recover these documents?

    On a mac, when you save docs to icloud, a local copy is also saved.  It's saved at:
    ~/Library/Mobile Documents
    Note that Library in the user's home folder is now hidden, so you'll have to set Finder to view hidden files.
    The Mobile Documents folder has subfolder where copies of the doc/data files are stored.
    If the file(s) are no longer there, then use your Time Machine backups to get copies back to the mac.

  • Recover deleted document from Oracle content server

    Hi All,
    I've deleted some of documents from oracle content server mistakenly. I am using oracle ucm11g.
    I found that we have a feature called "Trash bin". Trash-bin used for recover the deleted document/folder but unluckily settings for "Trash Bin" is disabled in my UCM folder configuration.
    Is there any other way to recover?
    Please kindly help me on this. It's an urgent production issue, please.
    Thanks for your great support in advance.

    Is there any other way to recover?
    Try to take a look at Repository Manager admin application: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e10978/c03_repository.htm#DAFCGDIE
    If you still can see your items there, you could recover the status.
    If not, I'm afraid your documents are gone from UCM. In that case, you might recover them from a back-up. There is also a chance that documents are still present in the Vault directory, so rather than 'recover', you might 're-submit' them.

  • Migration of SAP DMS documents from RFC Archive to SAP HTTP Content Server

    Can anyone verify the correct OSS for the migration of documents from an RFC Archive repository (non SAP) in SAP DMS to a SAP Content Server HTTP Repository. Most of the OSS notes seem to indicate HTTP to HTTP migrations or based storage category migrations.
    Which is the most suitable for this?
    Edited by: Athol Hill on Oct 30, 2009 2:35 PM

    Dear Athol,
    If you want to move the originals from an archive or vault to a Content
    Server, please use the DMS_KPRO_CONVERT and DMS_KPRO_CONVERT2 report I
    would kindly ask you to see teh documentation on DMS_KPRO_CONVERT report
    in transaction SE38, which explains the whole process and gives
    necessary information.
    This conversion program offers two possibilites:
    - Complete migration:
    The meta data of the document info record and the checked-in original
    application files are migrated together. The checked-in original
    application files are transported into the storage catgories.
    - Step-by-step migration:
    In the first step meta data is migrated. The original application files
    remain in the old storage data. The migration of original application
    files starts after you have processed the files with the integrated
    viewer and checked them into a secure storage area.

  • Hi, I would like to know how can I recover a document from pages that I didn't save anytime and instead of clicking the button save I clicked the delete button at the end. Is there any way to recover it?

    Hi, I would like to know how can I recover a document from pages that I didn't save anytime and instead of saving the doc I clicked the delete button. Is there any way to recover it?

    Regardless of application, the first step that I take is to save and name the current document — even if it has no content yet. With Pages, this good habit enables autosave. As you add content, your document revision history is restorable via the File Revert To menu. The delete key has the same document foreboding as only teaching a pet raven to speak "Nevermore."
