Recovering from Stupidity - Help with Streaing Issues

A few months ago, I purchased a 1TB external drive and meant to backup my 200GB+ iTunes library which is also on an external drive. Unfortunately, before I got around to doing that I had a brain dead moment one evening and erased my external drive by accident (long story - details aren't important). Fortunately, I was able to recover about 50-60% of the movies either directly off the erased drive or because I had copies elsewhere that I hadn't deleted yet. In most cases, I "reloaded" them into iTunes by double clicking the movie in iTunes and choosing the "Locate" option when it warned me that it could not find the original. In some cases, I deleted the "missing" movie from iTunes and re-added a fresh copy.
Now for the help I need: All of the movies play fine in iTunes. But, when I try to view them on my Apple TV (set to stream wirelessly from my Library), I just get a black screen. I'm used to a delay while it buffers at the beginning but most movies were usually only up to about 10 seconds before they start to play. Now almost all of the movies just sit there and do nothing. I think if I leave it long enough Apple TV does display a message on the screen but I don't recall what it says.
Has anyone experienced this and knows what the problem could be? Do I need to rebuild my iTunes library somehow? Note that I've been using MetaX on these files too so that could be part of the equation?

Let me play with the configuration tonight and report back.
While I personally prefer a primary library and would suggest you consider it for what you have described you want to do, I do not think it is the reason your videos will not play.
If you do decide to change to a primary library, delete the link on the tv and the listing in itunes preferences before embarking on the whole passcode thing.

Yes
Changing the type of library you use will involve re-linking the library, this in some cases might be enough to correct your problem.
If you do decide to change your library, I'd do so before revisiting the issue with playing movies, however don't change your library type at this stage just to try to resolve your primary issue.

I don't know if this will help but have you tried switching the audio output to 16-bit? On the AppleTV, click Settings, Audio & Video, Audio Output. The two choices are "auto" and "16-bit". Good luck!

If you are going tob e upgrading to 10.7 you should be able to just upgrade, and then install future updates of Firefox with no problem.

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

well the reason I wanted to talk to someone live because it would take forever to explain everything on here But anyway, here goes. I have an HP Pavilion Notebook with Intel Core i5-323om CPU @2.60 GHz and 8 gb ram 64bit. I am trying to run Lightroom 5.7 on my laptop and having major issues. I use an external hard drive for the storage of my photos. When I try to use Lightroom I run into many issues: Flickering of the screen, freezing up, slow, the loading circle just goes round and round lol. If I go to the washroom or leave the computer for even a minute it freezes up. I have to keep pressing Ctr/alt/delete to bring it back when it flickers. I have to constantly exit out of the program and restart it to be able to edit even just a couple of photos and then it starts acting up again.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing, updating everything on my pc, changing compatibility settings, updating development settings, I even took the laptop into have it looked at and they did all kinds of updates etc...and still couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for me. I have gone through the lists of troubleshooting for LR problems and there just seem to be nothing that works.....I have made new catalogues, moved them, tried using the software on my pc without the EHD, etc etc.......I have tried EVERYTHING...I think.....so I was looking for some answers as to why this is happening....

Need help with Workflow Issue: One notification sending out non-stop email.

We've created a custom PO Approval Workflow based on standard PO Approval Workflow and we've had this for a while now. Last week, we encountered an issue where the notification keeps on sending email to the Suppliers and Buyers. We found out that the particular notification_id in the WF_NOTIFICATIONS table keeps getting updated by the minute setting the MAIL_STATUS to INVALID then back to SENT then back to INVALID again and so on. We think that whatever is updating this table is the cause but up until now we haven't found what's updating it. Below are some information of our instance.
Oracle Applications: 11.5.10.2
Database: 10.2.0.4 64 bit
OS: AIX
Custom Workflow based on revision 115.127.11510.16
Customizations:
- Created custom notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP based on EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom message XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF based on EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Added #WFM_CC to XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Created custom attribute XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER and set as Performer to notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom function XX_ADDTL_STARTUP_VAL right after function "Set Workflow Startup Values". This function sets #WFM_CC attribute and XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER attribute.
Not sure if the customizations have anything to do with the issue since not all POs have this issue. Have anyone experience this? Would really appreciate any help with this.

Help with backup issues on ITunes IPhone

I recently updated to iOS7 however before this i did the following:
1. i used a new ITunes on my laptop so i plugged my phone in a made 4 backup copies before restoring my IPhone
2. I restored my IPhone fine and updated to iOS7 in the process once restored
3. I went through the steps on setting up iOS7 and got the the 'Restore from backup section' - I selected restore from backup and it started retoring from my last backup with all my apps/Contacts etc, It said it would take 16 minutes to fully sync it all back
4. However during this process my laptop decided to restart therefor stopping the backup sync
5. I reopen my Itunes and my IPhone is available on my ITunes, i select 'Restore from backup' but it only shows a backup from 23:45 which is the time staright after my laptop restarted
6. It doesnt show any backups previousl to this in my ITunes backups folders for some reason - I have lost everything from my Phone and i cant seem to see the previous backups - They MUST be somewhere as i backed up 4 times prior to this but only 3 backups are being displayed all labelled as 23:45, 23:45 and 23:46..
7. Im not sure what happened to all my data and information and where its gone to

Help with Performance issue with a view

We developed a custom view to get the data from gl_je_lines table with source as Payables. We are bringing the data for the last year and current year till date ie., from 01-JAN-2012 to SYSDATE. This view is in a package body, which is called from a concurrent program to write the data to a outbound file.
The problem I am facing is that this view is fetching around 72 lakhs of records for the above date range and the program is running for a long time and completes abruptly with out any result. Can anyone please let me know if there is an alternative to this. I checked the view query and there seems to be not much scope to improve the performance.
Will inserting al this data into a Global Temporary Table will help? Please revert at the earliest as this solution is very urgent for our clients.

Help with speed issue : who to contact

I have BT Infinity 2 via HH5 and speeds are as follows;
Wireless: DL 38M and UL 8M
Ethernet: DL 38M and UL 8M
and the above is a constant result, ethernet is not any faster
I completed the BTWholesale speed test and get the same result. However, if I run the further diagnostics the information that comes back highlights the download in red and says I should contact my BB supplier.
I note also that the range for DL is very tight with a max below 40M, however I am on BT Infinity 2 as upload shows max of 20M. The HH5 indicates that the DL synch rate is normally nearer 45M, so i am wondering if some equipment needs resetting at the exchange.
So can anybody add clues, solutions or provide the best contact number to get this matter resolved.

I have installed SQl Server integration services on SQL and service is also running in services.msc,
the problem comes when i execute my package using my C# application i am using MSDN Method to execute a SSIS package programmatically given here.

For loading my FactTable i have used a Derived columns and some lookups ,
Now if i don't use derived columns and looks ups and just use source and destination component then my package runs fine from my C# application but if i use derived columns or looks ups etc it gives the following error

The package is developed in SSDT installed by SQL Server 2012, so it is a SSIS 2012 package. However, the Integration Services you have installed is SQL Server 2008 R2 version. To run the package outside SSDT, you need SSIS 2012 installed. The reason why
the package runs fine with only Source and Destination components is that such a simple package can be executed by the DTExec utility installed by SQL Server 2012 Data base Engine or Client Tools (SQL Server Import and Export Wizard). To run a package that
uses other tasks/components outside SSDT/BIDS, the SSIS runtime is also required except the DTExec utility. To obtain the SSIS 2012 runtime, we have to install SSIS 2012 on the server where the package runs.

NO HELP WITH ROUTING ISSUES FROM VERIZON

Spend 2 hours with technical support to no avail. Have routing issues where I can’t get from my FIOS residential account to remote web site abroad. Trace route fails at so-0-0-0.XT1.AMS2.ALTER.NET [146.188.14.209]. FIOS technical support is incapable of doing any troubleshooting beyond basic customer premises equipment, refusing to escalate the case to network engineering team. I was basically told by FIOS tech support supervisor {edited for privacy} that this is not Verizon’s problem and no help will be provided. What is even more frustrating that Verizon agents are not capable of receiving emails from customers with details such as trace route.
Is there anyone at Verizon monitoring this and able to help? Just in case, ticket number that I have with Verizon is {edited for privacy}

BT help aren't always that helpful, but BT engineers claim that it is a BT sales issue and nothing to do with them seems a bit extreme.
Are you sure your daily speed is 8Mbits, not 8Mbytes? How are you measuring this? Is it the number coming from the BT speedtest?
If it really is 8Mb, then I think it's worth checking with the mods;  at: http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951 . But be aware they take 3 working days to reply: sometimes more if busy.
