Hi,
1)Refresh the cache
2) Check whether the J2EE engine  is up
3) Clear the  Java cache ( In your system ). Usually the path will be - C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\IBM\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache\http

  • Local folder content disappeared. How to recover the lost content?

local folder in Thunderbird was used to move messages from inbox.
Although local folder still in place, the contents disappeared.

  • How do I recover the cached contents of a form from a closed tab?

I accidentally closed a tab with a good deal of work written in a form on the page. It should be cached somewhere because if my computer had crashed or I'd force quit, I'd be able to recover it. Is there a way for me to find and recover that cache now?

It is possible that this data is stored as part of session data in the sessionstore.js file.
Did you try to restore that tab?

  • Backup / recover / move a content index

are there standard practices for backing up and restoring a content index. Indexing time is currently taking days to weeks and cannot afford to rebuild the index in production.
Also is anyone indexing on one server and move the index to another to seperate indexing and query load?
    Thank you.

I'll hit your last question first - I use a STORAGE preference to modify their default parameters. If this is done there shouldn't be any need to move the index.
Regarding the move/rebuild question - I'll work on it and post a reply asap.

  • Recovering sync'd contents from an un-updatable computer.

My 3GS had always been sync'd to an older PowerBook G4, which can not be updated to iTunes 10, I just got an iPhone 4, which isn't compatable with iTunes 9, how do I get my contacts, photos, and such?

If you were using your phone as intended, you would have been synching your 3GS contacts with Address Book on your PowerBook G4.  Transfer your contacts from that computer to a computer that's compatible with synching withthe iPhone 4.
Do the same for your photos:  copy the iTunes library from the PowerBook to a new computer.
You can also move your iTunes folder from the PowerBook to a new computer so you can synch all your iTunes media as well.

  • Missing catalog: help me recover Organizer albums/content

When a drive was replaced April 2014 on a Win7 computer, the old Adobe Elements Organizer 12.0.0.0 catalog went missing.
The default new one has been in use since for new projects. It has been Optimized and Repaired, no change.
I'm trying to find the old catalog for use.  Searched for *.TLY *.TLU *.BUC and catalog.*
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\CONVERTED ELEMENTS 9\catalog_1.pse12db is 312MB.
Double-click or right-click/Open of this file does nothing.
    Help!
There is a .buc file from January 2014 on an external drive, but no .TLY or .TLU with it and "catalog restore" does not cope when browsed to it.
There is a .tly from March 2013 that is currently in the process of "restoring" to a new location, but that's missing more than a year of projects.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Andaleeb,
Thanks for your reply.  I had asked earlier if it’s possible to retrieve it from a backup of Elements 7 program files.  I did not specifically do a backup of the catalog because at that time I didn’t know I had to in order to import it into the new Elements 11.  I had planned to just install 11 & move over the catalog then remove E7 from my computer.  Unfortunately things didn’t happen that way due to my computer having troubles. As was noted in an earlier thread.

  • Is there a way to sync ipad / iphone (previously under different apple id) without losing content?

My dad passed his old ipad2 & iphone4 to my kids recently.  I'm afraid to sync them to my computer (my itunes & id) because I don't want to loose some of the content.  He has pictures and the apps are some they have played on since he bought it!  Any tips or advice?  He purchased some art apps for them before giving it to them, so I'd rather not loose the new content either.  But I need to separate his apple id from the devices so I can sync it to my laptop (windows), right?  I'd also like to give them a apple id to associate with mine for facetime & messaging.  Unfortunately, I am not practiced or skilled at the multitasking of technology.  I'll wipe them both if necessary, just hoping I don't have to.  If I sync them to my itunes... can I at least get the pictures?  Well... any help will be appreciated :-

If your Dad is prepared to share his Apple ID with you then you can recover the existing content from the device using tips here: Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

  • Move email from Inbox to Local Folder using Message Filter moves header only, not contents.

I created a Message Filter to move email from Inbox to a Local Folder based on Date. The email headers were moved, but not the contents. Since I'm using IMAP, all the emails were deleted from the server.
I searched for similar problems and I followed one suggestion to "repair" one of the target Local Folders, but that made things worse. Now the header information (Subject, From, Date (now set to the date the transfer was done, not the email received date) is all blank.
The Local Folder properties indicate the email is contained in
    mailbox:///C:/Users/Ted/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/c65xcqqf.default/Mail/Local Folders/Archives.sbd/2010
I can see the messages from other Local Folders here, but the ones "moved" are empty.
    Should this location be changed?
Is there some way to recover the email contents?

  • Recovered Time Machine backup not recognized..

This is a strange situation/horrible situation to explain. We had one of our iMacs lock up unexpectedly, and on restart it just hung all the time. We booted from the Snow Leopard install disc, ran Disk Utilities verifying/repair option which noted the drive had serious errors. We do use Time Machine on an external drive, but unfortunately the last backup performed was ".inprogress" as it was tagged. To add more problems, the entire TM backup folder (..all of it) was trashed/deleted and we had to recover the entire contents via recovery software (which took forever sadly).
With the contents recovered completely (luckily) we decided to move forward. We formatted the hard drive/installed OSX again on the iMac and went to restore using the Restore from backup function on the installation disc. However, when we pointed Snow Leopard to the external drive it did not recognize the TM backup. We tried the Migration assistant as well, and no luck, simply won't see the TM backup (even though the backup folder and all its elements seem to be all there).
We can see our files buried in some folders in the backup, as well as images, but replacing those manually I'm sure will run into permissions issues. We're open to suggestions at this point as this iMac served as a media server for us.

That recovered some files, but they're no longer in a form that's recognized as Time Machine backups, so you won't be able to restore/recover them normally. See the blue box in [Data Recovery|http://web.me.com/pondini/AppleTips/Recover.html].

Are the recovered files on a separate HD? If so, right-click it on your Desktop or Finder sidebar, and select +Get Info.+ See if the +Ignore ownership on this volume+ box at the very bottom is checked. If it is, you should be able to copy the recovered files. If not, click the padlock, enter your Admin password, then check the box.
Figuring out what and where they all belong (and which version is the most recent) will not be easy.
Once you get this sorted out as well as you can, consider keeping "secondary" backups. What happened to you is quite unusual, but obviously possible. See #27 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum) for some suggestions.

Adobe Reader could not open 'f1065sk1.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Upon opening of I-photo every time comes to note that two photos were not yet imported. I go to Import, but the photos only appear in the Finder as a recovered photo without content. I then put the two "photos" in the trash, but the process is not completed, the reference to not yet imported images always comes back when opening I-Photo. Any tips from you so far have not solved the problem: See "Package Contents", does not appear for me or I do not fimde. That says a window shows "0 bytes", type: folder, but no evidence of import or
    Courtesy of Google Translation.
What has solved this for everyone else:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. Make no other changes. Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.
"Package Contents", does not appear for me or I do not fimde
    Then you are either
    1. Not right-clicking
    or
    2. Doing it in the wrong place.

  • I need to know if it's possible to retrieve deleted text contents

Is possible to recover deleted text content from my husband's iPhone 5?

Only if you have a backup on your computer or iCloud. The iPhone doesn't have a Trash Can or Recycle Bin. So if you delete something it's gone forever.
You posted in the iPad forum instead of the iPhone forum. To get answers to your question, next time post in the proper forum. See https://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa  I'll request that Apple relocate your post.

  • How to recover Accidentally setting up external harddisk as Time Machine (old data still neeeded)?

I accidentally select 'YES' when asked to setup Time Machine on an external hard drive, which I have data already on it original format (NTFS if I remember right).
I stopped the Time Machine before doing futher action like backup immediately.
    Eject the harddisk drive.
Reconnect to Windows machine to see if I can still use the old data.  It is not recogniseable.  Using disk utility of Windows OS, I get this term on the said harddisk drive as "GPT protective partition 1397.26 GB".
It looks like the time machine "partitioning/formatting" of the hard drive.
How do I remove the GPT protective partition and possibly recover the old contents on the disk using some recovery tool either on MacOSX or Windows OS ?

All are named in FIFO new serialised generic filename.  That will be painful to reconstruct the new names again for all myriad files.
Try different ways to search for data - disk seek and search the entire device may find backup NTFS table and it will be possible to recover all or most of the files from the disk. Also note that the search results can be found .dmg partition equal to the size of your external drive - in this disk image may be the original file structure.
If the original structure of files can not be found - usually recover all the files that were not fragmenting into several fragments.

  • After Linux installation my notebook can not boot up properly

OK so I installed Linux ubunto and I was double booting with my standard version of Win when me and my friend tried to just go back to Windows we restored it back to the original with the backup disk only problem is that now the program (GRUB) that loads when you choose your operating system is still on the computer.
It gives me an error 22 message every time... I was told I need to reset the master boot record or something like that but I do not know how so if someone plz could help me?
    That would be greatly appreciated!

Your MBR (Master Boot Record) contains GRUB loader. You must recover its original contents.
For win95/98/me you use "fdisk /mbr" with a startup disk.
With win2000/xp you boot into the recovery console using the installation CD and type fixmbr
