Recovering lost pictures iphone 4 please Help....
Hello everybody,
My Mac book Pro just leave me one week ago. 2012 model. It lost all hard disk info. ALL. No explanation. No info at all recovered.
Now i have a nice new empty hard disc. great! Ok so now I'm trying to get back as many info as possible.
I erased from my iphone 4 hundreds of pictures that I stocked on the mac using itunes. Now I'm trying to get them back.
I do not want to pay (and lost still more) . How can I just free recover pictures from the iphone please?

Did you not back up your MacBook Pro at all? You should have had a backup of the computer's hard drive to restore your new computer from. That machine backup would include your iPhone backup. Hard drives fail, all the time for any of many reasons and usually with no warning. That's why backups are essential, not optional.

FInd my iphone is not something that is installed. It is a built in feature that you would need to turn on from the iphone itself before it is lost. If you did this, then you may be able to go to icloud.com and get an approximate location.
Otherwise you cannot track it.
The find my iphone app that you can install is only used to find your other idevices from your iphone. It has nothing to do with finding the iphone on which it is installed. -

Only possible if you have made an iTune or iCloud backup before the update.

Having the imei won't help you find your phone.
If you setup and enabled find my phone prior to losing it then go to icloud.com
If you didn't set it up - then there nothing you can do.
Call your carrier and let them know, change all your passwords. -

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS. -

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store.
