RECOVERING NOTES AFTER iCal issues

For some time I realised I had problems wirh calendars not synchronising between my iMac and MacBook Pro.
I followed recommended process to disconnect from iCloud and erase all locol data expecting to recover later when reconnecting to iCloud. I should add that Notes had not been selected for iCloud back up on both Macs, however they seem to sync so did not worry.....When I reconnected to iCloud and removed other links to Google, Facebook.... all seemed OK.
I now realise that I have lost ALL my notes on both Macs. I have been trying to recover from Time Machine as I have separate back up for each Mac but I just cannot find the back up file in Time Machine!! several support pages refer to a "Containers" in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes/
I have searched both Time Machine and bpoth Macs....I just cannot find!!
Please advise where or how to find it.

Thanks for feedback, clearly this is one solution I was not aware of. Whilst waiting for response I also reread similar posts and FINALLY understood what had been written! I had not realised the Library folder had to be selected under Finder before accessing! It is not enough to have Library showing under "Show View Options"

PS I forgot I also had third iMac for my wife but with me as Admin, opening Notes without WI FI On gave e access back.
I now need to understand how to configure Notes and iCloud operation......the learning goes on......

To fix the vanishing music problem on my iPhone, the Apple store had me hard restore my iPhone and told me not to restore from backup. I can find how to replace my music, calendars, etc from iTunes, but I can't figure out how to restore my "notes". Since I've been storing a lot of stuff in notes, I need to get the notes back. There is no obvious place in iTunes. There are no notes in my my "notes" app in OS 10.9.

If they were in the "On my iPhone" account, they are gone now. You would have had to sync them to the Notes app on your Mac.
Did you ever do a backup? If so, there are some programs that claim they can extract data from backups, so trying one of those may be worth doing.

Recover notes after ios8 update

I have an iphone 4s. I updated to i0s 8.0.2 and it deleted all of my notes. I have no backup to go off of, nothing on the cloud, and a few (from December of last year until the present) saved in gmail. I tried the 3rd party recovery sites which found nothing. I need all of them, because they are conversations, thoughts, and statements by my father who died of pancreatic cancer in September of last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Contacts are not part of your backup (except for recent call history). Your contacts came back probably because you're syncing them to Gmail or some other email service.
Your Camera Roll photos are part of your backup, and your Photo Stream is in iCloud, so those would be expected to come back.
As for your notes, were you syncing notes to any of your email accounts? Did you have more than one email account using notes? Check them all, since if they did not come back from your backup that means they were syncing to something. The only notes that get into your backup are notes that are only on the device (i.e. not synced to any other source).

I found this tip from a 2011 discussion on the same topic.
Open iCal and backup or export your entries. Make a note of the fie name and location, you're going to need them in a minute. Once your backup/export is completed, close the iCal application.
Open Finder and remove everything inside the "Username/Library/Calendars" folder. For instance, if your username is "Joe", then move everything inside the "Joe/Library/Calendars" folder.
Open the iSync application. It's located in the "/Applications/" folder. Once iSync is opened, go into the iSync Preferences (iSync -> Preferences) and push/click the "Reset Sync History" button. Then, close the iSync application.
Re-Open the iCal application and Import (File -> Import) a new calendar. When prompted, use your notes from Step #1 to select the file your created earlier. Once completed, close the iCal application (you should have all of your calendar entries back.)
Open the iTunes application and connect your Apple iPhone to the computer.
Within the Advanced section of the Info tab for the Apple iPhone, check the box the overwrites/replaces the Calendar data on the Apple iPhone.
Click the Apple/Sync button. New, modified and deleted entries should now be syncing correctly.
That's it! You should be all set and iTunes, iCal and our Apple iPhone should all be playing nicely as friends again. We've used the exact method to repair our own Apple iPhone at least once... maybe even twice.

Restore of Ipod back up is present...but is not getting restored due to some iTunes issue with playing my music files.It says restoring and extracts but failes in 1 min with the said error.

Recovering data after factory reset (security issue)

Hello there,
Recently a friend of mine asked me how to erase all data on an iPhone ? I pointed to him to "factory reset".
Now, I see a bunch of websites that show how to recover data after factory reset using their software, not sure if they work as advertised or not.
What I would like to know is if the user wants the data to be erased and non-recoverable, is this the best option or if there is any other option available in iPhone that can make the data un-recoverable. We want to make sure the data is un-recoverable after factory reset.

unfortunately this doesn't answer my question.
I do know the option to "erase all content and settings" in iPhone.
What I want to know is to make sure once done, no one can recover that data back. Since this phone will be sold off to some stranger, we don't want them to have access to the data.
Here are a few websites from my just preliminary search results that show how to recover data.
just google "extracting data after factory reset iPhone" and you will see a bunch of websites offering their products to recover. So I want to check if this is so simple, how can we really make sure the data is wiped off clean.

For eg: I got critical alert when I have shutdown the DB.But I didn't get clear alert even I have started my DB and is up running.
I am getting only critical and warning alerts but not clear alerts from 11g Grid control.

IMac running 10.9 not rebooting after network issues

This is weird, and while I am going through Apple's Knowledgebase steps - so far without success - I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else experienced a similar issue.
I was having network issues (or what I think/thought were network issues) for about a week. The symptoms looked like high packet loss, i.e. websites would simply not load reliably: sometimes not load at all, sometimes load partially. This started with some smaller websites and eventually it failed to load google and facebook. It took me some time to notice that other devices on the same WiFi did not have this issue, so yesterday I decided to reboot my iMac. Network diagnostics didn't show any issue and I was able to connect to the WiFi router just fine, just not find any websites, so I thought a reboot may fix it.
I have not been able to boot it back up since. It stalls at the grey loading screen with Apple logo and a spinning wheel for ever (I've let it sit for hours). Safe boot does not work, and starting in Verbose mode hangs at "executing fsck_hfs" and it doesn't seem to do anything else. I've booted from the install disc (actually a USB drive) and ran Disk Utility from there, but it showed not disk errors at all. It did repair a handful of permissions (I only saw iBooks related stuff and something about etc/apache2/users), apparently successfully, but it's still not booting.
Disconnecting my external Time Machine drive and unplugging the iMac from my surge protector didn't help, either. I am now creating a new image from the partition just to have an additional backup on top of my Time Machine, and I'm going to try Archive and Install next, which is the next to last step in the Knowledgebase.
I do have two partitions on the Mac (one 10.9 and the other 10.7), by the way, and booting into the older partition seemed to work right away. It's just that I don't have any use for that other partition right now, it's a leftover from back when I migrated to Mavericks.
I am baffled how all of this connects together. Network issues, boot up failure without apparent disk issues? Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I am still working on restoring my iMac with 10.9.
I've cloned the affected partition. I used Disk Utility and it Restored without apparent unto an external drive. So I tried booting from that drive, but I get the same result as booting from the partition directly. Not a major surprise I guess since this is supposed to be an identical copy.
I have also created a dmg image out of the partition, and I was able to open that on my MBP without problems! All the files seem to be there. It seems to be something specific with the, uh, boot sector or, uh, something?
Next, I booted into Single User mode and ran fsck -fy. The Knowledgebase says it's okay to do it if Safe Mode doesn't work, right? The first time it ran, I got conflicting results. It said both

**THE VOLUME WAS MODIFIED**
The Knowledgebase seems to suggest that it should only say one or the other?
Running it again, it said

Alas, rebooting it still doesn't work, it continues hanging at the Apple logo.

We must be fools to pay so much money for mediocre service. Who's salaries are we paying including union involved? Well for me it's time to move on to a new provider just like millions of other smart people did. Will Verizon help resolve this?

Nope... I've had the same problems with NUUMMMEEERRRROOOOUUSSSS dropped calls, unable to load data with a decent signal, and with the most recent update which was to improve on the Bluetooth audio connectivity, which I didn't have problems with beforehand.... has now made mine where it will not stay connected for more than 3 mins. I just recently cracked my screen and I'm eligible to edge up... was waiting on the Note 4 Edge... now I have to pay 100 deductible to get a replacement just to hand over to get a new phone... which I'm now going to Sony Xperia. No longer waiting on these delayed releases.

Noooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

Can anyone help me in this issue, we need to map "delivery not before date" and "delivery not after date" from an EDI 850 into a sales order.
Are there any fields to which we can map the data? if not would anyone suggest how to go about it?

We have a similar requirement, albeit we call it a Delivery Window. We have implemented this by mapping two E1EDK03 qualifiers (we use 033 & 034) to two Z fields extended to VBAK, which we then include in our Sales Order Delivery Date logic.
Not very elegant, but then my understanding is that SAP has no concept of the Delivery Window.
