Recovering Notes on my iPad

I deleted an Email account from my iPad.  It also erased my Notes.  How can I recover my Notes on my iPad?

If you log into the email account that you have deleted via a web browser you will see all the notes in a folder called "NOTES".
If you want them back on to your iPad without the email, easiest way is to log back into that account on your iPad SETTINGS > MAIL CONTACTS AND CALENDARS > ADD ACCOUNT once verified switch off mail, contacts, calendars and reminders and you will just be left with NOTES.

Only if you have an older backup that you can restore from that contains those notes in it.

If you have an iCloud or iTunes backup which contains the bookmarks you could restore to that. If not, the bookmarks are gone.

Had you set your iPhone up to use Photo Stream?
Had your performed an iCloud backup of your iPhone before it was damaged?
If you did neither of the above, then your photos are not in the cloud, and they are gone.
If you performed an iCloud backup, then it would contain the photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll (taken on the iPhone) at the time of your last backup.  You could restore this iCloud backup to a device.
If your iPhone used Photo Stream, those photos are immediately accessible to your iPad if you set it up to use the same Photo Stream.

  • HT4865 How do I recover lost notes from my iPad?

    Hi,
When I type something on my notes and come back to it later, it somehow for some strange reason disappeared. How do I recover my notes from my iPad?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks!
    Channi

You can only recover notes from a backup.
Restore from a backup - if the notes that you want to recover are in your last backup. When you restore from a backup, you restore everything in that backup onto the iPad.

  • Can I recover deleted notes from my iPad?

I accidentally deleted very important notes from my iPad, from NOTES.  Is there any way to recover this file?

If you have a back up prior to the point at which you deleted the notes, you may be able to recover them, but the process is a little convoluted if they are notes you keep in your iCloud account.

Is there any way to recover a 'Note' on my iPad without access to a PC or Mac?

If the deleted note was on your iPad when you last backed it up to iCloud, with some effort you could restore it from your backup by following Winston Churchill's post here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22600445#22600445.

  • Do anyone know about recovering notes that I accidentally deleted from my iPad during sync process? Thanks

Do anyone know about recovering notes that I accidentally deleted from my iPad during sync process? Thanks.

If you are using iCloud you can check to see if they are still available remotely by logging onto iCloud.com on a desktop/laptop computer, or 3rd party app like Private Browser or Photon.
If your not using iCloud, or they were also removed from there, you can restore from your last backup (iTunes or iCloud). Unfortunately, this will only recover notes created prior to backing up your iPad. Hope this helps!

  • Notes deleted from iPad after turning on Notes in Gmail: How to Recover?

I upgraded from iOS 6x to iOS 7.04 and my notes were intact. Then I turned on Gmail to new account and turned on the Notes feature (seemed like a good idea at the time). When I return to Notes on the iPad, there are none. When I check my new Gmail account there are none. When I check my old Gmail account there are no notes. I upgrade to the new Gmail app designed for iOS 7, that didn't help. I do not have a backup in iTunes or iCloud.
Any ideas of how to solve get my notes back? I have a lot and they are important.

Just turn notes syncing back on again.

  • How do I recover notes from my iphone or ipad

how do i recover notes that were inadvertantly deleted

    You don't.
You sync songs from your itunes library to each device.
All of your music should be in your itunes library on your computer.  From there you can sync them to whatever idevice(s) you like.

  • Can I recover notes that were deleted upon the removal of an email account?

I recently deleted the e-mail account of a prior employer to which was associated most of my notes in the Note app.  I had no idea that notes were even associated with each email account, but now about 50% of what I was using is simply gone.  Ironically, that email account was no longer connected to the company server as I am working elsewhere, so no backup will exist there.  I do not have an itune backup recent enough to be of any value.  The icloud and gmail accounts each have some of their own notes, but none of them have the missing notes.
So, is there any signature left of the files in the physical memeory of my ipad?  If so, is there an app which will let me look for them.  To be honest, this is kind of disappointing for apple in that quite a few folks have no idea of the association, though I should have had some more recent itune backups.  Particularly since an inactive connection to the email server automatically implies there is no backup anywhere.  I wish I would have known that tidbit.

  • Explicit tags do not work on IPad with Restrictions on

I have noticed (though I cannot say if it is the same for songs purchased through the Itunes store as I do not own any explicit ones) that songs I have manually marked as explicit with the program MP3TAG that on my Ipad and in itunes if I enable restricts they are still accessable and playable. I would like if possible a solution to fix this as this is a major problem for me
I convert all my mp3's to m4a's/mp4's before adding all my tags
my m4a's also have some custom tags such as label, arranger, and lyrcist. though I doubt that they have affected anything as itunes does not read them.
here is where I got the information on adding Itunes explicit tags to mp3's and m4a's

the song I used for testing is ThatXX - By G-Dragon

I could have dumped the music in my trusty old 4GB iPod mini that still mounts like a hard drive and stored my photos there.
And you could have had the same problem if your iPod failed.
bring enough camera memory cards. They're cheap enough.
And they're easily damaged or corrupted - that's why there are so many products and services advertised to recover photos from memory cards.
I'm not defending the iPad, per se, but this is not an issue related solely to iPads. Any device can fail, or get damaged, or lost or stolen. The simplest solution: never trust critical content to any single device or medium, regardless of what that is. If you rely on any single point of failure, you're just asking for trouble.
    Regards.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

  • How to recover lost files from ipad on mac

I have stored many videos, contacts, notes, music files and more on my ipad. Unfortunately, I lost my some files on it owing to my wrong operation. Now I am
looking for the ways how to get them back quickly, but it is failed. If you are familiar with this problem, please continue reading to give me some clues about how to recover these lost files from iPad on Mac computer? 100 coins will be added!

Firstly, you can rely on iCloud or iTunes to recovery iPad data, such as recover deleted text messages, photos, notes, restore iPhone contacts, after all, it is free.
    1. Connect your iPad with iTune on computer
    2. Right-click or control-click on the iPad icon under iDevice on iTunes
    3. Select "Restore from Backup" from the given options
    4. After it finishs, your contacts are back to your iPhone
Important Note: This works only if you have made a backup for your data on iTunes.
In case that the iCloud or iTunes cannot help to make a iPad Data Recovery, you can turn to a third party tool.

  • Deleting and recovering e-mail on iPad and Windows PC

    We have @cox.net e-mail accounts and @jameke.com e-mail accounts.
We have an iPad 4 using Mail and a Windows PC using Outlook.
When a message is sent from another computer, it correctly appears in the Inbox in both the iPad and the Windows PC.
When a message is deleted from either the iPad or the Windows PC, it is not automatically deleted from the other.
When a message is deleted from either the iPad or the Windows PC:
It should automatically be deleted from the other device, and
It should be recoverable from Deleted Items or Trash on either device.
When a message is recovered from either the iPad or the Windows PC, it should automatically be recovered on the other device.
What must we do on the iPad to get e-mail messages to delete and be recovered as described above?

If these are IMAP-only accounts, they should work as you desire.
If these are POP3-only accounts, they cannot work as you desire.
If these accounts are capable of IMAP but you are using POP3 to access them, switch them to IMAP.
