Recovering texts from March 2013
I am looking to recover texts from my old iphone from Feb-March of 2013. I have been searching the boards a couple of days and have found helpful tips on how to do it, however what I'm looking for is not coming up so I guess I am curious if they are even on my phone.
I have restored and done backups on my school computer and the furthest back it will pull info from leaves messages from Dec 2013 on my phone.
My computer back at home says I have one back up in itunes from 1/2014, however I know I deleted many pics/messages/other data from then to make room for music. I hardly ever connected my phone to my computer at home since I had an ipod I used for music when running. I did use the cloud for music but again, was never connected to my computer, just used the apple account. I also no longer have an iphone (got a diff phone in January) I just have all my music on my old one.
I have logged into the "My cloud" website and when the menu options (contacts, calendar) come up, there is not a square for text messages. There is one for mail however.
I guess my question is, if I have deleted the texts I am looking for before I ever backed it up to the computer, would I be able to recover them with an itunes back up?
I will be home tonight so if anybody knows who I could go about doing this I would appreciate it!
Sorry if this is confusing, computer knowledge is not my greatest strength.
Thank you. As I said, I am not quite sure what I am doing so any help is great. Do you know if any third-party apps will recover these at all? Sorry it seems like a dumb question, just asking what my friends are suggesting I try. Thanks again.

Database upgrade from March 2013 to October 2013 Issue
Hiya,
Am I missing something completely obvious trying to upgrade a March 2013 PU content database to a October 2013 CU and it's failing, using Mount-SPContentDatabase.
The farm account and my install user has the DB_Owner and SPDataAccess roles, however I still get the "schema versions does not match".
The March is Production and the Dev is October. The plan is to upgrade Production, atlas not right now now.
As far as I can see there is no CU requirements between March 2013 and October 2013?1: Hard to get access to Production server right now.
2: Yes, however any custom components should not prevent the attach/upgrade. It might render the site unusable or create warnings in the upgrade process. But not prevent it.

Recover texts from one phone to another
My fiancé accidently deleted all texts from her phone (iphone4) trying to free up space. She would like some back.
I have all of them on my iphone 5.

It sounds like your fiancé is needing to restore or otherwise get some texts back onto her device that you have on yours which were accidentally deleted. One option is for her to restore from a backup that has these messages on them, and then delete what she wants to get rid of, and keep what she wants to keep:

GTX 680 Lightning now crashes to RED screen after RMA from March 2013
I had a GTX 680 Lightning crashing problem that required an RMA replacement back in March. Here's the thread I started about it: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=167822.msg1228389
Well, now I get a RED screen crash/restart every time I start any game. It happens within a few seconds to a few minutes, but it's consistent regardless of the game I play. Could this be another bad 680 after only 3 months?
My system specs: MSI GTX 680 Lightning 2GB, MSI GT 640 1GB (dedicated PhysX), i5-2500K, Asus P8Z77-V, Coolermaster V8, 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600, 4TB storage, Corsair HX1000, Dell 3008WFP, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.Red screens are usually caused by software isuues. First remove any monitoring software (like Afterburner) and retry. If no help try uninstalling current driver in safemode using >>Driver Fusion<< and power down. Last week I had to recieve an iPhone 3S loaner phone. The guy at the counter restored it partly (expect for apps); it worked like a headach and I exchanged it for an iPhone 4. He handed it over to me and said I could restore it once I was home. I go home, connect to my wifi, and nothing happens. I am unable to restore it so I plugged it into my laptop to restore from iTunes. It restores it from March 2013... I would like to have the newest backup as possible. I have tried to reset it to Factory Setting, taken out the SIM Card. And recently did the 6.1.3 Software Update.
Can anyone help me please!If you restored from itunes, then you got the newest backup it had. Are you sure you didn't back up to it recently? Maybe you were backing up to icloud. The two are different.

I have not recoeved any invoices since March 2013. Why?
The payments are proceeded every month but I don't have any of my invoicse from march 2013. It is strange , becouse this hapened after someone last year hacked Adobe payment system. I do Recieve e-mail from the system that adobe has recieved my payment s but no one sedn me my invoices along. I have speaked with one of the on line supporters , but even after he prommised me that the invoices will be sedn I didn;t recieve any. I whanted to setup and a seconf e-mail for recievig the invoises and I even gave him and the second one ... but the result is the same.

All my plat list have vanished, and all of my library has been duplicated and triplicated and some have 4 copies. i looked to try and delete the copied ones and tried to delete by putting on when they had been added. the date came up 11th march 2013 for ALL of the songs!. my library is at least 4 years old, and i constantly add songs. so why would it come up that date? and why have all my play list dissapeared?(I think also on that date) please help?
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Alternatively, depending on exactly when and why the library went missing, there may be a more recent .tmp file in the main iTunes folder that can be renamed as iTunes Library.itl to restore the library to a recent state.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
I've noticed more of these missing library posts of late and a common factor since I started asking is AVG Anti-Virus. It seems it might be at least part of the reason why the library file disappears. Try excluding the iTunes folder from any real-time scanning process.
Reverting to an earlier version of your library may clean up the duplicates issue along with restoring the original date added values. If you still have real duplicates I have a tool that might be able to help...

Hi I’m Mohammed abwane from Saudi Arabia. I purchased my me I phone 5 last march 2013. One week ago I try to restore this phone but when I arrive to activation point, this ask for apple Id and password. Unfortunately I forget the password and email I used for opening my account.
Then I send it to the suppler where purchased this phone they told me there is no way to fix this unless I give them the Id and password .know I don’t know where I can go because in my Location nobody know how to fix this problem.
At less I don’t know what I can do to fix this problem because I use this phone for my work and All my data and phone number in side this phone
Notes :- I have all the document ( invoice and box for this phone )which say that I phone for me .
I hope to get any answer from your good site other whys this phone will be useless for me

In the process of exchanging my defunct Iphone for a new one, some important text messages were lost. The messages obviously did not transfer over to my new phone as I had to restore my new phone from a backup performed a few days ago. Is there a special trick that will allow me to somehow enter my cell number, since it is still the same, in order to recover texts that were received in between wiping my old phone and getting a new one?
You can use an iPhone file explorer such as TouchCopy to get the messages off the old phone. But you can't put them on the new phone as messages. You could put them in a pdf file that you could read on the new phone.
Normally when you get a new phone the first thing you should do is transfer the contents of the old phone to it (Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support)). Then the problem does not arise. You are even prompted to do this when you activate the new phone. Once you have started using the new phone without doing this it is too late.

When I try and access March 2013 in Calendar the app simply closes. This happens if I click March in the month tape at bottom of screen or if I try swiping from February or April. Is there a fix, I've tried restarting the app and the iPad to no affect

Hi there!!...my ifone4s is no longer producing sound of any description with the exception of the earphone jack!!! I am running iOS 6.1.3....i have tried reset,restart and restore----no joy....i have cleaned the dock port and speaker and mike area ----no joy! If you use eabuds or headphones on occasion, try inserting and removing the earbuds/headphones several times in a row.

i would not want to bet on nokia ever releasing a patch or update in the software to allow this function on this particular phone.
if you look at nokia phones over the years, they have added functionality like this across a wide range all at once, take for example timed profiles on symbian phones. these have only just been phased in.
i do not think it is a development cop out, more along the lines that nokia is a huge company and as such would have a huge effor in market research. if they didnt pick this out through their market researc, why spend the money adding it?
the comment on annoyance is entirely personal to me, as it is important to you - you may want to consider moving to a symbian (series 60) based handset as these give you a lot of expansion for this sort of need. -
I just tried to copy text from power point to a word document. Since then the word document is frozen an shows no reaction. Also can not restart word. Can anyone help me to unfreeze or recover the word document?
If the PDF page content is an image (for text that'd by the image that any scanner provides) then it is an image that exports to Word.
Regardless, Adobe Reader cannot export PDF page content, cannot create PDF and cannot manipulate PDF page content.
Adobe Reader is a PDF viewer only.
Perhaps you have a subscription to one of Adobe's online subscription services.
(ExportPDF, PDF Pack, etc.)
Each of the online subscription services have their own dedicated user-2-user forums.

I've updated to yosemite from Mavericks, but since i can't connect to the internet I used my time machine back up which was march 2013. Now my macbook pro won't start and ends with a prohibted sign. Any suggestions pls.

LR3 - Questions regarding virtual copies with different exposures and Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop
Hello, I'm currently testing LR3. I have a master copy and 4 virtual copies with different exposures selected in LR3. I tought to myself that I could simply use the "Edit / In Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop" option and tune the resulting HDR image in
