Hi.I am from Azerbaijan. My problem this: When I bought the computer Computer had 1 Hard disk. Its memory about 620 GB... I devided it to 2 part...But I did this wrong. Then I didn't look it. 6 month later I wanted to recover my computer...Pressed ESC --Recovery manager---And problem Boot/BCD can't find. Then I restart computer...But it didn't open...I did format to comp with unorignal Windows 7...When it was formatting it deleted Recovery Disk...I don't notice it...Then Windows opened but there was nothing...No driver no HP...I installed it drivers from net. There weren't some drivers...example beats audio , hp programs...Now İ hope only to you.How i recover my comp to factory setting(((...Please help me...I have warranty...(((( thanks a lot...
P.S May be i wrote smth wrong in english ... İ am sorry

Since you formatted the Hard drive, there is no way to recover it since the data is most likely overwritten. Better buy the Recovery Media from HP and use that to restore to factory settings.
Your Windows OEM Key should be listed at the back of your laptop, near the battery. Download OEM Windows (your version) from here (notebookreview forum) and use your OEM key.

  • Help needed.. Changed HD, 'broken' DVD reader, working recovery disks.. how to?

Hello all, hope someone can help me here. I have a Toshiba Satellite p300-19f, win vista 32 in dotation.
Long story short, the computer has served me well for roughly 3 years now. All at a sudden, on startup when on windows charging page (with win logo and green counter going up), it started freezing.
I tried recovering last working win configuration, I tried recovering precedent backup points, at times I solved until the problem randomly showed up again (same identical problem), so ultimately I formatted and re-installed fresh vanilla version from recovery partition succesfully. Problem went away, until it came back. (all of this in 1 month time span)
It worked ok for a couple weeks, and started giving the same problem again. Ultimately I figured out (I immagine) that the hard drive must have some problems, as this freezing on windows startup (immediately distinguishable as the cpu stops working / the light in front stops twinkling) occured basically randomly, regardless of software installed in the pc, or time since last format.
I decided to change the hard drive, but obviously have the problem of the new operating system. My dvd burner is broken, or at least does not work reliably. I got an external sony burner and through the toshiba disk creator applet made the recovery disks (2 DVDs) successfully.
I changed the hard drive, tried to reboot and reistall using in laptop dvd, when it gets to copy the first big file it gives a CRC error, an aborts the whole thing (sending me to a prompt of commands though.. where I copied the whole content of the DVDs on the just made HDDrecovery folder in v: through the recognized usb external burner, but the computer failed to recognize on later startups). So I tried to boot it up with the recovery disks in the external burner (bios DOES support USB boot), the disks are read, the toshiba applet for recovery is started, and as soon as it gets to the dos-like windows it freezes on "check for medium in drive".
I have the recovery disks, I have a half working dvd reader in the pc that gives errors when copying the big files and aborts installation. I have an external dvd reader that is recognized at boot, starts the installation, but fails to find "the medium"...
I hope I have explained my problem more or less.. what can I do (apart from buying a new working dvd reader for the computer) ?
If there are specific info I need to give on hardware/software, please let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Can Envy K203TX recovery disks be used to recover an Envy K204TX?

Hi, The first thing i did when i got my Envy K203TX notebook, was create a set of recovery disks. Then I discovered that the notebook has several issues.HP sent me an on-site tech, and the tech said these issues were caused by several faulty hardware (display panel, motherboard, and the case has a bad battery lock). He helped me return the notebook as DOA. The problem is, HP store couldn't get me another K203TX, I paid like $150 more and upgraded to an Envy K204 TX. I now have the 204TX and this notebook has no issues at all, it's as good as it can get.My recovery disk set from the Envy K203TX is still with me. Question> Can I use these disks to recover my K204TX in case disaster strikes? Or shall I throw away these disks and create a fresh set of recovery disks for this computer?

The 203 has 15.6" diagonal FHD anti-glare WLED-backlit (1920 x 1080) http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04529223 The 204 has 15.6" diagonal FHD WLED-backlit touch screen (1920 x 1080) http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04529254 I would save the old disks but make a new set from the new laptop as it has touch screen. REO

  • I asked before about getting a set of recovery disks and how much for my HP Pavilion a6863w!

Hi, I asked before about getting a set of recovery disks for my HP Pavilion a6863w. It was answered and a link was provided on where to get the recovery disks. However, I was wondering if there was an upgrade set of those recovery disks that had windows 7 or even windows 8 for that matter. I don't know if thats possible but I would rather have windows 7 atlkeast since hp is outdated and my HP has Vista but Vista is the next on the chopping block to be un-supported and eventually discontinued. Any and all help and suggestions are welcome. Thanks
    This question was solved.

    Hi,
Sorry, you cannot obtain an HP Win 7 Recovery disc set for your PC because it shipped with Vista as the factory installed operating system.
Win Vista is in extended support until April, 2017. Win 7 is covered until January, 2020.
You would have to purchase a Win 7 OEM setup disc from an online vendor.

In this moment , Is there any way to recover my datafile ? plz help .. ..

    Vijay,
Of course you can open your database after creating a new datafile of same. Data of that particular datafile is ever lost.
I guess you mean "ater database create datafile" command right?I don't think that also will work here because that too needs archivelog files to make that new file consistent with rest of the databsae.
    Please see here,

As OP is in noarchivelog mode, so I don't think he has this option available.

  • T400 Recovery Disk deleted

I accidently deleted the Lenovo Recovery partition on the HDD of my old Lenovo T400 a long ago. Now I understand what it does, and I shouldnat have done that. I called the customer service and I was told it would cost me about $55 to get Recovery Data on DVDs. I dont feel like paying that much money for just a bunch of DVDs. Wondering if any one here would be willing to create the Recovery DVDs for T400 for me isnteadand mail it to me? I am based in COlumbus, Ohio area. I am willig to pay reasonable compensation for you time and money. And for your kindness and favor, it is prieceless.
    Thanks.

On a 400 they would be XP. Hardly worth it IMO.
You could do the manual install if you did not have an image backup. Getting an XP CD and use the key supplied under you notebook.

  • Zreport deleted How to recover.../

    Hi Guys
One of my Zreport is unfortunately deleted & is there any process to recover that as i havent got the last back up also.
Is there any process to get that back from any table.,
    Thanx & regards

    Hi,
If your report has been in a released request order you can reimport this transport.
Otherwise the only solution is to restore the whole database with the obvious side effects...
    Good luck

  • After creating an external recovery disk - delete recovery partition?

I wnat to install Linux on my new Thinkpad W520. To prevent damage, i created a recovery USB-Stick using the Lenovo-Tool "Create Recovery Media". Can i now delete the recovery partition/ wipe it and use it as my Linux Partition? Thanks in advance, Maffin
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I do not recommend it. There often are issues with self created recovery media - so it might be better to leave the recovery partition untouched.
The latest problem i've read in the german thinkpad-forum.de was that the recovery-media created on an external harddisk including a bootable USB-stick (using "Create Recovery Media") cannot be found after booting from the USB-stick.
Ordering a recovery DVD set will cost a fee of approx. € 18.- in/to Germany

  • Redo log files are deleted, how to recover the database

    Hi All,
I removed the redo01.log, redo02.log and redo03.log files of our Oracle database. And it caused the db to fail. Is there any way I can recover the database and startup database in normal mode? I do not need it to have all the latest data restored, I will be happy to just start the db and get going.
database is in arcive log mode.
    Thanks

    Hello,
You may try this if the database is mounted:
    recover database until cancel;
    cancel
alter database open resetlogs;Hope it can help.
    Best regards,
    Jean-Valentin

  • NXT files (once deleted how to recover?)

    Hi,
I am using the brick from LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0
I accidentally deleted the file RedData.dat from my NXT, and I need that for one of my programs.
Even when I tell the program to "write to red data file", it does not recreate the file, so I'm left with no data to show.
I am using all three data files, so I cannot simply just switch to another one.
I have also tried telling the NXT to create a new file when it runs the program, called RedData.dat.
What happens when I do this is that I get erratic results. Instead of a nice curve, I get lines that jump all over the place.
I am programming the NXT with NI LabVIEW 2009. The place where I deleted RedData.dat is from the NXT Terminal.
I view the data using the Data Viewer.
Also, I am trying to log motor rotations.
    Thanks for your help.

Do you have the NXT tethered?  What happens if you run the code the opposite way?  (i.e. if it's tethered, download the code directly and run, if it isn't, try tethering it)
Also, have you made sure to update the firmware on the NXT? What is its version?

  • Video deleted, how to recover?

can I get a deleted video back?

If you backed up the phone after recording, but before deleting the video, restore it from the backup. If you did not back it up in between, it is gone.
