Recovery for deleted photos when i buy a new iphone

I have a new iPhone and taken some pictures with it. When I connected the device to my mac, I clicked transfer/sync my files to new iphone. Then my all new photos were gone! How can I restore these photos?

You should have imported the photos from the Camera Roll with your computer before you selected to transfer the backup for your previous iPhone to your new iPhone.
The photos that were in the Camera Roll on your new iPhone are gone and not recoverable. Not possible to restore the photos since you chose not to import the photos first along with selecting to transfer the backup for your previous iPhone to your new iPhone which replaced the contents in the Camera Roll with the contents that were in the Camera Roll with your previous iPhone.
For future reference, always import these photos with your computer ASAP as with any other digital camera.

If you backed up your iPhone 5 before you did this, photo in the camera roll would be included in the backup. You would have to restore the entire backup to recover them. Also, you can see what's in the backup ahead of time. You can only find out what photos are there by restoring the backup.

All good suggestions and all correct. My recommendation is to backup as close to the time of getting the new phone, because anything done between the backup and restoring the new phone from backup will be lost. I lost some data from a game that I played between the two, yea, yea, I know, big whoop. But served as a reminder to back up.

Tired Of Re-Doing 40 Home Screen Icons When I Buy A New iPhone (or Touch)

I love my 3G and just bought a new 32gb iPod Touch. I plan on buying my wife and kids 3G's too.
Question:
I've got 40+ shorcuts to webapps (not app store apps mind you)and Safari URL's on my home screen, each with its own custom icon.
Is there a way that I can get my new iTouch and the 3 new 3G's I'm going to buy to sync to something (a backup?) so that I don't have to re-enter the URL's and all those icons again?
I almost tried the 'backup' option on first sync, but decided against it for fear that iTunes would only allow one device to be sync'd to a backup and thus cause a problem when I re-sync'd the original device.
Help.
Is there a way to save time on all the URL/icon re-do's?

If you want all iPhone settings for your iPhone including web apps and web clips to be the same on a new iPhone or iPod Touch, the only way to do so is the restore option from your iPhone's backup, which should not affect anything else with the original device.
Each iPhone and/or iPod or iPod Touch can have its one sync preferences with the same iTunes library and iTunes account, and each can receive the same backup without having any affect on the original device.

When to buy a new iPhone?

I have had an iPhone since November of 2007, and it's starting to show its age... The music skips sometimes when I'm using the phone in my car, Safari unexpectedly quits on me on occasion, and sometimes the phone does things that are just plain weird, like the keyboard popping up on the menu screen (not the search screen). Anyway, I want to get another iPhone to replace it, but I am unsure of whether or not I should get the 3Gs or wait for a new version to come out. I can't find any information on when Apple is planning to release a new version of the phone, and I'd be pretty mad if I bought a new phone and then see the company announce something 10x better a few weeks later.
I've read that the 3Gs is such an immense improvement over the original version that I would undoubtedly be satisfied, but I figured that if Apple is coming out with a whole new version in 2010 I might as well wait for it. Any thoughts?

There is no set time. You can charge whenever you like, & for as long as you like. You can't overcharge, & charging automatically stops when your battery is full. The Lithium battery in your phone has no memory effect.

Only if you made a backup of the old iPhone which includes the photos you had stored in Camera Roll (if the photo you want to restore is there) or if the photo was stored in Photo Stream. In both of the cases, you will be able to get back the photo, but note that Photo Stream deletes photos 30 days after adding them

I for one at least am not experiencing Wi-Fi dropping on iOS 6.
Try this..
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You may need to enter your network password.
Then restart the devices.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
And try turning off your router for about 5 minutes, turn it back on.

Yes, except photos will only transfer to the same device. For example, you could not restore an iPhone from the backup of an iPad and have photos transfer; it would need to be another iPad. Other restrictions for "cross-device" restores include:

I feel as though I am forced into repairing the iphone before I can backup the information (photos, videos, contacts). If the apple ID on the device is the same as the one on my iMac I do not understand why I have to unlock the iphone by typing in the 4 digit passcode. This is a little ******** as having the screen break seems to be the usual prpblem with the iphone, I want to be able to backup my files when I feel the obvious need to do so (eg. when it breaks)! Okay folkes, you were right and I was wrong.. I admit it. But I was pretty mad though when I tryed to backup the last few contacts I needed for work and couldn't do so. Worst things are when something gets broken (by me or whatever) when there is an emergency. I needed the contacts off of that phone real fast and couldn't do it, thats what got me real mad. And btw I am a Russian living in Moscow and instead of having an official Apple store we have shopes called ReStore who resell apple devices with ridiculous prices, same thing with the repairs. It is cheaper to sometimes buy a new iphone then repair an old one.. So there.. but I repaired it and now happy again with my apple device.. Thanks for the question. When it comes to iPhone, very little is stored on the SIM card. Contacts, Photos, etc can be backed up with iTunes or iCloud and then transferred to a new device. For information on how to do so, see this resource:

If you had iCloud backup turned on, and it made a backup - yes. If you didn't have iCloud backup turned on - but were using iCloud for Contacts, calendars, etc. You will get the contacts and calendars, etc back.
Purchases made with your appleID can be redownloaded as long as they are still available in the iTunes store.
If you connected your phone to a computer with iTunes, there may be a backup on there as well.
