Closing the device deletes what has been typed as an e-mail up to that point. Is this normal, and can it be avoided?
If the content you typed was actually saved before you quit the session, it should be there
later on when you open it again. There may be some settings in preference to auto-save
that may need checking; or perhaps there could be something else behind this issue...

Yes, the old album art view is gone, bu you can see the album art for a song that's playing by clicking on the art image and it will open a bigger view.

I need help. My ipad 2 was stuck in recovery mode. i tried to connect it to itunes and restore but after downloading the file and extracting the software there is a pop up message that says "the device is full. Deleting files and emptying your recycle been will help you restore." how am i going to erase files if i can't open my ipad. i dont know what to do. Its been 2 days now. please help. thanks.
yes i am sure. This are the exact words... "The iPad "iPad" could not be restored. The disk you are attempting to use is full. (Removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space". i tried some options, hard reset, redsnow, tinyumbrella but still it's stuck.

if you deleted a device off of find my iphone.how do you get the device to start back up agian and put it back on find my iphone? becuase i have delted my dads iphone acedentily of find my iphone and it is nownot working. his phone is just staying at a black screen with a loading circle on it. i need to know how to fix this..like do i go the to apple store or the carrier store or can i fix it at home?
Try these two ways to fix the iPhone (in order). If neither works, you would have to take it to the store.
1. Reset the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons togehter for about 10 seconds. If it works, you'll get the Apple logo and then something good should happen.
2. Try recovery mode as described here:

If one of these work, you can then re-introduce the iPhone to Find My iPhone by doing Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone = "On" on the device. -
I deleted my music through the "manage storage" section in the options to make room for the ios update awhile back. Now I can't get any music back onto my device through itunes. (I've tried restoring the device twice to no avail)
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Deleted by mistake some files off the internal memory
Device storage was almost full and I decided to check what too most space and delete it. I went through folders to see that some folders were repeated twice. Decided to try deleting one(automatically regretted it) to see if the other one stayed.
As a conclusion, I deleted 600 items, most of them music, of the internal memory.
Is there any way to recover it?There are different recovery software programs available out there that run on Windows. Perhaps one of them might be able to recover it if you connect to your PC. There is nothing on the device that can recover it.
That said, I've noticed the duplicated folders, as well, but haven't tried to delete them.

when I plug my iPhone in to my computer, iTunes doesn't recognize it as a device. I have deleted and re-downloaded iTunes twice which seems to fix the problem temporarily but then the next time I plug my phone in, the device is not recognized.
What happens if you go to iTunes > File > Devices, do you get the option to Sync iPhone?

How do I clean up mail in my icloud? I have already deleted old mail (from all my e-mail accounts) on all devices, and emptied the junk & deleted files, but it still shows that I am at max on my icloud. What do I do to free up space? (photos & apps do not take up that much room). When I go to manage storage on any device & it will display how much room each program or app is using, it still shows that my e-mail is taking up the most room. Is there a way to actually log on to the icloud server to manage what it stored there? If so, how do I do it? Mail is backed up automatically. If you make backups automatically, open Mail application and then, open the Time Machine app (in /Applications/Utilities). You will access to the Time Machine interface, and you will be able to see all your mails of all the backups you have, and you will be able to restore them. I have an iphone 3G which has been disabled after a child tried to get into it. Itunes will not connect until I have put the passcode in but the device will only enable emergency calls and does not allow a passcode to be put in. I have put it into recovery mode and itunes can't see it. There is currently no SIM card in it and it's not connectng to the wifi so I can't wipe it from the cloud. Any ideas how I can get into it?
