Recovery of Data Without Backup on Itunes
M iPad froze today showing the USB and ITunes icon on the screen. I restored it and in so doing, did not click back up. I have now lost all my data since the last backup. Can I retrieve this lost data?I have tried recovery programmes and syncing the device but they recover data from the last backup and nothing after that. Please offer help!I would greatly appreciate it. Really stressed!
It was in recovery mode. Once in recovery mode, there is nothing left on the device to back up, so yes, you lost everything since the last backup. And no, you can not recover lost data that was not backed up. It's gone.

When i on the phone, it shows itunes icon. I downloaded itunes, it detected the iphone but asking me to restore before i can sync. how do I get to useable mode?
Either you will have to restore something on the phone before you can sync it or your only other alternative if you deleted everything without a backup is to restore the phone as new.

Recover iPhone Data without Backup
I recently was forced to restore my iPhone using a backup from about a month ago. I didn't realize that several contacts had since been added and not synced, so they don't exist on the backup I used. Is there anyway to recover these contacts from the phone itself?
If the most recent backup is from about a month ago, this indicates that was the last time your iPhone was synced with iTunes since your iPhone's backup is updated as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
If you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes for about a month, any new contacts added to your iPhone since the last sync have not been synced with the supported application on your computer and are not included with your iPhone's backup, so there is no way to recover these contacts.
I usually don't go more than a week without syncing my iPhone with iTunes, and I also have a MobileMe account which provides for syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with my iPhone. After a new contact is entered on my iPhone, it is synced with the "cloud", which in turn is synced automatically with the Address Book on my Mac, and vice-versa. -
Cannot see the date of backup in Itunes
Hi All,
I'm a new user of Itunes and I encountered some difficulties.
Ipad connected to the PC:
In the 'summary' tab, I clicked 'this computer' (in backups part) then 'save now'.
After a couple of seconds, the save is ended but the date displayed below is an old one.
If I try to restore, the last backup is an old one.
Can somebody help me ?
Thanks beforehand

The iPod should show up in Finder, iTunes, and System Profiler. Check system profiler by clicking the Apple in the top left corner of the screen>About this Mac> More info> USB(under Hardware)
Is the compuuter a Power Mac G4?If its a portable computer make sure its plugged into the wall.

How is the ipod connected to the computer? Is it attached to the back of the computer, hub, keyboard, or moniter? It should be directly connected to the back of the computer. -
Recover list game data without backup?
A person at my dorm pranked me and deleted one of my games. When I re-download it, all my data is gone.
Is there any way to recover the data?Unless a hard drive was securely erased when reformatted, it is possible to recover data stored on the drive before it was reformatted only if the portion of the drive where the data was previously stored has not been overwritten by new data.
If this is possible with the iPod, the longer you continue to use your iPod before an attempt is made to recover the deleted data with a data recovery utility, the greater the chances the area on the flash drive where the data was previously stored will be overwritten by new data. -
I have an IPhone 4 which I just updated with the latest software, which put in it in Recovery Mode. It has the picture of the plug with ITunes, I downloaded it now its saying its in Recovery Mode, how do I save all of my previous data without Restoring?
I updated the phone before backing it up on iTunes, now the update wanted me to connect the phone with iTunes and it says the phones in recovery mode and it must be restored before its used with iTunes. I go to click restore and it says it will reset it to factory default and I'll lose all my current data. I have all my sons pictures and videos along with this notes. I can't lose all of this data! Please help! You have to restore the iPod, no ifs, ands, or buts...
After iOS is installed you will be asked if you what to set it up as a new iPod or if you want to restore from a backup.
If you have a good backup you can restore that and you're good to go.
If you don't have a good backup, then you end up with a "clean" iPod.... -

I am not sure what will happen if I click restore now.
Most likely, you will lose everything. Data, photos, installed apps (they still are in iTunes, btw), etc.
Unless you had flagged to sync your photos on iTunes: you can found them (at least, the last synced ones) in the folder you told to store photo data.
If you using a Mac, check your iPhoto app, or Pictures folder. If windows, check your Images folder, to see if they were in. Good luck! -

Its the demo for recovery of a lost datafile without backup, but you should have database in archivelog
in order to make complete recovery, otherwise in noarchivelog mode you may lose some data.Every steps is
self explainatory so i feel need'nt to add some textual description during demo
If any findings can be elaborate more please do comments.

Hello,
I formatted my computer without backup all of my favourites in Firefox. I have Firefox sync account set up before that between the 2 computers but both of them have formatted. Now, how do I get the data out from my Sync account? Did Firefox save my data on their server and how can I check that?
Thanks,Also:
*If you have regenerated your Sync key or reset your Sync password, you can not recover your previous data
*IMPORTANT - write down your Sync key as instructed in the original set up of Sync
*if you have another device (computer or mobile) paired to the computer where you are having a problem, you can either:
*#pair the problem computer to that other device
*#get the Sync key from that other device
'''<u>Remember</u>''', Sync was never intended for backup. The reason for its existence is to sync-up 2 devices. To back up your Firefox profile, which you should do frequently, to another drive or a pin/thumb drive or other backup media, see:

Is there a way to recover iCal data from computer or iPhone backup through iTunes?
I synched my iPad with my computer and my ALL of my iCal information disappeared from my computer. I tried put my calendar information back on my computer from my iPhone, but instead the reverse happened, and all of my calendar information disappeared from my iPhone, too.
I am using an older MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo), running Mac OS X Lion version 10.7.4, an iPhone 4, iPad 1, and iPod Touch, all using iOS 5.1.1 (9B206). I regularly use iCal on my iPhone and on my computer, but not on the iPad and iPod Touch.
I do not use iCloud because my personal calendar and contact information was appearing on other family member's iPhones. (We share an iTunes library in under my Apple ID, and I did not want to create a different Apple ID for iCloud yet.).
Is there a way to recover my iCal info on my computer? Or alternatively, could I recover it on my iPhone from my iTunes backups (my iTunes backups are encrypted)?
Of course, I learned my lesson, and if I recover my data, I will back up my calendar daily, but for now, valuable information is lost, and I would like to recover it if at all possible.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. You'll have to confirm with the developer of Keeper whether the data is stored as part of the iPhone backup or not. If it is, then restoring the iPhone from your latest back should restore the data to Keeper. My guess, though, is that since the free version of Keeper won't allow you to create a backup, the data is not part of the iTunes backup and hence won't be restored.
Regards. -
I lost all my data while doing the latest software upgrade, how do I get it back if I dont have a backup on iTunes?
If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade. -
My Ipod has a lot of music on it! but my computer crashed and I lost all my info and data! Is there a way that i can access my Ipod's data without itunes

I note that log_buffer even if set, is going to be different {more} post 10.2.x – however if it (oracle internal algorithm) sets a very high value we can see side effects of too long "LOG FILE SYNC"? In one of our instance, we have a SGA granule size
