Recovery Wizard missing from MDT welcome menu

I can't seem to get the Recovery Wizard to show on the MDT 2013 welcome screen when doing a PXE boot.
One thing I did want to clarify, if the client pc doesn't have a recovery partition is this why I don't get to run the wizard?
Im wanting to see the recovery wizard option so I can go in and run the DART Locksmith tools
MDT 2013
Windows 7
Dart 8
I thing I've tried everything and getting nowhere!

MDT uses a round about way to get the Recovery wizard to work in MDT Litetouch console.
THe recovery tools are not included by default in the WAIK, so MDT extracts these components from a working boot.wim from one of your OS install sources.
Can you do a dump of all the WinPE WIM files in question:
DISM.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:C:\Path\To\Wim\winpe.wim /Index:1
Dump the boot.wim in your <deploymentShare>\Operating Systems\<OS>\sources\boot.wim
and the wimpe.wim under the c:\program files(x86)\windows kits\...\WinPE.wim
Both files must exist on your machine *and* they must be the same OS Version.

  • Recovery option missing from ThinkVantage boot menu

On my x220 I installed an mSATA hard drive in addition to the built-in disk. I re-installed Windows 7 and all of the Lenovo utilities onto the mSATA drive, then deleted the 100mb system and primary Windows partition from the spinning disk. I did not touch the RnR partition.
Now when I press the blue ThinkVantage button during start-up, recovery is not one of my choices. I cannot get into the recovery partition. What steps are necessary to re-enable this feature?
Thank you. Screenshots below show the in-tact recovery partition, and my menu of choices when I press the ThinkVantage button

Did you install the mSATA using recovery discs from Lenovo or make a clean install?
As the F11 is the only option which is missing, and the only option which is not a direct BIOS command and must be in the Master Boot Record, my guess is that your BIOS / MBR don't know that it should show the message or even know that the recovery partition exists.
How you sort that all out is unknown to me, not one of my skills. Maybe install the mSATA from recovery discs which would then also locate the recovery partition also on the mSATA or somehow edit the MBR which I definitely don't know how to do???

  • Why is the "Send to iDVD" command missing from the share menu in iPhoto 9.4.3 when trying to send a slideshow to iDVD?

How come the "Send to iDVD" command is missing from the share menu? In iPhoto I used to be able to send my slideshows to iDVD simply my clicking on the slideshow, selecting the "Share" menu at the top and going to "Send to iDVD". Now in iPhoto 9.4.3 that option is missing.
Further i am also using iDVD 7.1.2 and running OSX version 10.8.3.
    Thanks!

Export the slideshow via the Export button at the bottom of the slideshow window with Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, choose a theme and drag the exported movie file to the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the  File ➙ Save as Disk Image  menu option.  This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it.  If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality.  Always use top quality media:  Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

  • Photomerge command has gone missing from File Automate - menu

Was using Photomerge command successfully in PS and at some point later PS crashed and locked my Mac. I restarted and now the Photomerge command is missing from the File Menu. I asked Adobe support for help, they had me reinstall latest PS but it's still not there.
Is there anywhere in the PS Folders I can check for a file associated with this command (like there are for Scripts for example) and could possibly replace?
I also tried initiating the command from Lightroom with a set of images selected and using the relevant contextual menu and it produces an error saying Photoshop could not be launched (it is launch though).

Hi and thank you. Yes Photomerge.jsx is there in the scripts folder. Although when I go to launch other scripts from within PS using the File> Scripts… menu I get the following error:
Could not complete the Image Processor command because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in
    How can I get it?

  • "Toolkit for CreateJS" Missing from Flash CC Menu

I'm a Creative Cloud user running the latest version of Flash Professional CC on my 27" iMac running OSX Mavericks. I want to export an animation file using CreateJS. However, the "Toolkit for CreateJS" option is missing from my "Window" drop down menu - it's not even grayed out, it's just not there. Using the alternate of Shift+F9 doesn't work either. I tried downloading the CreateJS extension from Adobe but is says I need to be running CS6 for it to work, and that "Toolkit for CreateJS" is supposed to come pre-installed in Flash CS Pro. But it's not there. This is very frustrating, and I'd be deeply grateful for any help someone could give me. Thanks!

HTML5 publishing with the new update is now more inetgarted with the application and we now have a new document type called "HTML Canvas" which publishes using the same CreateJS libraries.
The Toolkit for CreateJS panel is no longer present with the new update, but the HTML5 publishing using the toolkit is now intgerated as part of the HTML canvas document type that you will see new in this update.
    Please refer to:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/using/whats-new.html#Creating%20and%20pub lishing%20HTML5%20Canvas%20content
Also you can convert your previously created AS3 document that publish to HTML5 into HTML5 Canvas documents. This is also mentioned in the documentation below:

  • How do I launch Organizer and Edit from the welcome menu of photoshop Elements 12?

I've been trying to get Adobe Photoshop Elements software to work on my computer since mid December.  I've had alot of responses to different options, even from Adobe themselves, and nothing is working.
I get the Welcome Menu screen but when I click on either Organizer or Edit nothing happens.  I am the administrator on my home computer and tried launching as administrator but nothing works.
I've tried launching it from "Program File" exe but nothing.  When I do this I get this error message; "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
I've tried a Install Photoshop Elements in a simplified mode, nothing.   I've shut down my firewall and virus program and then install, nothing.
Looks like I've stooped everyone.  Now I can't even return it because the package is open.
Is there anyone out in cyber land that has a simple yet brilliant solution for me?
    My computer is a 64-bit Operating System, Intel (R) Core i7 CPU, 869 @ 2.80GHz, Windows 7 Professional.
    perplexed

If the executable is not being recognized you must have an incomplete or faulty installation.
I would suggest uninstalling via the control panel (Add/Remove Programs) and then re-install again from a different source. You can use the link below for the free trial (it’s identical) and if you get it correctly installed, simply use your serial number to validate and make the product permanent.
The link starts with the Adobe Download Assistant. You then browse to the photography programs to select PSE12 to start the download. After the download completes, installation should commence automatically but you may need to double click on Setup to start it off.

  • Photoshop missing from bridge tools menu

I have upgraded from CS2 to CS3 and now cannot access Photoshop automate features via bridge as the Photoshop menu item is missing from the Bridge tools menu. I am running XP professional all programmes are up to date

All items are checked in Startup Scripts dialog, but when I click on Reveal My Startup Scripts, the folder is blank.
In /Library/Application Support/Adobe, there is no Startup Scripts CS5 folder.
I have now uninstalled CS5, used the cleaner and reinstalled it from different download files seven times, so I doubt that's the problem.
Don't know what to do next.

  • HT4623 The 'software update' tab is missing from the General menu. How do I get it reinstalled?

Software Update tab is missing from General settings. How do I fix this.  I NEED TO LOAD NEW new a new iOS

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

  • PSE11 Outlook Option is missing from Client Email Menu

I have recently installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a new Windows 7 64 bit PC.
When I try and send an attachment by email (Share - File Attachment) then my Outlook 2010 client is missing from the list of Email Client options. I only see the Adobe service and Windows Live Mail.
Is there a way of getting Elements 11 to recognise that I have Outlook 2010 installed ?
    Thanks, Dave

    Hi Dave,
Yes, it would be useful if Adobe included this sort of thing in the release notes or even a FAQ.
I think that the main problem lies in the 32bit PSE trying to talk to a 64bit application.
I did notice that when I got my Office 2010, even Microsoft recommend to use the 32bit version.
Good Luck - please let us know the results.

  • Save As missing from drop down menu.

I don't have the Save As option in my file dropdown menu. I would like to save pages documents as word, I am unable to check that box its grayed out. if anyone can let me know how to resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it. It only has a Save option and that does not allow me to save as word.

Before "saving" as Word I advise you to save the document in its native format, .pages. The conversion the Word isn't perfect. Then to get a Word document you have to Export to Word, either from the File menu or from the Share menu in Pages.

  • Bluetooth missing from Ctrl + Click menu since SL upgrade

I used to be able to Ctrl + Click a file and one of the menu options was to send it to a Bluetooth device. Since upgrading to Snow Leopard this option appears to be gone.
Is there a way to get this back or have Apple removed a great time saving feature?
(Bluetooth appears OK in Preferences and the toolbar at the top but not this menu)

Yes same Right Click Bluetooth accessibility is missing ...very annoying like other problems... I'm a former windows user but I have to say windows right click functionality is superior, you can right click anything and then go from there... Apple, Please sometimes I don't want to press short key strokes to get something done I want Short key strokes and Right click Menu options just Like windows... Thank you.

  • TV option missing from FN-F5 menu on Satellite M30

I just bought an S-video cable and a sound cable to enable me to connect to my TV and watch films from my laptop. After connecting it to both sides I tried to connect to the TV output using the fn f5 key.
However, at this point I did not know what button to press on my TV ?(ir the s-video option). After figuring this out I tried again on my laptop only to find that the only option available on the fn f5 menu is lcd/crt. All the others are now missing. I went through the display settings way but this does not work either, and only turns the screen black for a few seconds before turning back on.
Can anyone suggest a way to get all the other options back on the fn f5 menu or if there is an easier way to view my desktop and watch films from my laptop to my TV. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank u.

    hi
i also tried setiing it up using the display properties way, but it also does not work. Also in my display settings i do not have an 'NVidia tab' but i have a 'GeForce FX Go5200 32M/64M' Tab instead.
But when i click 'device settings' from a little drop out (to the side) box and then tv, it brings up the warning box - 'windows will now apply your new device settings...' so i click ok to this and the screen turns black for about 2 seconds and turns back on. from which i get another warning box 'your desktop has now been reconfigured... and a little timer asking if i want to continue' but nothing happens after i press yes.
on my tv i see part of my desktop, not in proper colour and very zoomed in, very unclear, with no icons or pointer.
