Recruitment - error

Hi,
Though PB10 i m created applicant number. Then in PB30 i m updating the 0024 infotype i m getting the error 01 objecect applicant number does not exists.
I checked the applicant report that applicant numbers is not there.
The applicant's is not updating in the tables.
How can i solve this error. Pls let me know on this.

E-Recruiting error in SLG1 Log after modification to Container Sequence

Hello there,
We are running E-Recruiting 3.0, and I have made a change to the Container Sequence for the Applicaiton Wizard (both employee and external candidate). My HR group wanted to remove the tab that was for candidates to type in a cover letter, and instead have them attach it (Word doc etc.) on the attachment tab. After doing this, I did regenerate the URL's using RCF_GENERATE_URLS.
Now, when I am logged in as a recruiter, if I go into "Candidate Selection" and then drill into the "Application" for any of the candidates, I'm getting an error message in the SLG1 log (I am able to look at the application, only noticable issue is in the SLG1 log). It is within the Application, and not the Candidate Profile that the text from the "cover letter" tab was showing up.
The error message is:
No candidate could be found for US SUPPORT
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE===========CM003 line 345
Further details include:

Thank you for the quick response, but It doesn't look like this information helps me. Service hrrcf_cand_reg does have service user RCF_CAND_UNR assigned to it, along with the eight other services that you listed.
A user for the candiate does exist, as it was created when they registered on our E-Recruiting site. The external candidates user ID is a dialog user, and is assigned the authorization given to the reference user RCF_CAND_EXT.
Basically, I was not getting this error message in the SLG1 log until I removed the "Cover Letter" element from the Application Wizard Container Sequence. This was done after we went live, and some candidates actually entered information ito the "Cover Letter" tab within the Application Wizard. I can still see that information now, which I would like to, for the people who actually entered something. I just want to know how to stop the error messages when I view the application (not the Candidate information).

I have generated report using RCF_GENERATE_URL for the employee( 0001 ) and pasted the link in the browser.the Following error was displayed. 1. How can i solve this error. Logon Error
"Logon requires activated Single Sign-On on this server. This is not the case. Contact your system administrator" 2. My Second questions Is there any way we can see this page without activating the Single sign-on

for your second question:
when you run the program to show the URLS, choose the login ones, there is a login for external candidates and for internal candidates. Try to access this pages.
If this solution does not work, try to deactivate the SSO in your system. Have a look to the SICF

E-Recruiting : Error message

Dear Friends,
we are implementing the succession planning module of eRecruiting.
I have created a user for succession planner role & generated the URL to the relevant BSP page.The login is successful.
When i click on the create succession plan link under maintenance, i get the following error :
"Important primary table entries are missing in table OBJS -> no transport ".
Can you please tell me what this means & how to solve it?
I also got this error when running the report HRALXSYNC & trying to repair a few of the records (Object types P and CP)
Also, i have a problem of overwriting the user in IT5102 with a new one if i change the infotype 105 for a person in PA.Inspit of executing the repair with the report,it is not workin? an tips for this?

Hello Sowmya,
for setting up the BAdIs for integration and HRALXSYNC check note 997181 it explains the basics of the set up. In addition look for HRALXSYNC in sap net and put in every note u find.
To the development topic. I am not sure how "official announced" that is - if a moderator closes this topic in 5 minutes it is probably not official :o) . As far as I know the new development strategy for succession management has be presented on the hr partner meeting at sap. There all the consultancies which have the HR partner status met in march or april, i think. Unfortunately I am not invited to such meeting but i heard from ppl dealing with the topic that they stoped all succession management rollouts as they expect that the current solution is dead. According to the rumors a complete new component having nothing to do with the current one will be released. But I cannot supply any document. As long as in the e-recruiting OCS schedule support packages are put in 2 weeks after they are released compared to core HR where you get the info 1.5 years before release i do not expect that there is a lot of info in sap net.
If you have contacts to one of the bigger consultancies or even work for one there is probably someone who was on that meeting and can supply you with the information / presentations of this meeting.

We are usinng standard BSP HRRCF_POST_LST for posting the Job.
But when after releasing the job i go on th job posting page and when i click on "CREATE JOB POSTING " button i'm getting the following error.

E-Recruitment error message :Page cannot be displayed

While testing the E rec BSP pages from SE80 I am getting the error message:
Page cannot be displayed.
What I have done is as follows:
Step 1:defined the context in table V77RCF_CONTEXT
Step 2:defined the element of container sequence in table V77RCF_CS_ITEMC by copyin the data from table V77RCF_CS_ITEM
Step3. defined the container sequence in table V77RCF_CS_SEQC and defined the element.
Step 4.defined link for start pages in table V77RCF_SP_LINKC while copying the data from table V77RCF_SP_LINK
Step 5.Define Start page groups in table V77RCF_SP_GROUPC while copying the enteries from V77RCF_SP_GROUP
Step 6;Defined Start pages in table V77RCF_SP_ASIDC while copying enteries from table V77RCF_SP_ASID
Step 8:I generated the url using the program RCF_GENERATE_URLS using Https protocol
Apart from above setting I have also made entries in the following customer tables:
T77RCF_SP_ID(C) - Startpages
T77RCF_SP_ID(C)T - Startpages texttable
T77RCF_SP_GROUP(C) - Startpage groups (the blocks with a number of links)

When I try generating the url, It popups for User Name and Password, then it gives the Message like this..
"An Intenal error occured, Please try again later"

Recruitment: ERROR -- Settings for Word Processing System are wrong

Hi All,
SAP System: 4.7.
In both cases wheteher I configure feature WPROC to return value as :
1) RTF - so that MS Word woulds be used for applicant letters, OR
2) ' ' - so that SAP Script Editor is used for applicant letter.
get the same error while I try to run transaction PB60
<b>ERROR: Settings for word processing system are wrong.</b>
But the very same settings are working in IDES.
Can you tell me where have I possibly gone wrong or what am I overlooking ?

Hi Urvashi,
Please check the following in your system:
- Go to PE03
- feature 'WPROC'
- select 'Attributes'
- press 'Display'
- press 'Struct.'
- there you will find the Basic information 'Passing type'
This must be set to '2' (Table Transfer). If this is set
to '1' i.e. please change this entry.

E-Recruiting - Error during Registration

Hi All,
I'm in the process of doing configuration for a e-rec demo system. I am working on trying to get the Candidate Registration process in place. I was able to get the candidate registration start page. After I filled in the candidate username and hit save, it gives me an error message saying 'You are not Authorized to assign roles'.
I checked to make sure the service hrcf_cand_reg has a valid service user, with the proper role. Just to be on the safe side I gave the service user SAP_ALL. I still get the same error. Not sure what the problem could be.
Has anyone experienced this? How were you able to fix the error?
Any details on these kinds of errors and what they could be related to will be helpful

Hello Amina,
the SAP delivered role are buggy with some releases. Can you please supply some additional information on:
- Release
- Support Package
- Integrated installation / Standalone installation
- Installation scenario 1 server / 2 server
For a blind shot:
- check if your service user is restricted to a special user group. If so he cannot assign roles to other user groups even w/ sap_all
- if you have 2 server installation check rights on both servers

MSS for e-recruiting - error with workflow user since no candidate exists

Hi all!
We are trying to set up the requisition request in MSS based on the new standard WF templates specified in SAP note 949625.
I can create a requisition request but the WF failes to create the e-recruiting requisition (NB) because our workflow system user does not have a candidate defined (No candidate could be found for US WF-BATCH).
How can we address this issue?

Im pretty much going through the same scenario now. On registration external candidate does not receive verification email. I am thinking this has got to do with WF-BATCH not behaving. Plz guide me through this. What values do we need to use in the report. RCF_CREATE_USER. I am giving the following values and not able to proceed further. I am using an exisiting PERNR and getting a msg
'A candidate already exists for the employee number'
First name : workflow
Last name : batch
User name : wf-batch
Personnel number : existing PERNR (75481235)
Position : above PERNRs position number (2184)
E-mail address : as maintained on wf-batch user ([email protected])
Alternatively if i give a candidate number in the place of personnel number its giving another msg;
'Enter a value for field langugage according to ISO 639. Not sure if some config needs to be maintained somewhere on this but entries on T002TX seems alrite.

Error in Generating letter for correspondence in Recruitment

dear Experts,
I am working on Recruitment module in SAP HCM. Have 1 problem when I tried to generate the letter from the recruitment activity e.g. receipt of application
When I tried to generate it, the system will call up Microsoft Word, but then it displayed a small screen, asking in which file format I would convert the file e.g. plain text, encoded text, RTF, HTML, etc.
When I selected RTF, it would give me error message "unknown error". When I selected "plain text" or "encoded text", it would generate error message "Internal error in SAP OLE document container control"
Did anyone face problem like that? would really appreciate if you could share the remedy

I have tried to update the installation of MS Word 2002, it didn't work. Then I installed the MS Office 2003 which include MS Word 2002, still it gave me the same error.
There is something about the office integration with the SAP, which I suspect the problem is on installation, although I am not sure which part.

I am working on implementation of Recruitment module.I am facing a problem while printing a letter for confirm receipt, invitation for Interview etc.
error is "Internal error in SAP OLE document container control
Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION019"
Pl suggest whether this error of customization or of BASIS.
I want to get letters printed through std SAP system.

Error while using Recruitment application in ESS Portal

Hi Experts,
We are facing two issues when we are using recruitment application.
By this applicaton,the concerned can raise a requirement to the recruitment dept.
Some users are uanble to use the application.
After filling the data,some users are getting the error as "Unable to send E mail notification and can not complete action.This activity could not be read.
And another error of the application is after completion of enrtering details some users are getting the error message as " HR Requisition request successfully created with ID XXXXXXXXXX .Request is assigned to NULL.
Kindly help me out for the resolution of the issues.

We are not using e-recruitment.
We have developed a portal application called Recruitment application.
By this user can raise the requirements in his deprtament and time to be filled.
E mails were already there in in communications infotype.
Please advice me to resolve the problem.
