Recs for shortcuts/settings for Wacom users?

Having succumbed to the pain of carpal tunnel, I just purchased a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. I'm just getting up to speed and wondered if any other Wacom users out there had any recommendations for how to set up shortcuts & settings for use in Final Cut?

I've been using a Wacom as a mouse replacement for about ten years, I can't express to you how much I love my Wacom tablets, they're wonderful.
My choice is it to really only use the tablet as a mouse replacement, I don't use any fancy button assignments that are available these days. In fact I set up the driver in "mouse mode", that allows my wrist to stay fairly stationary as I whip around my dual monitors. I set the pen to be single-click on the lower side of the button, the top side is a double-click.

Missing namespace for XI Settings for MDM Catalog 3.0

Hi All,
After having a SRM and PI server up and running, I am following the XI Settings for MDM Catalog 3.0 in the Note 1177780 https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/1177780
And I am now stuck at page 4 Interface Determination.
The problem is that I cannot find the namespace http://sap.com/xi/SRM-MDMCatalog
Thus, I cannot further proceed to interface mapping.
Any ideas?
PS: I found that if I
1/ do not follow the guide and use Business System as service, I can have F4 help on the namespace available in the Design Builder
2/ follow the guide and use Business Service as service, the inputs are just like text labels, and there is no F4 help on the namespace
So should I still follow the guide ? Or I will be better off using Business System as service ?

New post for Army Settings for Microsoft Exchange

I am looking to see if anyone out there has been able to setup their iPhone to use Microsoft Exchange to view/edit their emails and contacts with an Army conus account. Not the normal AKO settings for email. If you have been able to set up the exchange in order to view folks on the portal. Even if you had to use a VPN site.
I got that the settings have not been yet authorized by the military. I know what OPSEC is. This does not apply in this case. Note this article that the Army is starting to use the iPhone for sensitive communications. http://www.ipodnn.com/articles/09/04/20/us.military.goes.ipod/ I know what and what not to talk about on NIPR sites. For classified items I will use the SIPR net.

IMG Settings for "Define Settings for Attachements" SRM 5.5

I hope some can help me too.
I use SRM 5.5 and want configure also attachement transfer from SRM to R3 (700).
I have implemented the
BAPI - BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW
with the method
FILL_REQ_INTERFACE
and the statement
CV_ATTACH_TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'.
I have also done the settings in DC10, DC20, DC30.
But my Problem is that i dont get a attached document in R3 if i look in TA (ME23N).
In SICF i have configure the docserver with ALIAS.
In SMICM i get no error message if i start with NONE entry in field RFC Connections.
Can anybody give me help with the IMG settings in "Define Settings for Attachements"?
i think in this settings i have some to fill out but dont know really what!
please can someone help me with this problem.

I have now added in the BAPI the 2 statements
BE_STORAGE_CAT = 'DMS_C1_ST'
BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'
and now i get in SAP Portal following error message if i want attach a file:
The instruction at "0x0adca7b9" referenced memory at "0x00000000"
The memory could not be read.
After this i try it again without this2 statements and i get the same error message?!?
So what can i do now?

Table for field settings for vendor master

Can you please let me know which table do i need to refer if I want to know which fields are maintained mandatory, optional, suppres for Vendor master for each account groups.
I have looked into table T077K, but the table values are showing for example ..................................... How to conclude with these values.

Installed path for registry settings for Installer

Hi!
I want my installer to add some registry keys to the Windows registry. The value of these registry keys is dependent on what the user picks as their install path during the installation of my software. Does anyone know if there is some variable that represents the install path like %install path% or something?
I'm using LabVIEW 2009 SP1.
Let me know if you need any more information!
I suppose if there isn't a solution, I can add code to my program to create these registry keys after the program has been installed.

Turns out [INSTALLDIR] can be placed in the registry settings of a LabVIEW installer for your LabVIEW application.

Enable the UAC settings for Domain Controller / Member servers and for end user systems

We are working on hardening the security for all Domain Controllers / Member Servers and end users systems. As part of it we would like to know the best practice for UAC settings for each of these servers. There are 8 settings related to UAC and as of now
we configured just "User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users" as disabled for the servers OU. Also not sure about other settings and how it affect the normal operations like installing Windows updates / applications
through SCCM or manually on servers or end user systems and other stuffs.

Best settings for exporting crisp video/graphic from iMovie to YouTube?

Hi, I am working on a video for a client and after viewing on YouTube they had some issues with the type not looking "crisp," and I'm not sure how to fix it, not sure if it's a YouTube thing or something I am doing wrong.
I am working in iMovie 6/HD on OS 10.4.11. I do my "type slides" in Photoshop and import them into the iMovie as photos (JPGs). I know some text/titles can be done in iMovie but there is very little control I have over what goes where, so by making my type slides in Photoshop I have more creative control to do what I want. I have done tests and it doesn't seem to matter what resolution the Photoshop files are when they're imported, the results are always the same.
If anyone has a better suggestion for doing the type slides I'd gladly welcome them, but I think what I really need to know is the following:
What are the best expert settings to export my iMovie file as, so that when I upload to YouTube, the quality stays fairly crisp? Or does YouTube's compression just negate anything I can do on my end?
I have googled and found settings recs on other sites and other boards and tried a bunch of them and my results aren't any better than my original effort.
From another post on this board I discovered I could play with the Filters setting when exporting, and I have set that to Sharpen and also used the Brightness filter to lighten the video (it was a little dark). I uploaded to YouTube and I think it is a little better, but would still love the info if anyone has a guaranteed rec for correct settings for YouTube video from iMovie HD/6.

Have you tried de-interlacing before exporting?
Sometimes, when I'm in a rush, I would expand the Canvas/Viewer (viewed at 100%), pick the clearest frame, and do a screen capture.
For example, with the captured image (in Photoshop), I have a marquee preset at 640x480 (NTSC). I created an action to crop, resize to 720x480, then set the Pixel Aspect Ratio to NTSC.

In PO VC configuration is called for class type-300 and in GRN VC configuration is called for class type -023. How it will fetch the variant class configuration to Batch class configuration?
Once we had faced some issues the copy from PO to GRN was happening for some batches & some batches it was not happening.
yes we have activated Mill Functions in our ERP box.

My son-in-law got a new iphone4s as an upgrade from EE/orange on Tuesday 18th feb 2014
It was an upgrade for his sim only contract changed to a phone and sim
The first phone he had was a samsung galaxy s3 mini but he couldn't get used to it as had used his old iphone4 for over 4 years before it died
The samsung galaxy s3 mini was sent back and a nice shiny iphone4s was sent out instead and he got it on the date up top
The sim that came with the iPhone keeps saying invalid for some reason?
But the sim he got with the sg3 mini works but has no configuration settings for the iphone4s in it only for the sg3 mini
We have tried online looking for the settings for wap/GPRS/mms/edge ect to send via SMS but can't seem to find anywhere that works?
Can anybody help please?
His partner (my daughter) is expecting there 2nd baby and he wants these set up ASAP
He can recieve calls and make calls and do the same with SMS but no Internet/mms ect

System Settings for Kodak Zi6

Yikes, this is driving me nuts.
When I export from FCE for youtube, I'm getting some funky borders/margins. And I think it is my system settings.
I'm eager to export to 1280 x 720, as that is what YouTube says is it's max.
What do I set for System Settings for the HD from a Zi6?

Combine files stuck on checking for security settings?

Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8
I've been trying to combine 2 pdf files (scanned to pdf using Preview on Mac) in Adobe Acrobat. However, it keeps getting stuck on checking for security settings for a long time (see screenshot below).
I checked the security settings on each pdf file and they both are showing no security.
I opened the original file using Preview, open the Print window and saved it to PDF under different name and still I can't combine the files. Is there any other way to get this done? I've been searching on Google and this forum for hours and found no solution to my problem.

I have the answer! I have found that Adobe Acrobat X is buggy.
1.) I cannot click on a pdf file in the finder to open in Acrobat X - I must open the file from within the program.
2.) I cannot combine 2 or more pdf files in Adobe Acrobat X as the files keep getting stuck on checking for security settings forever.
The FIX is to move back down to Acrobat 8.

Is there a way to export settings for a resource group in new portal?

The old portal allowed you to export the XML for the settings for a VNET. I don't see the equivalent feature in the new portal. I'd like to be able to download a copy of the settings for an entire resource group to use as a template file for creation of
a new resource group deployment using the New-AzureResourceGroupDeployment PowerShell script.
