Red Alert! Help me please

Ok, so I follow the instructions for removing itune 5.0 from my computer. Uninstall completes with no issues. I download the latest MS windows installer. I attempt to run the stand-alone version of QT 7.0.2. Get to the end of the install and error about "could not open key HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\QUICKTIME.QT\DEFAULT ICON
In addition, another error message
Feature transfer error
Error-1603 Fatal error during install.
Consult windows installer help (msi.chm) or MSDN for more info.
What is going on here? I never had a problem in the past with the installation of any program?
I went ahead an installed itune 5.0.1 with my virus protection NOT running, shut down completely.
Like before, I launch itunes and get the same dang message that I had when attempting to run itunes 5.0. It says I need QT 7 to run. The install for itunes 5.0.1 completed with no errors.
So, any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.

for a rollback, often the first thing to try for the "empty library" issue is this:

On the iPad tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then restart the iPad. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Red Alert 2 on Windows 7 Boot Camp

New MBA 13" 2011.... Installed Windows 7 (Boot Camp) with latest Windows Support tools/drivers from Apple. Install Red Alert 2 the game but get a graphic glitch where the videos and user menu isn't displayed.
Anyone help?

I ran the automatic setup, I did notice that there was an ATI folder there, however I thought the graphics were Intel graphics not ATI on the new MBAs.

It sounds like you are trying to burn a playlist to a disc in iTunes, but you are getting the error, "disc burner or software not found." I found a couple of resources that I think might help with an error like this.

Error message while trying to run red alert 1 in xp

I have just bought command and conquer: the first decade for windows xp. All of the games other than the first two (c&c 1 and red alert 1) run fine. (I am running XP through boot camp).
When starting up these two games, I get this error message:
"Error: Unable to set video mode"
These games were designed for windows 95 but I am running it windows 95 compatability mode in xp. They just do not load.
I downloaded the latest patch which was meant to fix this common problem, however it dd not work. I have even gone into the settings folders and upped the screen resolution to 640 x 480 but to no joy.
I have an ATI Radeon HD2400
Does anyone have any ideas?

When you get anything that says your network connection timed out it either means you lost internet connection or there is something blocking the connection between the computer and the servers that it is trying to connect to.
If you have a solid internet connection and can browse to websites fine it's either an anti-virus program or a firewall on the computer OR a firewall in the router's settings that you use to connect to the internet.
Reconfigure any security software to allow Apple's servers to pass.
Useful information for configuring your security software:
IMPORTANT: iTunes must be allowed to contact Apple using the following ports and servers:
          ▪          port 80
          ▪          port 443
          ▪          phobos.apple.com, deimos3.apple.com, albert.apple.com, gs.apple.com, itunes.apple.com, ax.itunes.apple.com, ax.init.itunes.apple.com, ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net
iTunes uses well known ports and these ports may need to be opened for iTunes: 80, 443, 3689, 5297, 5298, 5353, 8000-8999, and 42000-42999.
iTunes also contacts VeriSign servers during an iPhone restore and activation:

Temporarily disable or uninstall your security software
If the current available version of your security software is incompatible with iTunes, you can disable the security software and test if it is the source of the issue. It might also be necessary to temporarily uninstall security software after making sure you can reinstall it and note any required licenses. A temporary deinstallation might be required because parts of some security software remain active in the background though they appear to be deactivated.
To reduce any security risks that security software is designed to prevent, consider making sure all files needed to reinstall it are available and disconnect network connections before uninstalling security software. Resolution
- Restart the iPhone.
- Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
- Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
- Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
- Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore.

XY Graph, 2D Error Bar, Legend, Multi Plot Help? Please modify the VI

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST and HELP!
Please help with this VI and make it an instructive example for me and other novices like me who come across this typical example.
A typical problem in plotting data is as follows: On the SAME plot (Y-axis = Amplitude vs. X-axis = Time), plot the curves Amp1, Amp2, Amp3, ... coming from sample1, sample2, sample3, ...
Furthermore, there is Error1, Error2, Error3, ... associated with Amp1, Amp2, Amp3,...., which also needs to be plotted. In order to distinguish between these curves, one may use different
colors and show a legend that reads Amp1 (say black), Amp2 (say red), and Amp3 (say green). The plot then becomes complete and conveys data very conveniently.
The attached VI makes an attempt to plot Amp1 and Amp2 using XY Graph and also 2D Error Bar plot (to show error bars). There is one slight problem. The legend does not show what it is supposed
to show. Can someone fix this? If I plot two curves, the legend should show Amp1 and Amp2, if I plot three curves, the legend should show Amp1, Amp2, Amp3, and so on.
I don't want to see the default Plot 0, Plot 1, or whatever. Also, it would be nice to dynamically control the symbol, color, curve style etc, as we keep adding more and more curves to the plot.
Once this problem is fixed, I know I can easily extend it to make it plot more than just two curves in a dynamic way. I could use for loops with shift registers, etc to plot any number of curves on a single plot.
Believe me, I have searched for other posts and cannot find a simple example like the one I have posted here. Many examples I found have confused me more than helped me.
I believe that if this problem is solved in a simple way, many others will find this example very instructive. So by helping me, you help many other people as well!

I did verify that this works for XY Graph, but not for 2D Error Plot.
I need both legend and error bars. Shame on LabVIEW for not making such a basic plotting requirement easy and trasparent.
There are many clever people who can find work arounds, but that is a not a correct approach.

AVG Not Recognized on Network Magic --Red Alert

How do I correct the red alert on Network Magic which says I have no antivirus installed when I just put on the new version of AVG? Now I have got Avast on the desktop and installed a new version with no red alert about it. Is AVG not a good antivirus? (Yes, I decided to try it on the laptop while keeping Avast on the desktop. Just wanted to see if there was any difference.) Will I need to uninstall AVG and put Avast on the laptop to keep this alert from being there? Thanks for any help! Susan

Network Magic is still being sold but Cisco is providing no support for it. I am still finding new uses for it in mapping and checking out my fairly complex home network. If it was updated and given some bug fixes it would be nice, and make me feel a lot better about Cisco. But because they've abandoned it and also the WRT610N router, I have finally stopped buying new Cisco products. While my 610N has buggy (IMHO) firmware, and always runs very hot due to poor ventilation, and has poor range since it no longer has external antennas like earlier models. I'd love the performance of the latest models but I won't take the chance.

Swami, Red alert or staying green or yellow occurs depending upon the thresholds you have defined.
By default or defined alert or staying green occurs when your specified hit ratio falls below or above etc.
Well, If your question is if "red alert" appeared for Table Def, Filed Descreption or Export/import hit ratio and what parameters do i need to tweak or indeed if your question is does this "red" mean any underlaying performance issues, its difficult question to answer with given details. Or Probably its not an issue or expected for your system depending on your system confirguation or utilisation or any poor zprogram or some thing else..

It could be a carrier update. Those would show up in settings as well.

Try this.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache/Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Try to make the purchase now.
