Downloaded acrbat seeking a name from the 60 page form. Thought I would seek all in one step. DISASSTER Red boxes appeared all over the document ! None dealing with the name I am searching.

Eliezer...go to the Print dialog box and click on the Advanced button on the bottom left of the dialog. When the Advanced window comes up go to the lower left corner and put a check in the Print As Image box. Then click OK and then try printing. This is a print driver issue and hopefully checking the Print as Image box will let you print without the red highlights. Good Luck!

Why does a grey box appear around my Illustrator document when I print it out in acrobat?

I am having this huge problem. After I create a document in Illustrator, crop it (so it is print ready) , open the file in Acrobat to print, something unusual happens. A greyed out tinted box appears to print which seems to be the specific area that I previously cropped in Illustrator. This has never happened to me before until I switched to CS4. Any suggestions as to how I prevent this from happening. You can sort of see it happen in the preview window with the image I attached.

Well that's just the thing... I save the document as an ai.file and just usually open and print through acrobat.

Once I delete the audio the red box with the numbers show up as if I've just made the video go out of synch with the audio even though all I did was delete. Why is this happening and how I can fix this? I've tried MARK IN SYNC and it's helped before but it's not helping now.

Redaction issue - retaining red boxes on original documents

We have recently upgraded to Adobe XI. When using the redaction feature, previous versions of Adobe allowed viewing the suggested redaction boxes on the original document after redaction is applied and becomes a fully redacted black boxed document. It is necessary for us to see these red box suggestions on the original document. Is there a setting that I’ve failed to activate in preferences or properties? Or is this just not an option through the redaction feature any more?

Strange red boxes!

Strange red boxes appear around my ap icons on safari and firefox when looking at iCloud and also in some aps like iPhoto. It does not appear in Chrome...

I see you have damaged both your hardrive(hardware) and your operating sytem (corrupted too, software)
You may want to run an diagonstic test of your hard drive complete before trying to reinstall windows.
Press ESC right after power button and repeatdley and look for Diagnostic test and start up test and hard drive test.

Red box and chapter menus

I've been working on a project, but have ran into some problems. My project's chapters take up two pages of the menu, but the music and video previews won't play on the second page. And when I was trying to figure that out, a red box appeared on all of my menus. I can't get it to go away, even in the preview mode.

Does the red box look like this one?

if so, simply go to "view" on the top menu bar, scroll down to "Hide TV Safe Area".
You may want to verify that all buttons and text objects fall within this red box for best results.

If a PDF file is password protected, the only way to open that document is with the password. You will have to get that password from the person who created the PDF.

Looks like you have some accessibility setting turned on. Not sure which one. Can't seem to find it on any of the settings.
Have you tried resetting the phone? Hold down the Home and Sleep/Power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Ignore any slider that may appear.

The field is available only in the following
cases:
1. A/R credit memos not based on other documents or
2. A/R credit memos based on an A/R invoice or
3. A/R credit memos based on an A/R reserve invoice, for which items have been delivered, and
4. if non-drop-ship warehouses are used

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Open .pdf file in Word & "Convert File" Box appears...Weird.

Using my MacBook Pro, I click on a PDF file to open in Microsoft Word & an angry box appears that says "Convert File."
In the box it says: Convert file from: then it lists various file types i.e., Text only, MS-DOS Text, Rich Text Format, HTML Document, Single File Web Page, Unicode Text and many more.
It is trying to open a PDF file in Microsoft Word.
I can't figure out how to change so it opens!!!

I find the easiest way to install Adobe Flash is to use the manual installers. You just need to download the installer to your computer, then run it to install Flash. For more details see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#main_ManualInstaller
That link states you should uninstall earlier versions, as you don't have the version of Flash used by Firefox you can skip that step.
