Red Camera Light when taking Video

Dear All,
I know this has been discussed many times but I just want to check whether is there any way or nokia have any intention to solve this issue of having the red indicator light when taking video/picture.
I do understand is for privacy issue and have no regards in shutting off simulated camera shutter tone when taking video and picture.
However problems comes in when we try to take video/picture through windows and we see the red reflection light instead, and we are not able to capture our young children without them staring at the red light.
Do advice, im using a nokia 6710 navigator by the way
Regards

well, i got a 6120 classic- video camera is not the best in the world. what i have found- in during the day and just for more colorful photos it is better switch a Sunny mode. but every thing goes wrong with the video.
and during the night it is better not to shooy at all.
some people told me, that the panel of a phone and the  transperent part of a camera is not of the best quality.
i even tried several programms for photo's quality development- no use.
the example of on my honda's board in the night- i guess the topic starter is talking about this effect.  http://xcuber.com/photo/kiilo89/1/1 - this is an xcuber account- there are 4 photos in that album. except one all photos shooted at night with the light source.
can it be fixed somehow?

When taking video the sound is a loud hiss on the playback (and when transferred/uploaded to computer) drowning out the sound of the video itself.  How do I fix this?

I'm using the default camera app with the phone.  Happens every time with videos that I take with the camera.  does not occur when watching other videos, only videos taken with the phone.  and when the video is uploaded to a computer or online, the hiss stays with the video.
I just bought the phone a few months ago, so this is the first time I’ve tried taking video with it.  I’ve tested repeatedly to see if its intermittent but it’s constant.

  • Iphone 5S IOS8 - quality of  audio when taking video?

The biggest disappointment with the 5S was the TERRIBLY distorted audio when taking videos of live music or loud events.  The 4S didn't feature the front mic and therefor sound was passing by perpendicular to the mic and it would not be as "hot" of a signal.
I have not one but two external mice I use when I plan*** on taking video but living in a city with tons of music I am not always prepared with an external mic.  Taking video with IOS7 with the 5S is useless if the audio source is above 85db or so.
Can anyone who has upgraded IOS on the 5S confirm that they have corrected the software for the mic sensitivity for a 5S?  My buddy has the 6 and his live videos of music do NOT distort.
    Thanks!

    Hello AudioArchist,
Does the issue of recording videos still not get any sounds? If so, take a look at the article below to troubleshoot the issue further. Now it may be hard to give the exact reason why that happened, but the article should assist with getting it fixed.

  • When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees.  It makes a difference depending how I hold the iPhone when taking videos.  Help!!!

When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC, some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees.  It makes a difference depending on what position I hold the Iphone when taking videos.  Help!!!!

Sometimes syncing will have problems with very large video files like this.  I'm not sure you will be able to overcome this, but if the videos are important enough you may consider purchasing 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer them.

  • Is there an app that stops hand shake when taking video on iPhone 4?

    Hi
Is there an app that helps stop the hand shake/ movement when taking video on Iphopne 4?  Thanks

Ok thanks, but do you have to turn it on to enable it or is it automatic - because if automatic it does not make much difference.  I thought I saw an app being advertisied in the apple store that would improve the stability issue. Thanks

  • No focus when taking video

Hi,You can't focus when taking video with Lumia 800. Sometimes the video is clear sometimes it is not focus at all. Is it a bug?

I think the problem only appears sometimes the phone is autolocked when video app is not exit. Then after you unlock and you find the video is not focus. You can just restart the video again and find it back to normal. It's not a bug.

  • How to disable the anti-shake feature on a canon powershot elph 330 hs when taking video?

    Hello Canon Users,
I have a question in regards to my Canon Powershot ELPH 330 HS. Most of the time, I use this camera sitting down and talking into it. The Anti-Shake feature is excellent for taking video when moving around, but when sitting down, the following happens. When I move, the background moves a bit making the video very unstable and it looks horrible. Is there a way to disable the anti shake/image stability feature? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

See, what happens is, I have my camera on a stable surface (my tripod), Then, when I move, for example moving my hands or my body slightly, the background shakes a little bit. I don't know why, but I'm assuming it has something to do with the stabilization. If I stay perfectly still, the background will not move, and everything will be fine. But even the slightest hand gestures or body movement makes the background shake.

  • Increase volume when taking videos

    Hello,
I have an iphone 4s and when i take a video - the volume is really low. When you repay the video, it is actually lower in volume than the actual sound when you took it. I can't see anyway of adjusting the settings - it doesnt give me that option when taking a video & the volume on my phone is up to its highest.
Does anyone know how to help me? Thanks

hi, i have had the same problem with my n95 8gb. but when i switched the camera to use phone memory instead of mass memory, it worked perfectly with the video recording, no freeze at all. Although it does limit the length of the video that you can take.

  • Error Message when taking video after OS 4.3 update

Anyone else getting this message "This movie format is not supported" after taking video? This just started after the OS 4.3 update. I did turn the phone off and on just to see if it was a fluke but it still happens. Thanks

  • How do I turn off the camera lights when recording a video with the Android Turbo?

I want to use the Andriod Turbo camera video function in ambient lighting using the forward lens.  But when I start recording both lights stay on.  I can video with ambient using the look back lens.  Not as good a quality and harder to aim.
Is there a setting that can turn off the lights until I want them?  How is it done?
    Thanks for the help.

Thank You!  Problem solved.  I am a new user to 'smart phones' and my original question probably should have been "How Do I Find The Camera Settings Menu?"
It wasn't obvious, but your reply got me searching again.  I found that if you drag your finger from the left side of the screen to the center the semi-circular menu appears on the left.  There I found the light control and other options.
I didn't know it existed and the manufacturer's manual that came with the phone gave no instructions on the camera operation.
abcdefg4, your comment helped me search a little harder.  Thank you again.

  • Camera takes along time to load and freeze's when taking video or picture

When it freeze's it dont let me go to the home screen.... it takes a while to load and i have never done anything to it. Someone please help.!!!!

Try a reset. It cures many ills and nothing is lost.
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Shutter sound that camera makes when taking a picture sound like it's dying.

The shutter sound that my iphone 5s makes when I take a picture sounds like it's dying. Anyone else have this happen on their phone? This hasn't caused a problem with taking pictures but it sounds weird.

Unfortunately, your naivete about complex electronic devices has misled you into a common misconception that Problem A = Cause B = Painless, no-effort, Solution C.  It's all magic to you.
Virtually any problem can have a multitude of causes, if for no other reason that you have incompletely described the total state of the phone.  More broadly, your camera problem is being caused either by corrupted code and or settings, of unknown origin, or a hardware issue.  There is no way anyone determine psychicly.  The only way to find out is the standard troubleshooting steps developted by Apple, and described In the User Guide.
it's taking more than half a day to put a big bandage on the wound and hope it fixes it.
Nonsense.  1-2 hours tops for 2 restores.
This has been a problem with the phone since the day I bought it.  It can occur everyimte I use the camera app for a week then not happen as much for a couple months.  In the past year, I have restarted, reset restored, etc several times and I still have this problem
You oddly failed to mention any of that in your initial post, and instead endowed us with whining about your frustration level...  You didn't mention doing ANY of the troubleshooting steps you now describe.  Yet another example of entitlement trumping logic.
The bottom line:  Restore the phone as new (without restoring the backup), if you haven't done so already.  If that doesn't work, you need warranty replacement of the phone.

  • Best hi-def camera setting when delivering video on DVD?

I know this issue has been addressed here before, but for some reason I can't find the relevant thread using the search function.
The Sony EX1 (and most other hi def camcorders) has several shooting modes.  Frame sizes available are 1920x1080, 1440x1080 and 1280x720.  Frame rates at 59.94i, 29.97p and 23.98p.  If I know in advance that I'm going to be delivering the video on DVD (after being edited in Premiere), which is the best camera setting to use?
    J. D.

I usually shoot 1080p with my EX-1.  30 or 24 fps are fine depending on content and personal preference (30p for me) and always shoot in HQ (highest date rate) mode.  Interlace?  Not a chance for most of what I do.
The great thing about dropping HD shots into an SD sequence is that it gives you the ability to reframe your shot within a large canvas.  Plus perfect zooms or edits to tight shots to hide jump cuts without resolution loss.  So many options.  You can shoot in 720p if you believe more data for fewer pixels equals better SD (a valid argument I suppose), but your canvas for reframing with be substantially smaller.
I like to keep an HD version of every edit even if I believe it will ever see the light of day.  Who knows what tomorrow may bring.  After editing, if I want to play with framing, I'll copy/paste the edit into an SD sequence and go to town.  Otherwise, I'll just export the HD sequence to Encore or AME.
