Red Dot next to badges?

Hi,
There is a red dot in the lower right hand corner of image next to the badges.
This only on some images.
The dot wasn't there before.
Does anyone know what this means and how did they got there?

Figuted it out.
Its a label.
How igot there I don't know
Under preferences the red label says printed.
I never typed printed as a descriptor
I printed a few images to Adorama about 9 months ago.
These were the same images.
Which really isn't a print but an export
Odd that it should show up now as printed.

I don't know why but as I was looking at my phone this morning, I noticed a little red dot next to my front camera. I'm not sure what this is & how I need to fix it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "front" camera. Is it the one that you use for selfies, or the one that you take pictures of other stuff with?
If it's the one on the back of the camera (the side that doesn't have the screen) that's the rangefinder.

I had this issue on my iphone 4, and two songs listed on the iPhone in iTunes had the dotted circle. I researched it, and I found a hundred different answers. Some were complicated like uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. All I did was this... In iTunes under Music, I simply unchecked Sync Music, and I deleted all music from my iPhone. I then checked Sync Music, chose all the songs I wanted. No songs in iTunes had dotted circles, and all songs on my iPhone played.

Can you play those songs in iTunes on your computer?
Make sure they are all part of your iTunes library before you sync and that they were bought with the same AppleID you use on your phone.

hi im getting a red dot next to some of my music, when I try to play , it seems to only relate to my music selection that was not purchaseed from Apple , from memory it all seemed to go wrong when I ran updates. If you didn't move to iCloud, do it. Then, go to System Preferences > MobileMe and delete it. Finally, go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts, delete MobileMe email and configure mail

This red dot is just to show you which fieldpoint controller is selected. You can change between controllers, and the red dot will move.

Why are red dots next to my music? How can I fix this so my music will play?

Why are red dots within red dots next to some songs on my phone? How can I fix this so that the music plays and the dots don't just turn grey when I press them? All the music is from CDs not the music purchased from iTunes. Thank you.

The red circles with squares inside them often mean that the sync with your iTunes went bad.
Try re-syncing your device. Can you play these tracks in iTunes?
If a re sync does not work then you may need to rebuild your iTunes Library.

I have many tracks on my iPhone that won't play and have a little red dot next to it. I try re-syncing with my desk top library but no changes occur, help

Just put two iPhone 5 black and a white through a small test, in dark room and lighted room, with screen all the way up and dim, also with Proximity functioning during call, and could not see the red light with naked eye, could see it with non-iPhone 5 camera however. If you see this with naked eye, take to Apple for evaluation.

Yep, it the phone is switched off, there is no way to locate it. What you're looking at is the last located position, which will be available for 24 hours.

How do I remove red dot update from App Store icon

I just updated nine iPhone apps via iTunes during a recent sync of my iPhone (5s OSv8.1.2). Update and sync both went fine without a hitch. However, the App Store icon on my iPhone still has a red notification dot with a number 9. I've gone into the app, selected Updates, and noticed that all nine apps are listed there with an "Open" box next to them. I've opened each app and each works fine. I've powered off the phone; same problem.
How do I remove the red dot notification next to the App Store app?

Hello, I finally went to the App Store support who rang me back and went through it. It seems that Mountain Lion will not operate iPhoto 9.3.2, you have to have 9.4.2. So trashed the application in my Applications folder (which has cleared my App Store of the hanging iPhoto updater) and they signposted me to the download for 9.4.2 (mind you it is taking hours to download!!) I live in hope that this will fix it. If it doesn't I'll let you know!

Hi this is probably a naive question, but what do the red dots where wires meet subvi's mean? They don't show up as errors, but I'm not sure what is wrong with the wiring.

Avoid coercion dots in your own VIs and live with those in NI's motion library.
Modifying NI's library ? Your time and effort will probably be ruined by the next release.
Inserting Type Cast functions ? The code won't be more efficient but on the contrary will need more space (and become more difficult to understand).
I don't know why NI uses different type definitions but they might have a good reason. Please call them and let us know their answer.

The little red dot with a bar on the weekly calender

Stupid question...In iCAl I have a little red dot with a bar attached to is that goes across the entire week. It is next to the timeline at about 2:00. It only shows up on the week calender. What is this bar? What does it do? Can one make it go away? It's killing me. I can't find a setting for it, an explanation, a right click...nothing. It's just buggin' me. Anyone???

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
The red dot with the bar is supposed to represent the current "Time of Day." It will/should be displayed in the Day, and Week views. It appears as if your TOD is stagnant, i.e. not working, if is stationary at the 2:00 time, and only visible in the Day view.
There is no user preference to change the normal behavior.
Since your iCal appears not to be working as advertised, you may be able to regain normal function by refreshing the iCal plist file. You will find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Quit iCal, drag the .plist file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iCal for normal behavior.
