  • How to undo red eye from photo

I clicked on a photo that does not have a person's face (it's a garden photo) and accidentally clicked on red eye option.  My Ipad seems to be stuck with the photo and I can't undo the red eye.

If you already saved the photo after you edited it, you can't undo it.

  • Can I remove red eye in Final Cut Pro X?

I've imported over a thousand pictures from iPhoto of my trip to California, and was wondering if I could remove red eye from photos without having to go back to iPhoto, fix the red eye, then reimport.

OK, I thought he was saying that since consumer apps already do it, a professional app has to have the feature. Anyways, I guess I'll just have to reimport it.
Many of the Pro users are (rightly IMO) very ticked off with FCP X as it no longer supports many important Pro features that they use daily and is currently unsuitable for use by many for commercial/professional work.
(For hobbyists/amateurs, myself included, it will probably do very nicely as a step up from basic video editors available on the Mac and at a fraction of the price of the old suite which I couldn't justify buying).

  • Red Eye "Treatment"

    Hi all,
I am using Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 and can seem to find a way to correct red eye on photos. Any ideas?
    Thanks much!!

In the Edit menu when you select the 'Fix Photo Window' option, it will show you 3 type of fixes- General, Crop and Red Eye. You can select the Red eye option to correct the Red Eye on Photos. The same can also be selected from the Fix button in the top toolbar.Let us know if that worked.

  • Removing red eye

Can any one help me to remove red eye in photo uploaded using jsp

Most red eye remooval programs are interactive and require the user to select a section of the picture that contains the red eye. If you can manage to find a red eye removal tool that can scan and identify red eye in a picture without user interaction and it contains a command line execution mode you could simply exec this tool and pass the uploaded file to the tool. My guess is finding such a tool may be difficult. Perhaps google can help you with this.

  • I can't get my iphone 4 photos out of red eye mode. Accidently tapped red eye when I had a photo without people in it and it won't go back to album or move to another photos. Any ideas?

Help - I have a photos that doens't contain a person in it stuck in red eye mode which I accidently hit. It won't let me back inot my main photos folder, just keeps going back to this photo.

Reset the phone by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing.

  • Photo stuck on edit requesting red eye but there are no eyes in photo and cannot move away or go back

Photo stuck on one photo cannot move on or back . Initiated through edit with red eye option selected - in error as there are no eyes visible how do I cancel this?

Close the photos app in the recents tray and then reboot the iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the Photos icon. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • When I edit a photo and remove red-eye, iphoto 6.0.4 resizes image

    Hi - I am using iPhoto 6.0.4
When I edit a photo to remove the red eye, the image get's resized to, and saved as, a tiny thumbnail on a black background. I then can't recover the image to original size.
    Can anyone help?

    ian
Check the bottom right hand corner of the window, see the slider there? Move it to the right does that help?
If not, right click on the pic and choose 'Show File', what folder does this take you to?

  • Why when I edit a picture with photo to remove red eyes an then open in Snapseed red eyes are still there?

    Hi
Firstofall I must excuse for my really bad English
I have ann iPad 2 updated with IOS 5.0.1.  I use camaraderie connection kit to import photos from the SD memory card.  Then I browse them with the default photo app, and I make some corrections like removing red eyes effect.  Then if I open the corrected photo with Snapseed the red eyes appear again.  I have tried many times and I am sure that I save changes.  If I browse the photos again I see it correctly.  It is like corrections are not really stored in the picture but Ina sidecar file.
    Thanks in advance!!!!

    Thanks for your answer razmee209!!
Yes, and it shows the picture with corrections..  This is what is strange to me.
I'm amateur photographer and on computer I use Adobe Lightroom.  There when a edition is made, changes are not stored in the original file, but written in a separate xmp file or in the catalog.  So if you try to open an edited photo you cannot see corrections.  To get the corrected file in another app you need to export the photo, this is create a new file with the correncions applied in it.  For me it seems like photo app in IOS work like that.

  • Is there a way I can auto fix the red eye in all photos in my library, rather than fixing each individual photo seperately?

    Hi,
I have lightroom 5 which I use to edit photos taken using a ringflash around my canon 60D. The ringflash causes subjects in the photos to have red eye. Is there a way you can auto correct the red eye over all the photos you import rather than using the tool to edit each individual photo separately?
    Cheers,
    Tegan

    The short answer is: no.
And I don't *think* there is a longer answer - but maybe somebody knows better..
    Sorry,
    Rob.

  • Red eye causes i photo crash

    Hi there,
Im trying to use ed eye in i photo ver 6.0.5 & find the application crashes as soon as i try & save the change. The same thing happens with touch up also.
Has anyone had and solved this problem before?
    Lach

I tried this myself to make sure it wasn't a bug within iPhoto 6.0.5, and I didn't have any problem with the red eye and touch up tools, and the edited file saved OK.
I can only suggest that you delete your iPhoto preferences file, which you will find at ~username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iphoto.plist. This will not harm anything. Just delete the com.apple.iphoto.plist file and iPhoto will write a new one the next time you lauch iPhoto. Preference files can become corrupted/overwritten and sometimes simply deleting it will clear up odd, quirky problems.
Some people suggest repairing permisssions as a matter of routine but I have never found that helpful for anything. Ever. But it won't do any harm to do this either.
Other than that, you could try re-installing iPhoto. I sometimes find that when all else fails, reinstalling the application will put things right, but only as a last resort.

  • Red eyes photos can't be downloaded to pc

All the photographies that I have corrected with my iPhone 4S, when I connect it to PC
I just see the original photo (with red eyes)
That's it, when I try to copy them, I can see all the photographies but not the corrected ones.
If I see them from the phone, they are corrected, buy from PC they are not corrected
    Anybody knows the solution?
The red eyes filter and color correction is only for seeing on iPhone?
    Aren't them corrected definitely?
    Thank you

    Hi Stucki,
First thing to check is the permissions on the iPhoto Library folder.
Do a "get info" on the folder and make sure the permissions are Read/write for you. Make sure to check the box at the bottom.
