Red eye removal tool not only for RED eyes

Hello,
I posted this already one or two years ago:
As wildlife photographers we encounter the "red eye problem" in different ways:
Some birds or mammals have a blue reflection or even a green reflection - or other colors.
The redy eye removal tool won't work here. I am sure that there are some other wildlife photographers,
who have the same problem (we use sometimes flash to get rid of shadows in harsh daylight or to
get more brilliant colors in dull light).
Solution: Don't reduce the tool to red eyes, but let us select the color, which should be removed!

Question: Regarding Red Eye Removal Tool

I'm using Lightroom Version 1.4.1 on a Mac OS X 10.5.6. When I activated the Red Eye Removal tool, I noticed that the Pupil Size and Darken sliders did not appear on the Toolbar to the right of the Red Eye Tool icon. All that appeared was a written instruction to "Drag from the center of the eye or click to use current size." Just to check, I then downloaded and installed a trial of Lightroom Version 2.3 without linking it my previously installed Version 1.4.1, but the sliders still did not appear, only the above written instruction. I do note that the sliders do appear on the Camera Raw plug-in for my Photoshop CS3. Has anyone else had this same problem and/or know how to correct this? It seems that a lot of people have been experiencing difficulties with the Lightroom Red Eye tool. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

The sliders appear when you apply the tool, not just when you activate it.

Red Eye removal tool bug

Hi everybody,
I have a big problem using the red eye removal tool:
When trying to select the area around the eye to correct, LR randomly creates a selection rectangle of a different size and at a different location.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Example:
+ I activate the red eye removal tool
+ I drag the cursor to create a selection around the red eye to correct, taking care to have the center of the rectangle more or less in the red area of the eye
+ Release the mouse button
+ the selection rectangle disappears for a split second and appears again at a different location, for example around the eye brow or somewhere under the eye in a 20-30 times smaller size than what I selected.
Is this a failed attempt of artificial intelligence to properly recognize the area to correct or simply a bug?
BTW. the file in question is a JPG, with 2 people, red eye correction worked fine on 3 of the eyes (selection rectangle stayed where I created it) and fails on every attempt on the fourth (LR restarted and so on).

The red eye tool works by selecting the whole eye not just the pupil. If it still does not work try lightening or darkening the image to gaiain some more colour. If that does not work you can clone form one of the eyes that has worked.

Why dont I have the pet eye function in the red ey removal tool?

I saw the tutorial regarding pet eye removal. That tool does not show up when I go to the red eye removal tool.

If you select the Red Eye tool in version 12, the Pet eye should be a tool option at the bottom.
Is it not there?

I cannot find the red eye removal tool on the main screen of Photoshop CS3. Where can I find it? I am using Windows XP.

Red Eye Removal tool issue

The red eye removal tool no longer works (it was working as described but stopped). It doesn't seem to recognize there is a red eye to correct, even on very clear subjects. I am using Lightroom version 1.2. I have reloaded Lightroom several times and rebooted, but no success. Everything else in Lightroom seems to function properly. The photos I have been editing are in RAW format and the operating system is Windows XP. Has anyone had this issue, or have any ideas how to fix it?

I am having the same problem with LR 1.3 on a Mac.
It was working perfectly when I used it in version 1. My issue exactly parallels yours.

Eye dropper tool not working! (color picker)

Okay, I am fairly new to photoshop, so maybe I am doing something wrong. My eye dropper tool is not working at all.
Say I want to select the color of someone's face. I click my eye dropper, then click somewhere on the subject's face. My foreground and background colors both become white (when one was previously black). I click on a green shirt... both are still white. I click something black... both are still white. Am I going about color picking wrong? I have tried the sample size as point sample, 3X3 and 5X5. No luck.
How do you color pick?

Make sure you are selecting the right tool. It's in the Draw section of tools. Please donot confuse it with Red eye removal tool.
Try resetting the Editor's preferences. To do it, close Editor. Open Welcome Screen. Before clicking to launch Editor, press Ctrl+ Alt+Shift and then launch Editor. It will open a dialog box. Click Yes. See if this helps.

PH3100U-1EXB Sleep Removal Tool not working

I apologize in advance if I am in the wrong category, but this is a "laptop accessory."
I have a 1TB external drive connected via Esata to my work laptop. My work laptop won't run exe files for obvious reasons. I had to reformat the drive to NTFS. Also, the security software encrypted the drive upon connection of esata. My personal laptop has no esata connection. When I connect the drive to my personal laptop via usb, the Toshiba sleep removal tool cannot find the drive. Is this because it's not connected via Esata, or is it because the drive has been reformatted?
PS, I couldn't care less about the backup/monitoring software that came with the drive

I see the posts here about the sleep removal tool not being necessary for the GEN 2 drives, But I can't see any information on how to disable it on the Gen 2 drives. I'm trying to disable the sleep mode so I can use the drive via the esata port on a scientific atlanta 8300HD DVR, hence the windows power managment driver is not going to be able to set it to no-sleep at power on. Is there a jumper inside the drive enclosure, or on the drive, or some other piece of software that can set the default to disable the sleep mode. any help out there?

Red eye removal when not red in Elements 7

I have numerous human face photos in which the eye is not truly red, but, in fact are light pink, white or some yellow. Also, in some cases there is red eye and light pink in the same eye; the red eye tool will only change that portion that is red and does not change the other color. None of the red eye tools seem to pick those colors up. How do I solve this problem?

Try selecting the eye and applying a Hue/Saturation adjustment. This can be done via Enhance > Adjust Color > Hue/Saturation or by adding a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. In the H/S dialog box select in the pull-down list the appropriate color you want to remove, and move the Saturation slider left.

Ultra Key problem. Eye Dropper tool not picking up color.

Hi, thanks for your post. Yes, I did find a solution but it's not going to make any sense to anyone. I was having problems also with other programs such as adobe bridge and Camera raw (the color was yellow). So, I, as it is my custom, did a back up of my harddrive as a system image (just in case my computer crashed) and all of a sudden all these problems got resolved! I know it sounds crazy but whatever took place internally solved it. And trust me, I had tried all kinds of stuff before for not only Premier but also bridge and camera raw - nothing had worked.
So, I guess you could try that ( you have nothing to lose ). I hope it works for you.

How to remove the note text for column (portal)

Just i wanted to know how to remove the note (text) which is coming infrond the column in the appraisal template in portal view.
My client doest want the text "note" (which i highlighted in the yellow) comming infrond the coulum. Pls can anyone tell me how can i remove only the "note" text from the template?

In SE80, Choose Web Dynpro Component HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY and you will find the component controller node, double click it and goto methods tab. Here you can find the method CONVERT_CONTEXT_TO_UI, this method will be triggered twice. Search for the code "CALL METHOD lo_nd_t_cells->get_static_attributes_table", this is the method which defaults the "Note" based on the row and column iid. You can overwrite the code by writing the implicit enhancement.

SRM 7.0 POWL Removal of TABS - Only for Particular Roles

Hi All,
We are upgrading onto SRM 7.0 and one of the business requirements is to remove tabs "Team Carts" and "Confirmation of Team Carts" from POWL.
However the requirement is to exclude it only for one particular role. How can we achieve this?
I know that this we can restrict this through the following config:
Path: SPRO --> Cross-Application Componetns --> General Application Functions --> Generic SAP Business Suite Functions --> Personal Object Worklist --> Define Query Visibility at User Level or Define Query Visibility at Role Level

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS
Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE
Query ID: SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_01
Category: SC
However I would not be able to use the above config to exclude the two tabs for only one role.
Is there any other way to achieve this?

I think you can do this by config.
Path: SPRO > SAP supplier Relationship management> SRM server--> POWL and Advanced Search --> Adjust POWL Layout, Search Criteria, and Pushbuttons
in which you can define,configure your feeder and it's catalog, actions and other criteria , then make this feeder type available to application/role..

Lightroom 5.5 spot removal tool not working

Hi all.
I've just updated to lightroom 5.5 and discovered my spot removal tool isnt working as before. The opacity is set to 100 and the brush size is set in the middle. It won't work for any of my images event after restarting lightroom. Any ideas anyone?

Hi Hal
The cursor doesn't change to the circle. There is just no response at all. It appears to be an issue with all the images in one folder and doesn't seem to affect other folders.
Also I have noticed when in library mode, it has 1:1 size selected and when I click in to develop, it resets back to Fit and won't let me select the 1:1 size unless I click 3:1 then back to 1:1. Sounds odd I know but I will keep trying. I cant help but wonder if its something I have selected by mistake somewhere.

Z10 format including removing software not only security wipe

is there a way of formatting everything in the z 10 device including the software itself ? i mean blank wipe the device to reload totally new files without any old issues.
please let me know im having sometrouble even after reloading the software, i need to format device totally not only security wipe.

Everytime I connect my device to blackberry link it gives me that it cannot communicate with device and I should reload the software.i reloades software 5 times and still the same screen. Deleted link and reinstalled same thing.
Also the fone gets heated up and slower and sluggish even the apps by time and restarts alone sometimes its a mess.
Please let me know a way to format the device completely not only security wipe because I tried that also.
