Red green yellow - whats the logic in it

hi gurus,
In PFCG once we get into authorization and display, some are in red and some in yellow and green. It is based on maintained, partially ,unmaintained authorizations. But, when a red changes to green and yellow change to green and green change to red. Hope u understood my question. pls help me in this.

Dear Livingston,
The logic behind the traffic signals in the Change Authorization Data page is not as explained prior.
The simple explanations are provided in the help legend in the same page.
To further elaborate, when you are creating a role with a set of transactions being added to the role from the SAP Menu in the Menu tab of PFCG, SAP organizes the set of Authorization Objects and the Authorization Values as pre-defined for the transactions that is added.
If certain transactions are left with open fields in the SAP definition these fields appear unmaintained in the Change Authorization Data page. It is the responsibility of the BASIS Consultant of the Security Consultant to fill the unmaintained fields, not just by making them red to green or yellow to green by clicking on the buttons but by finding the correct values that needs to be assigned as authorizations to the role in turn to the user.
For example, if you have added a functional transaction to a role - a set of authorization objects depending on the dependency of the transaction are added to the role. The organizational levels which are the base of the functional working of the business in SAP are added without the specific value for the organizational value being added, as a BASIS consultant we need to analyze the role with the help of the corresponding functional consultant to identify the activity of the role and assign only the needed Organization Values. This is the situation in which you find the Authorization fields to be in RED color.
Similar to the above mentioned case when an authorization object field is not completed with an activity for example Read, Write, Display etc access - you find the field to be Yellow when you assign a particular activity to the field the same turns to maintained level and the representation is shown green.
The objects which are by default maintained is shown green, to generate a role completely and to effectively use the authorizations assigned we need to completely maintain the role, i.e all the fields needs to be maintained.
By simply changing the status of the field from red to green or yellow to green you are giving complete authorizations to the corresponding activity - which is not recommended in certain categories.

Red green yellow buttons in iTunes 10

OK, I upgraded to iTunes 10 awhile back and noticed the buttons in upper left corner of window are gray and not red green yellow. I have searched the web for fixes and came up with two
defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1
defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -int -1
These work to make the vertical to horizontal, but the color is still gone. What is the terminal entry for getting the color buttons back. Not really concerned with the icons being color at this time but would like the corner buttons color.

No red, green, yellow buttons

In iTunes 10.5.1, there are no red, yellow, green buttons at the top. Also, the command M option doesn't work. Anyone know of a fix?

Hmmm, do you mean the buttons at the top left of that window?
If so, it may not have a green expand button, only red fpr close & yellow for hide.

A green one means the message is sent via your telecomprovider, just like in previous iOS versions.
A blue one means the message is sent via a data connection (a bit like whatsapp for instance). This is done when both you and the recipient have iOS5. If you're on a wifi connection, it should not cost you any money/credit with you telecomprovider.

My question to all of you is, I recently inherited a USB to RCA cable, I was hoping to plug it into one of the new digital tv's that has an extra auxiliary set of rca ports to video-mirror from my iBook to the digital TV...

1.2 Depending on my model of tv, consult the manufacturer?
1.3 Or am I dreaming in well...not technicolor...but Digital? Is there any uses for the cable then that you could suggest?

USB won't work, but you can use an adapter on the mini-VGA port. If the TV has a VGA port, use the mini-VGA to VGA adapter

Configure Overdue date with lights red green yellow

Hi folks,
I have a requirement to assign lights to overdue date in Agent inbox -> advanced search. When I have queried for the same in forums, i was given an SPRO path to configure, CRM > Interaction Center WebClient > Agent Inbox > Map Item Attributes to Inbox Attributes > Define Advanced Warning for Due Date. And was asked to create a Get_P method which i couldn't achieve.
Please could someone provide a quick resolution for this.

I did not try this but have seen similar requirement met through config. I am not exactly sure though.

Whats the logic in push registry???

hi,
was jus doin this push registry thing. in short Midlet registers itself to AMS then whenever some event occurs such as time or something happnes at specific port then midlet is started....
but in example application i saw and tried to make i have to keep my listner midlet running so that it can listen to push events. now wheres that AMS working.....????
i thought push registry was some sort of demon working beind the scene and gets activated only when some event occurs. infect i should not call it deamon according to book it is dead and only activates when called by AMS due to some registred event....

I don't understand the question. The Docs are pretty specific here...
"When the application is not running, the application management software(AMS) listens for inbound notification requests. When a notification arrives for a registered MIDlet, the AMS will start the MIDlet via the normal invocation of MIDlet.startApp method."
Like the docs say, your applet will be started when the desired even occurs. It does not need to be running to listen for events. This really is how it works. If you use the 'Alarm' functionality, your midlet will be started after a set amount of time. The Javadoc's on the PushRegistry even have example code.

How exactly does the logical shift function work?

I think I am missing something very basic here - I am trying to left shift an 8 bit unsigned integer by one place (x<<1)in each iteration of a while loop. So if I start with a number, say 18, the first iteration I get 36, then 72, 144 and after this 32, 64 and so on. I'm not able to do this apparently simple operation in LabVIEW. I tried the logical shift function and a formula node, but both dont give me what I need. The formula node appears to be close in that it gives me 18,36,72,144 but after that I get 255 rather than 32. I dont understand what the logical shift function is doing here. I have attached a vi here that shows what I am trying to do. Any help explaining the mistake I am making will be greatly apprec

You have the inputs confused. If you want to left-shift by 1 at each iteration, the "1" goes on the upper "y" terminal and the number from the shift register (the "shiftee") goes at the bottom. (see attached modification).

1252 status blinks red,green,blue

Hi,
I'we connected a Cisco 1252 accesspoint to a 802.3af switch, 15.4w.
And it blinks red, green, blue on the status.
The accesspoint is autonomous using latest c1250-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JA1. 5Ghz radio is off/disabled.
but im still getting this in the logs
"Limited(1x3 MIMO) radio functionality due to insufficient inline power. To get full functionality use enhanced PoE switches, power injectors or power supply."
If i physically remove the 5Ghz radio the alarms go away and also the error message about mimo 1x3.
Is there a way to disable the 5ghz radio completeley through software?

Start up and stuck with the flashing color (red green blue yellow...)

I just bought Macbook pro(My first time with Mac product) today, and when i unbox the MBP it was have a good start everything is ok, than I test the DVD drive to make sure it work or not, than i put the VCD to it. it was stuck (with the flashing color). than i dont'know what to do. I press the shutdown button around 10s the pc is shutdown...I open it again and eject the VCD, than I was stuck with flashing color (red green blue yellow...) i have try to restart many time buy pressing the button but still the same. than i keep it away for about 1hour than I open it again It was WORKING AGAIN the same as I first started, than I restart, but the same problem happen again (flashing color (red green blue yellow...).
1. I have tried to boot from DVD that come with the MBP holding C but nothing happen
2. I have tried to reset PRAM (Command-Option-P-R) not work
So what wrong with that?
Could anyone help me to fix this out?

If the Time Capsule is operating normally, the light will be green.
If the amber light is blinking, something is not adjusted correctly, or there may be an update available for the Time Capsule.
Do you have the device that was used to set up and configure the Time Capsule there? Is this a Mac? If yes, we need to know what operating sysem it is using.
If you are not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and then click About This Mac. Post back with the OS X Version number that you see there.

You had Safari in full screen mode.

That's just the way it is in full screen mode. You need to come out of FS to see the dots again.
