  • Pearl Flip wont load - Red LED blinks twice, nothing on screen

My Pearl Flip refuses to load, and the only activity it shows is the red LED blinking twice every few seconds. I have tried the following
-tried reinstalling the two most recent versions of the OS using the Blackberry Desktop Software, but the installation hangs at the point of loading the system software
-tried using the application loader, however the installation hangs at loading the system software
-tried to use JL_Cmdr to wipe the device. As far as I can tell it did not wipe it (although it doesn't really provide any errors either)
EDIT: Should also say Ive tried all the above from multiple computers and using Win7 and XP
What other methods can I try to restore this device? I appreciate any suggestions that might be out there.
    Thanks!

  • Q10 Red Light blink twice, Mac wont detect

I tried to do a reload by connecting my phone to bb link, but I end up getting a message that says repair not successful.
I have a black screen and a red light that blinks twice.  Is there anything that can be done to my phone up and running again?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If not, then please increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and possibly 4-5.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Mx106 red led blinking issue

What does it mean if the red led of the dynamixel mx 106t keeps blinking... it was running just fine with a baudrate of 36 for 5 minutes... then the problem starts when the motor led starts blinking continuously....

may be your TA Unit is broken, you must flash a TA  fix with FlashTool so your phone works again, make shure you've got your drivers installed correctly, and you aren't on windows 8.1 RTM/Preview (still not compatible) . Cheers

  • BlackBerry Z10 won't turn on and red led blinks 4 times

    Hi all,
Yesterday my BlackBerry Z10 suddently turned off, I turned it on again and it worked fine for a few minutes (battery was around 90% full), then it turned off again and I couldn't turn it on anymore! The red led is blinking 4 times with a 3 seconds interval between each 4 blinks sequence. I tried to charge the battery, connect it to the computer, turn it on without the battery (with charger on), with no success. Sometimes, it shows the BlackBerry logo, or even the logo with the % loading, but then it turns off in the middle of the process, on random percentages.
Does anyone know what happened to the phone and how to solve this issue?
    Thanks!
    V

Mine keeps turning off... I called them and they told me to send the phone to Blackberry by mail to check what's wrong and that when the phone gets there, they do a complete evaluation and in 30 days they send the phone back... In other words, I have to buy another phone! Blackberry assistance is useless...

  • Sony TV KDL-60W840B Red LED is blinking 2 times and TV wont turn on

Hi, I have a Sony TV KDL-60W840B which I bought 13 months ago for the world cup soccer (gift for my husand). Now it is not working and like you can read in the subject line once the TV is plugged into a power strip the red led start to blink twice and pause, when I try to turn on it not do it. Please help me because it is not fear that just when the warrenty finished the TV is not working,  and in fact I spent $2000 one year ago to have this issue. I really appreciate your help. Ana LuciaAB, Canada.

    Hi aluva,
    Welcome to the Sony Community!
If a Red LED is blinking and the TV is not working properly it means that the TV has detected an issue or problem. Most Red LED blink conditions require service. The meaning of the blink codes differs between TV models,
Please perform reset, visit the website below for the steps and further details.

If these articles do not resolve the issue, the problem is most likely related to an internal component that must be replaced and service will be required. Begin the procedure to send your Sony product into a Sony facility to be repaired.

  • Q10 wont turn on. Red LED 1101111 blinking.

    Hi All,
Just updated my Q10 to 10.3 via the carrier update and after half a day my phone turned off and now it wont turn back on again.
When I press the power button the yellow LED comes on and after that the red LED blinks in the following sequence 1101111.
Tried all the usual tricks. Battery pull, plugged phone in without battery, plugged into blackberry link, used original charger/cable, hold power button down for 10 seconds etc...All don't work.
Any ideas would be much appriciated

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I cannot quite tell if you have done exactly this or not...apologies in advance if you have.

    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please try again but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 4-5 hours.
It is also possible that the OS update caused this. Due to the number of problems with "upgrading" to this OS level, I suggest you try the very clean and very forceful AutoLoader OS Reload:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...
Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)
Good luck and let us know!

  • When I wake up, I have email, but no flashing red LED!

Last night, I plugged the charger into my 8900, saw the clock displayed, and went to sleep.  When I woke up this morning, I had 4 new emails and 2 text messages, but the LED was still blinking green, not red.  Had I not looked at the 8900's screen, I would not have know there were messages waiting for me.
I searched the forums on this issue, and came across one post which said exiting the bedside mode by bypassing the clock application's "Exit Bedside Mode" option can cause this.
All I can think of, is that I might have set it to Bedside Mode (which turns off the LED) and then pressed the MUTE button to put it in standby.  I remember seeing the message dialog box show up saying the phone was entering standby mode, but the message never went away.  I cleared the dialog box by pressing the red End Call button.  I think the phone may also have exited Bedside Mode at that time, or I may have manually exited it via the clock's option.  My guess is that this is what caused the LED not to flash red after receiving messages.  Unfortunately, I've been unable to replicate the error using this method, or any combination thereof.
    Any ideas?

The blinking red LED blinks ONLY for about 15 minutes after receipt of a message or email. Unless you had received the email and SMS in the 15 minutes prior to your waking, there is no reason your LED should have been blinking.

  • Wont turn on /blinking red led

Hi all, have my xperia z3 for about two weeks, not rooted, not unlocked, without any modifications. Yesterday before sleep it was with more than a half of akku, today as im woke up and got it in my hands it was off, im plugged charging cable, was thinking maybe the battery was drained, but nothing happens still, its just blinking red (led).
Was trying to hold power + volume up, nothing.
Reset key near sim dont works for me either - i'm just notice 3x vibrations and thats it, its just repeat vibrate 3x times again and again but nothing happens, no boot.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

  • Red LED won't stop blinking after the phone turns on. Pearl 8100.

Ok, I have searched and read all over the net to find out about this, but nothing seems to compare.
My browser suddenly stopped to respond, and the buttons on either side of the trackball stopped responding while in the browser. This happend every time I entered the browser so I did a hard reset. Now the browser wroks fine, but...every time I turn the phone on, as it starts searchig for the network it will start blinking the red LED continuously and it only stops when I receive a call or a msg.
This obviously can't be right, but I can't find anything that appears to be wrong besides this....any suggestions?

That is certainly backwards. It should START not stop when you receive message or phone call.
Do this for fun Options > Screen/Keyboard > LED Coverage Indicator. Turn that off for now and see what happens.

  • Updated to v4.5 now phone not working, red light blinking

K...so I updated to the new software v4.5 on my 8320 curve and now it is not booting up and the red light is blinking twice every few seconds.  I have already removed the battery and done everything that I can think of without using JML because I don't want to lose my info....please help...thanks.

I fixed my problem. I found this on the tmobile support site, and it worked after the second try.
Handheld does not turn on and the light flashes
Ensure the handheld is NOT connected to the computer.
In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open Application Loader and Update Applications.
Remove the battery in the handheld.
Reconnect the handheld to the computer
When the Drop-down list on the Communication Port Selection window changes to USBIN, click Next.Note: If there is no USB option in the drop-down disconnect the device, remove the battery and re-connect the device without the battery.
If the Handheld Password Required dialog box appears, type your password. The Application loader will detect the BlackBerry device.
Proceed with running Application Loader. Allow the Application Loader process to complete; this can take 30 - 45 minutes.Note: If the battery was removed during step 5, make sure it is re-inserted when the Application Loader comes to the Wait For Device Initialization stage.
Do not disconnect the device from the computer until you receive a message your PC, “The loading operation was successful.”
